Happy Marriage

"Where is my mother?", Chloe asked Athena when she got inside the wedding wall

"She's taking a breather", Athena said and walked to her husband

"My dearest husband", she said and hugged him quickly

"My love, if you keep acting like this, I'll have no choice, but to make our wedding night be in this castle", Deimos said and Athena just chuckled as she hugged him tighter

"You will be the death of me", Deimos said as she finally gave up

"I'm happy today, it's been a while since I've been this happy, I'm always happy when I'm with you", Athena confessed as she closed her eyes

"I'm happy", Deimos simply said, he wanted to ask her if she truly meant that, but he held himself from asking in fear that she would distance herself from him which was something he did not want at all

"What happened when I was gone?", Athena asked as soon as she let him go

"Well…, your ex-fiancee came and asked me to divorce you", Deimos answered looking into her eyes as if he was seeking for an answer in them

"And?", Athena asked requesting the complete information

"Well, I told him that I had no plans of doing that and if he kept pestering you I would make his family name disappear as if it never was here", Deimos answered still looking at Athena

"You did an amazing job. Well done", Athena said and patted his head

"Just admit that you view me as a dog", Deimos said to Athena who started laughing

"You are just so cute", Athena said and smiled at him

"If I knew getting married to me would bring you such genuine smiles then I would have married you the day I first met you", Deimos said and kissed her forehead

"Thank you, now Deimos, shall we go cut the cake?" Athena asked

"Yes my dear", Deimos said and held her hand as they walked to the front

"Listen up!" Deimos shouted and with that, everyone looked at him

"You didn't have to say it like that", Athena whispered to him

"I know", Deimos answered and smiled

"Once more, I thank you all for coming to witness our wedding, I know that some of the things that are happening now do not happen at other weddings, but I hope that you respect my wedding because, after all, it is my choice, the last thing I want to do is cut my wedding cake with my husband", Athena said and walked towards the cake that Deimos had chosen to be made with them

The couple held hands and cut their cake whilst the maids cut the other cakes

"Happy marriage Deimos", Athena said

"Happy marriage my love", Deimos said and smiled back
