Chapter 30: Blast From the Past
"I can't believe I let you losers convince me into coming to this thing," Alex muttered as they all grabbed a glass of champagne from a passing server. "Isn't it way too soon for one of these things anyway?"
"Losers?" Gemma repeated in an affronted tone.
"It is definitely a little early," Vero agreed with a laugh, ignoring Gemma. "You know how Emily is though, always eager to throw a party or organize an event."
Alex sighed and looked around the room in boredom. They had just arrived at their college reunion but she was ready to leave. She hadn't wanted to come to begin with, but the other three had insisted and basically forced her to. She couldn't think of a single person from college that she was eager to see again right now.
