"This is a miracle," the doctor said for at least the 100th time as he looked at Athena who was all well, it was as if nothing ever happened to her, it was as if she hadn't just died

"Thank you for allowing me to borrow your doctor and for allowing my wife to sleep in your home, we will find a way to pay you," Deimos said to the King who stood next to Athena's father who was still staring at Athena with worry, but also curiosity

"I am her uncle, no need to repay me," the king said and the look Athena gave him after that statement said it all, she was not his family.

"Deimos, I want to go home" Athena told her husband as she looked at him cutely

"As you wish my heart" Deimos said and picked her up from the bed

"If any word of what happened today gets out, I will kill each and every person present in this room," Deimos said and without waiting for what they were going to say, he left

The two of them got into the carriage, but Deimos still kept Athena in his arms, carrying her like a baby

"Will you please let me go" Atena requested, but Deimos just held her tighter

"Why are you acting like a child Deimos Perez?"Athena asked, but all she got in return was a kiss on the cheek

"You are so beautiful" Deimos said to Athema who became a blushing mess

"Thank you" She appreciated his compliment

"You're so beautiful but yet so cruel, you have no idea how much it hurt seeing you in that state, I felt like killing myself, Athena, I wanted to follow you wherever to the Gods, I thought I lost you forever, what I'm trying to say is that don't you ever do that to me again" Deimos said and Athena nodded, she knew the pain of losing someone you loved, she's lost him more than 3 times already, that was enough time for her to understand all the stages of grieve, Deimos' strongest part was denial, his denial made Athena wonder what would happen if she were to work up dead one day after they have a family together, would he leave their kids just to follow her?

"I'm sorry for hurting you" Athena apologised to Deimos and hugged him

"Dont ever do that to me" Deimos repeated himself and Athena nodded in agreement

Even if he was a murderer, monster, dragon or a man who was a sucker for her, he was hers and she loved him

Hurting him was the last thing she wanted to do
