I Hugged Him First, Dad!

Liu Jiangou trusted his daughter the most. If she was to be in a relationship, he would be very happy to know about it. And from the looks of how they were hugging one another, it just looked like they were a couple.

But he knew if his daughter was to be in a relationship, she would come and share it with them all.

Thinking that she needed someone of her age to talk to, Liu Jiangou decided to leave quietly. As he took a step back, he stepped on Feng Xinglang's right foot.

"Ahh!!!" And Feng Xinglang yelled.

Liu Jiangou turned around to stop his secretary from screaming. He kept his index finger on his mouth and signaled him to stop. Liu Rushi heard the scream. She realized what she was doing and immediately let go of Lei Qingshan.

She wiped her tears and looked at him. "I am sorry! I was just too much into it..."

With long strides she walked and opened the door. "Dad?" She looked at Feng Xinglang. He had his foot up and was screaming whilst looking at it.

"Mr. Feng, are you alright? Dad, what is going on over here?"

Feng Xinglang gave a nod. Liu Jiangou gulped as he heard his daughter's question. 'Right now she might be feeling guilty thinking that I might have seen her and I actually saw her... I can't even hide the truth from her... She catches me very easily, what do I do... What to do?' Liu Jiangou's mind was turning into a chaos.

With a little stutter, Liu Jiangou spoke "Aigoo! It's n..nothing! Nothing at all..."

"Then why is Mr. Feng holding his foot?" As she said that, Feng Xinglang immediately kept his foot down.

"Ahh, that, I stepped on his foot by mistake." Liu Jiangou sighed.

He then saw Ji Min Jun coming out of the room. He called out "Manager Ji, I would like to speak to you in private." With a stern and cold voice, Liu Jiangou told Ji Min Jun to follow him.

Liu Rushi gave a weird look at her father's back as she saw him walking away taking long strides along with Ji Min Jun. She looked to her side to see Feng Xinglang, when she also saw him run away behind Liu Jiangou.

"Did Dad see it?" Liu Rushi asked herself in a daze.

"Feng Xinglang, don't let anyone enter till I come out, okay?" Liu Jiangou instructed his secretary sternly and entered inside the meeting room. Lei Qingshan followed after him inside the meeting room. He heard the door close behind him.

With his head lowered he looked down towards the marbled floor.

"Look, Manager Ji! I won't beat around the bush... I will directly get to the point. So, I want to know what were you doing with my daughter inside?" Liu Jiangou asked with an angry voice.

He sat on one of the swivel chairs kept near the large conference table.

"Huh?" Lei Qingshan looked at Liu Jiangou bewildered.

"I have seen it all. Don't pretend that you don't know." Liu Jiangou again said with a stern voice.

At this moment, Lei Qingshan felt cold sweat running down his body. He was afraid thinking that maybe Liu Jiangou had found out who he actually was.

Lei Qingshan started to explain with a stutter "That...that your daughter she...she...umm.. she was hurt so, I comforted her."

"So if you had to comfort someone will you be hugging them, Manager Ji?" When Lei Qingshan heard this, he thought that he was simply worrying for no reason. His mouth curved upwards in a smile as he thought 'Ahh! I simply worried too much. How will he know that I am Lei Qingshan when I introduced myself as Ji Min Jun? Hehehe! I was just simply getting worried.'

Lei Qingshan was still not being used to called Ji Min Jun so, he was hesitating whenver he was alone with Liu Rushi's father. The way her father looked at him always raised a doubt upon himself whether her father knows who he is or not...

"You haven't answered and yet you smile, Manager Ji? I thought you are a wise person and that was the reason why I hired you but you were hugging my daughter..."

"That was because I hugged him first, Dad." Liu Rushi opened the door with a bang and interjected her father's words.

Liu Jiangou looked at his daughter with a furious expression on his face. "Mr. FENG??? FENG XINGLANG???" He called out loudly.

Hurriedly, Feng Xinglang entered inside. "Didn't I tell you that no one was to be allowed inside?" With rage still visible in his eyes, Liu Jiangou glared at his secretary.

As Feng Xinglang opened his mouth to speak, Liu Rushi said "Dad, I requested him to do so. Besides, Manager Ji isn't at fault. I needed someone to comfort me and..." Liu Rushi stopped her sentence midway as she felt the tears falling down her face.

Upon seeing his daughter cry, Liu Jiangou's anger melted. He walked closer to her and patted her back. "I am sorry. I didn't realize that it would be hurting you. I just didn't wanted you to go through another heartbreak again, my dear. I'm sorry, Daddy's been really mean and selfish."

Liu Rushi cried even louder and hugged her father. "Just don't say that... I know why you did it. But please don't blame Manager Ji."

"Alright. As you say..."

"Ahh. I should have gone back home with Dad. If it wasn't for Feng Mian, I would have been resting on my soft bed with my plushies..." Liu Rushi said as she stood near the company's exit waiting for her friend to come.

After everything was settled between her and her father, Liu Rushi got a text from Feng Mian saying that she wanted to meet her. And so, Liu Rushi stood near the company's exit and waited for Feng Mian to come.

5 Minutes later, a Black Maserati Ghibli stood beside her.

Liu Rushi looked astonished at the black car which was shining as if brand new. She wondered as to who the driver of this extremely rich looking car was..

Nevertheless, as the window rolled down, she became shocked...

"Feng Mian?" Liu Rushi exclaimed loudly and Feng Mian gave a smile.

"Are you surprised, babe?" Feng Mian asked with a loud cheerful voice.

"Yeah, what is with this car?" Liu Rushi asked as she walked around the car and looked at it completely surprised. She touched the car and said "Woah! This car is so good looking."

"It is, right? Now, come in and sit inside and I will tell you everything!" Feng Mian said and revved the engine. The car made a vroom vroom sound and Liu Rushi chuckled at it.

Saying an okay, she walked towards the front door and opened it. As she opened the door, a voice came behind her.

"Miss Liu."

Liu Rushi turned around to see who it was. She saw Ji Min Jun standing with a coat in his hand.

"Manager Ji? Is something wrong?" Liu Rushi asked in a daze.

"Nothing! Just this..." Liu Rushi heard her manager and she felt a warm cloth over her body. She looked at him surprised.

"The weather is unusually cold tonight so, keep yourself warm with this."

Liu Rushi blushed at this. She lowered her head and looked down while he adjusted the coat all over her body.

For her, it was like Ji Min Jun doing it but the person who actually was doing it was Lei Qingshan.

"This coat will keep you warm." Lei Qingshan said and made her sit in the car. After she sat, he closed the door and waved her goodbye.
