Her Loving Family

Just as Liu Rushi was about to knock the door, the door opened showing the worried faces of her parents. They both hugged her as if they never saw her before. Liu Rushi laughed and hugged them back. "Mom, Dad!! I'm fine. Dont worry. I'm okay now and I'm back also." She laughed once again and hugged them.

After hearing their daughter the parents let go of her and pulled her inside the house. They made her sit on the couch and then her mother, Liu Manni spoke "I prepared your favorite dish. Let's have it first then we can talk okay?"

On the name of food Liu Rushi's stomach grumbled and she touched her stomach and said "Yeah mom, I'm hungry also. Let's see which favorite dish of mine did you make ??" She followed her mom towards the kitchen and as her mom opened the lid she yelled "CRAYFISH... ahh!! Mom you made Crayfish." she hugged her mom and kissed her cheek "Thank you soo much mom. I love you."

Liu Rushi came out of the kitchen and saw that her dad's shirt was now brown. She started laughing and when her dad gave her a glare she held up her laugh and asked "What happened Dad?? Why is your shirt brown??"

Her dad, Liu Jiangou shot one more glare at her and said "It was because of your scream. You screamed crayfish and here I went crazy. Hmmph." Now it was impossible for Liu Rushi to held up her laugh and so she ended up laughing badly. And when her dad said enough she bowed and said sorry to him.

That's when her mother entered with the dishes she saw that Liu Rushi was bowing her head. She punched her dad on the stomach and said "How dare you give her punishment huh?? She just came now and you still want to punish her huh?? What happens if she laughs a little huh?? You really look funny so its impossible not to laugh okay?? You...."

Her mother kept on shouting and Liu Rushi knew that her family hadn't changed at all. All those 23 years she saw them talking like this. It made her happy, but the deed which she had done today will that make her parents feel sad? She felt uneasy. She wanted to share it with her parents but then thinking that they will be worried about her she didn't say anything and went and stopped their fight.

"Aaaah (Yawn) what's the commotion now mom??" Liu Mei, Liu Rushi's sister came out of her room yawning. Her hair were messy and her clothes were disheveled. She rubbed her eyes and opened them to see.

As soon as she saw Liu Rushi downstairs along with her parents; she immediately ran down the stairs and hugged her sister "Big Sis, I thought something bad happened to you...owww.. Mom I'm just saying it. No need to hit me." Before her words could end up her mom hit her and Liu Rushi chuckled. Seeing the calm and comfortable atmosphere her eyes started to form tears and become blurry. She hid her tears and said "Ahh.. I'm fine. How is my little sis??"

"I'm good Big Sis." She made a peace sign with her fingers.

They all sat on the dining table. Soon her brother, Liu Zhang along with her sister-in-law, Yang Yue came downstairs. They hugged Liu Rushi and asked about her well being. Liu Rushi was now so irritated. Everyone kept on asking her the same question.

She banged on the table slightly otherwise she would get shoutings from her father and mother and spoke "Aiyoo.... What is this? Everyone is asking the same question again and again. I'm fine... I'm fine... I'm fine now. I was with my friend only nothing else." She made an 'OK' sign with her fingers and sat back on the chair.

Liu Rushi knew her family. She had never stayed at any of her friends place without her family's consent but yesterday she did it. That's why her family was worried. Liu Rushi knew that she can't hide it from her family for so long. She had to say it soon. Anyway, the time was also almost near.

Seeing her mom peeling crayfish, her tears welled up. Without anyone noticing she wiped it and started to speak. She hid her quivering voice and made it look confident. She made a plan in her mind saying that she will first speak to her Sister-in-law and then she will take her sister-in-law's advice whether to say to the family or not.

Liu Rushi had shared many things with her sister-in-law. Before her brother got married she shared it with her little sister and now since her sister-in-law came, she shared everything with her.

Her mom placed the peeled crayfish in front of her and within few minutes Liu Rushi finished her plate. She had not forgotten to feed her mother. In between her bites she would consequently feed her mother and father also.

For the parents, as soon as Liu Rushi would come back to the house, the house would shine and have a great atmosphere but as soon as she was gone, the house would become dull and lonely.

They got worried regarding her marriage. Every parents want their daughter to get married and settled but Liu Rushi's parents were just the opposite, they didn't wanted her to leave the house and go. But then if this was the reason, Why did they agreed for Liu Rushi to get married??

Liu Rushi also never wanted to get married. She considered marriages to be hell, no freedom, the guy won't be loving or so and Moreover, she didn't wanted to leave her lovely parents and go. But even she agreed to this marriage, Why??
