Chapter 4 I Have Nine Dantians

Four years past shortly in the cultivation chamber.

Armstrong had already learnt how to talk, read and write at the age of 2 years due to his intelligence.

And when he was 4 years old, his dad had taught him a lot about the cultivation and the world out there.

Although Armstrong was really intelligent but he wasn't able to cultivate properly.

"Come here son." Lucas called Armstrong

Armstrong hurriedly went and sat on his father's lap.

"I want to tell you a little more about the cultivation world."

Armstrong was thrilled when he heard his father was going to tell him the cultivation world.

Although Armstrong wasn't having a good aptitude for cultivation despite all the spiritual fruits and grains his father gave him but his physique was something that his father couldn't even comprehend.

"When it comes to cultivation, it's not everyone who can cultivate and that's why there are a lot of mortals on this land. It is we cultivators duty to protect all mortals whiles it's the mortals obligation to obey and serve us as their masters.

In this world of cultivation, there is something called the something called the survival of the fittest or the law of the jungle where the strong prey on the weak.

If you don't have enough strength and power to protect yourself or else you will be killed or turned into a puppet of someone." Lucas said

When Armstrong heard what his father said lastly, he began to shiver.

"Dad, so you mean I might die on the road of cultivation if I'm not strong right?" Armstrong asked

"Yes my son." Lucas answered him.

When Armstrong heard that, he became sad because he wasn't able to cultivate properly.

"It's okay son, you don't need to worry about not being able to cultivate well now." Lucas said that when he saw his son's worried face.

Somewhere in the central part of the Baltis Continent.

"We stand and fight for our kingdom.

We are the son's of the golden wyvern and we know no defeat or retreat in battle.

It's was our King's order that we should defend this kingdom and make it prosper in his absence.

So we are going to fight the Assar Kingdom, kill them and use the blood to show show our commiseration to our late queen."

Four years after Lucas and Armstrong went into cultivation seclusion, Morgana came out to reveal the truth behind the prince's curse and why the queen died.

She continued by telling the officials of the Wyvern kingdom that is was King Alfred of the Assar kingdom who hired her to place the curse on the prince.

The reason why Morgana revealed the truth was that King Alfred didn't keep his promise and refuse to give Morgana enough blood essence she need for her longing breakthrough.

When the people of the Wyvern kingdom heard it, their blood boiled like lava

The only thing that could calm them was blood is the Assarians

Although the Assar Kingdom was having expert cultivators, mages, swordsmen and assassins in their army but they were still not confident to against the Wyvern kingdom.

The battle continued for 2 months but still no one was willing to accept defeat or retreat.

"Soldiers of the Wyvern kingdom!!" Shouted Scott

"In order for to win this battle without suffering much loss, we need to use a strategy to defeat them.

We need to create the formation called the Man To Ash formation around where the Assarian army will pass to get to us." Scott said in a serious tone.

Somewhere in the Assar Kingdom, King Alfred invited King Walker and King Edwin to meet him in a secret place in his kingdom.

"I called you here because I want to form a three kingdom alliance with you." Alfred said with a smile on his face.

"So how can we believe that this is not one of your cunning tricks?" Asked Walker

"That the reason why I came with the alliance binding contract for us to sign with our blood essence to make sure that no one will go or plan against the other party." Alfred explained to them

After King Walker and King Edwin heard what Alfred said, they excused themselves to think about what they should do.

After about a minute later, they came back agreeing to Alfred's proposal.

After signing the contract with their blood essence, King Edwin asked "so what's the motive behind this three kingdom alliance?"

"It's because I want you to join me in the battle between my kingdom and the Wyvern kingdom.

And after we defeat them, everything within the Wyvern kingdom will be ours" Alfred replied him

When Walker and Edwin heard it, they became elated for forming that alliance with Alfred.

On the day for the final battle, the Assar, the Narnia and the Iceland kingdom marched to the battlefield with confidence.

They didn't know that to Wyvern Kingdom had prepared a surprise awaiting them.

"Today is the day that will the end of the Wyvern kingdom by our three kingdom alliance." Alfred declared

"Oh so the Narnia kingdom and the Iceland kingdom have joined you to defeat us?" Scott surprisingly asked.

"As you can see we are alliance now and we are going to bring the Wyvern kingdom down after killing every single soldier of yours." Alfred said

"Why I'm I even wasting my time talking to you?

Charge forward sons of the Wyvern!!!" Scott shouted as he charged forward with Philip, Martin and the soldiers.

"Charge soldiers of the three kingdom alliance!!!"

King Alfred also charged with his people.

The moment the soldiers of the three kingdom alliance reached the middle of the battlefield where the Man To Ash formation was created, the Wyvern kingdom activated the formation with all the Qi.

When the formation was fully activated, it created a

Spherical boundary around the three alliance kingdoms to prevent them from escaping.

"What the hell is happening?"

Why are our soldiers turning into ash?

And what kind of formation is this?"

King Alfred asked several questions within a second.

"Your highness this is the Man To Ash formation which could turn any cultivator below Late Core Formation Realm into ashes." One of the mages said.

"So how can we deactivate this formation?" Walker asked.

"I don't know my king, the formation will deactivate itself after 30 minutes." He said

When king Alfred and the other kings heard that, they knew they have lost the battle before it even started. The moment the formation deactivated itself after 30 minutes, more than half of the soldiers of the three kingdom alliance had turned into ashes.

"Fall back!!!"

The three kingdom alliance retreated for they knew if they stayed any longer, the Wyverns will come after them and kill them.

The soldiers of the Wyvern came back home victorious.

9 years passed quickly after Lucas and Armstrong went into seclusion.

"Your are only 9 years but you look someone who is 12 years." Lucas said

"Hahaha that's because I'm the son of Lucas Arthur." Armstrong laughed and said.

"Now that you've reached the last stage of the Body Refinement Realm which is the blood refinement stage, I will you more about cultivation than what I used to tell you.

Although an 9 years old cultivator is supposed to be around Mid Mist Refinement Realm, I'm still proud of you for being able to reach the late stage of the Body Refinement Realm which is no less than the Initiate Mist Refinement Realm." Lucas encouraged his son

"First of all you need to know the all the cultivation realms we have.

There is the Body Refinement Realm which consists of four refinement stages which is the skin refinement, morsel refinement, organs refinement and the blood refinement.

This is the first cultivation realm a cultivator passes through to build his foundation for cultivation.

After that, we have the Mist Refinement Realm.

This is when a cultivator opens or unlock his dantian to absorb natural essence to refinement it into Qi.

The realms above the Mist Refinement Realm is the Qi Condensation Realm where the refined Qi in your dantian in condensed in a milky form.

In this realm, cultivators can externally apply Qi on their attacks to makes it aggressive and they can use their Qi anyhow they want.

And before we continue, you should know that each realm have 4 stages which are the initiate stage, the mid stage, the late stage and the peak stage." Lucas explained to Armstrong

When Armstrong heard all that his father said, he became more eager to pursue strength and power.

"Let's continue son." Lucas said

"After Qi Condensation Realm, there is the Core Formation Realm. It is in this realm where a cultivator forms a core in his dantian when the condensed Qi in a milky form solidify.

And it is in this realm where cultivators get their elements to form their core.

And one thing you should know is that you are not the one who choose the he or she want but rather it is your body that will choose the element it constitute with." He said to his son

"So you mean you wouldn't know your element until your body chooses it when you get to the Core Formation Realm?" Armstrong asked his father.

"Yes son, you wouldn't know until you reach there."

"So what are the elements?" Asked Armstrong

There are 5 elements which are the Fire, Water, Earth, Metal and the Wood element." He answered.

"Wow that's awesome." Armstrong exclaimed

"So if I get all the 5 elements, will I have Fire, Water, Earth, Metal and Wood elemental core in my dantian?" Armstrong asked curiously.

"That's not possible son.

I've never even seen someone with two elements in my life."

"Okay father." Armstrong said

"It's getting late Armstrong so let's continue tomorrow after your first cultivation session."

After Lucas left Armstrong's room, Armstrong sat crossed leg on the floor and closed in eyes to start his cultivation. His conscience entered into a place which was full of darkness.

He looked around to see if he can find a gate or and exit point escape from that darkness place.

As he was wondering around aimlessly, he saw 9 brighting colors ahead of him. He run to where the colorful lights were and when he reached there, he saw 9 circle with 9 element in them which were Fire, Water, Earth, Metal, Wood, Lightning, Light, Darkness and the Wind element.

Armstrong sat in front of the 9 circles with 9 elements in them to cultivate.

The moment he started to cultivate, he saw the circles and the elements entering his body forcefully.

After about an hour later, all the circles and the elements had uniformed with his body

The moment he woke up from the trance, he shouted

"I have nine dantians"

"So does that mean if I'm able to open all my dantians I will be 9 times stronger than anyone I'm in the same cultivation realm with?" He asked himself

"And I need to gather all the 9 elements to form the cores when I reach Core Formation Realm in order to get a complete set of cores in my dantians." Armstrong said excitedly

He continued to cultivate the rest of the night without a sleep.

The next morning, Armstrong opened his eyes and smiled happily because he had broke through from Body Refinement Realm to Mist Refinement Realm last night.

"It's show time." Armstrong said
