"Mother! Why is that wench need to go as well?"
An elegant lady sitting in front a mirror, behind her was two maids one is fixing her reddish hair and the others are putting makeup on her face, behind that elegant and graceful face, Mellisa Hoe - Dobrrieve cant hide her commoner personality and eyes full of malice and evilness.
"Mother!"
"Hush".
Annison, Mellisa's mother and Baron Dobrrieve second wife, put her finger in her lips signaling her daughter to silent, opposite of Mellisa's attitude Annison carried herself like a real born noble lady, she glance at her pouting daughter and sigh.
"She is a Dobrrieve.."
Mellisa eyes flashed instantly,
"I am a DOBRRIEVE TOO!!!"
This is what Mellisa really hate, she is only Dobbrieve by name!
After Baron Dobbrieve brought them here, he finally decided last year to put Mellisa and her brother Brett in the family registry.
Mellisa clench her fist tightly, she hated it! She hated all the noble ladies making fun of her and calling her

If its not for her beauty and the help of her sly mother she will not last in the social circle.
"If you cant change that personality of yours, i dont know what will happen to you in the future"
Annison shot her a death glare,
"She is a Dobbrieve, and we cannot change that, dear you must hold your temper and dont act like uneducated child"
Annison stand from her seat and walk towards her daughter, she bent down and touch her daughter's rosy cheek.
"You are my Daughter and you are a Dobbrieve, Soon your brother will inherit all of Dobbrieve's property, and i will wed you to one of illustrious and distinguished family"
"So you better watch of your temper and act as a fine lady"
Mellisa realized her manners, after a short while Annison saw her daughter taking a deep breath and slowly showing her a charming smile
She smiled back to her daughter and lightly pat her daughter's hand.
"Thats my daughter"
Annison gave her a smile and stand like a refined lady, she walk to the table and took the rose placed in the tall vase and put it in near her nose and smell the fragrance coming from it.
"Even if its real, if it's not a beauty it will be a waste,"
Annison glance at mellisa, slowly squeezing the flowers, rose petals fall down to her feet and as if its not enough Annison step on it and crush it.
"Go on darling, the carriage are waiting outside, choose the best dress, sweetie you're beautiful and you will always be"
Annison glanced back and smiled at her daughter, she wave her hand motioning her to move,
"I understand Mother, but Bethany.."
Mellisa want to continue but her mother shot a glare at her, 'Bethany! Even she wear rugs she will always be a beauty!' Her mother knows that as well, because bethany's look is exact replica of her dead mother.
"Go on dear, i have lots of things to do we need to convince your father to choose Brett as his heir, and i need to talk to your father about your marriage prospect,"
Mellisa cheek's heated up, when she hear her mother talk about her marriage.,
"And Ohh! also that wench marriage. I heard Baron Milton is looking for a second wife…
Hhmm…
We need to settle all this before that boy Anthony return"
Mellisa looked at her mother, she was amazed, her mother was so relax like it is all small issue
Annison smirk and started to walk towards the door,
Mellisa watch her mother bid her goodbyes
"See you later, Mother"
In response, Annison only wave her hand before she step out and closed the door.

"Anthony, are you excited? Only a month left and we where going to graduate"
Anthony sigh and glance at the man walking beside him
"Crown prince, why are you here again? And what We?
If i remember correctly your highness is not studying here"
"Anthony, why are you so cold to me? Even My cousin Will is cold toward me"
The crown prince pout his lips and look at Anthony pitifully.
"You're highness can you please refrain talking to me like that."
Anthony sigh, he don't know what this prince saw on him that he keep following him since the first day he enter the academy,
"Anthony, you must be excited to be reunited to your sister, right? I know you missed her so much"
The Crown prince doesn't care about his friend attitude, he continue to blabber.
Anthony pressed his mouth together making it a thin line,
Yeah, he missed his sister he was worried about her, she is soft and quiet girl, but in front of him she will always act like a strong woman who can carry the whole kingdom.
He remembered when the incident last couple of years back that time their stepmother asked him to refill a tea to her teacup and Brett his stepbrother tripped him, resulting to accidentally pour the hot tea to their stepmother new dress.,
Anthony will not forget that scene, when his sister Bethany step up and stand before him, protecting him to that evil woman
He can saw her sister's back and shoulder quivering while trying her best to be strong, she said firmly
"No mother, he accidentally trip, he did not mean it"
His stepmother looked at them with a fiery eye
"Im sorry mother, please forgive tony , i will wash it, i can removed the stain, i promise"
"So what you will do! Is your sorry enough? You say you will wash it? This is my new dress and now what happened?! You ruined it"
After shouting at them he saw his stepmother swing the ruined dress and it hit his sister fragile body, he saw his sister swayed a little but she tried her best to keep her footing
He hold her sister shoulder, deciding to bring his sister to his back when he heard a loud slap, it's so loud that his body turned stiff he was so shocked and when he looked up he saw bethany's head tilted sideways
"No sis- sis-sister" that time he really want to be strong immediately, but he can't help his tears to stop, he hold his sister dress tightly "I'm sorry sister"
He felt his sisters body is swayed and quiver, and he heard,
"Thats enough for now, so disgusting! Tsk! butler! Dont give dinner to these two wench,"
"No dont give food until tomorrow"
"But madam, young miss and young master will."
"I will decide everything in this mansion, you have no right to step in"
The butler old face look sad and glance at me and my sister i can see in his face that he felt sorry for us
"I understand, Madam"
"Good"
After everyone leave only me and my sister left in the room i saw her bruise cheecks and eyes glistening with tears
"Si-Sister, i am sorry, if it not because of me.." i know she's hurt, but his sister gave him her usual sweetest smile
"It's alright tony, i am here you don't have to worry, i will protect you"
I will be back sister, this time I can protect you.
