Chapter 143: Should I Take a Cold Shower?

Here it comes again! This man really liked to tease her! Xia Wanwan glared at him with a sense of grievance, yet deep down she was convinced that Xi Muchen was kidding. After all, no matter how he teased her, he still treated her with a great deal of respect.

"I can't be bothered to argue with you." Xia Wanwan glanced at the clock on the wall, "It's getting late, I'm going to bed first, do as you please."

The man responded with a sound, not saying much else.

Xia Wanwan lay down on the traditional Chinese bed, but she had been lying there for less than a minute when she felt the other side of the bed slightly sink in.

Xia Wanwan immediately sat up straight, her eyes wide as she looked at Xi Muchen who was now sitting on the bed, and asked in surprise, "What... what are you doing?"

"What else can I do in bed if not to sleep?" Xi Muchen looked at her leisurely, "Or, do you think I might do something else?"

"Besides, you slept quite well last time at the Xia Family, didn't you?"
