Drunk

"I am happy that you're making her happy and all, but can I please get my wife back?" Deimos asked as he stood behind Athena who was by then sitting with Charlotte and a few ladies at the table talking about the baby and marriage

"Deimos" Athena called out his name with a smile

"You're a little drunk," Deimos noticed

"Just a little, Charlotte made me drink and so did Ruby, oh did you see Ruby, she hugged me as soon as she saw me, she's such a cute lady" Athena kept rambling to Deimos

"Whatever you say my heart, Lady Charlotte, lady Ruby, I thank you for taking care of my wife" Deimos said and went next to Athena and carried her in bridal style

"Where are we going?" Athena asked as she held him closely

"Take her to bed, she needs rest, it's been a long day," Charlotte said and Deimos nodded, looked at his wife, smiled and then started walking away with her

"Emporer Deimos" Duke Tim shouted his name and approached him with two glasses of win, one for himself and the other for Deimos

"Emporer, the other men and I would like you to join us for some fun, come and have a drink, we'll even invite some ladies to please your thirst," he said and chuckled a little

"Can you not see I am holding my wife? Do you perhaps not respect my wife Duke Tim?" Deimos asked him

"No, of course not, I was just asking your Imperial Majesty," the Duke said

"Next time, don't ask because you might lose your damn tongue, now move out of my sight my wife needs to rest," Deimos said to him coldly

Everyone knew that Duke Tim screwed up and he would surely regret it the next day when he sobbed up

Most would have dared to ask him to go and enjoy other women if they didn't see the look in his eyes whenever he looked at his wife, he seemed human looking at her

"You're so much trouble my heart" Deimos said as he changed Athena into her night dress

"And yet you still love me" Athena said sleepily

"Of course I do, but sleep, the real party starts tonight," Deimos said and kissed her forehead, changed his outfit and slept next to her

Athena felt his presence and buried herself in his body as her arms were around him

Deimos pulled her even closer and closed his eyes with a smile, it was a good thing that after seeing Chloe that one time she left, her father, siblings and mother did not attend at all, their absence for those few hours made Athena so happy, he wondered how much happier she would have been if they all just disappeared, but sadly they couldn't and he was banned from killing them. Pity how they were coming for the big celebratory ball.

"Stop thinking and sleep" Athena said as her eyes were still closed when she felt the tension.

Deimos nodded and finally gave up to the warmth of wife and slept
