Edgar carried Alessandra down to the kitchen in his arms. There was a quick stop in their bedroom as Alessandra did not want to be walking around the house naked even though they were the only ones present. Edgar gave her a robe while he wrapped a towel around his waist.
Before going to the kitchen, they made a quick stop in the dining room where gifts were piled up for him. Some were big and small depending on how much money the servants had to spend. Among the pile were Alessandra's gifts for Edgar.
Edgar had plans to only open Alessandra's gifts right now before continuing with what they started in the bathroom. He placed Alessandra down so she could pick out her gifts for him.
Alessandra brought the wrapped-up portrait of Edgar for him to open first. She spent the most time on this gift and hoped he would like it.
