The Brave Hero, Emilia's expression shifted, and a trace of panic flashed in her emerald-green eyes. "Is this some kind of trick by the Demon King?" 

Without her ability to regenerate her holy energy, her silver hair gradually turned back to shades of red and purple, and even her holy sword retracted into her body.

Several passersby glanced at her curiously.

"Is this person cosplaying?" one whispered.

"Looks pretty strange," another muttered.

Just then, a group of otakus, dressed as vampires and werewolves after attending an anime convention, walked past Emilia.

The brave hero's face hardened, and she shouted loudly, "You're remnants of the demon clan, aren't you? You've finally shown yourselves—prepare to die!"

"What is this person talking about? Is she a foreigner?" one of the otakus asked in confusion.

"I have no idea."

The otakus stared at Emilia, bewildered.

Without waiting for an answer, Emilia charged at them.

Half an hour later, Emilia found herself arrested by the police.

"Let me go! You remnants of the demon clan! I, Emilia the brave, will never succumb to your tyranny!" she yelled, struggling as they tried to push her into a police car.

The nearby officers exchanged sympathetic looks.

"What language is this person speaking? Is she foreign?" one of the officers asked.

"Maybe she's a hardcore otaku, watched too much anime, and now she can't tell reality from fiction," another suggested.

"Should we send her to a mental hospital?" someone else wondered.

Meanwhile, Sui was blissfully unaware of the strange occurrences in his world. He was sound asleep, completely oblivious to the chaos outside.

The next morning, Sui woke up early, stretching as he made his way to the bathroom to brush his teeth and wash his face.

However, when he opened the bathroom door, he was met with a massive reptilian face. Its head practically filled the entire doorway, its golden vertical pupils gleaming with a cold light.

"Huh? Erina, how did your face get so ugly after just one night?" Sui mumbled, still half-asleep.

The creature's mouth opened, revealing sharp teeth, and it exhaled cold air.

A chill hit Sui's face, snapping him out of his daze. Horrified, he slammed the bathroom door shut.

"System, what the hell was that just now!?" Sui demanded.

"The issue was successfully fixed last night. The host has now opened the door to another world," the system explained calmly.

"That's not what I'm asking! What was that creature behind the door!?" Sui shouted, exasperated.

At that moment, there was a knock on the bathroom door.

"Is that thing trying to come in?" Sui panicked, preparing to barricade the door. But before he could react, the door swung open.

A cute girl dressed in a maid outfit with horns on her head and long orange hair tied into two braids jumped out cheerfully.

As soon as her orange-red eyes met Sui's, she beamed with joy. Bowing slightly, she said, "As agreed, I'm here to be your maid! From today onwards, let me serve you! My name is Tohru."

"When did I ever agree to that?" Sui asked, puzzled.

He recalled his conversation with Frieza the day before. Could it be that this cute girl was Frieza in disguise? Could Frieza really be this adorable?

"Yesterday, Sui, you drew the holy sword from my body and said I could come live with you if I wanted," Tohru said, her face flushed with emotion. "I'll never forget the kind words you spoke to me."

"Tohru?" Sui muttered, trying to place the name. After a moment, it clicked. "Wait, isn't this Tohru, the dragon maid from 'Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid'?"

At that moment, the system voice chimed in, "As compensation for yesterday's two errors, the host is being given one dragon maid, free of charge."

"Seriously?" Sui sighed, exasperated. "So, the door I opened leads to the world of 'Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid'?"

"Correct," the system confirmed.

"And the holy sword? What's that about?"

"The system altered the plot, which is why Tohru now has a favorable impression of the host," the system explained.

Tohru gazed at Sui with hopeful eyes. "May I be your maid?" she asked softly.

Ignoring the fact that she was actually a dragon, Sui couldn't help but be swayed. When such a cute girl looks at you with such longing eyes and asks to be your maid, who could say no?

"Uh... sure," Sui said with a nod. Having a cute maid around didn't sound bad at all.

"Yay!" Tohru cheered, flashing a small, sharp fang as she leapt at Sui, hugging him tightly. "Sui-kun smells so good!" she exclaimed, burying her face into him.

Sui was speechless. 'Why does she remind me of Nao Sadatsuka?'

"By the way, what's the reward for opening the world of 'Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid'?" Sui asked, remembering that each world usually granted him a special ability.

"Dragon cells," the system replied.

"Dragon cells?" Sui repeated. "What does that mean?"

"Currently, the host's dragon cells are 1% complete. Once they reach 100%, the host will evolve from a lower life form, human, into a higher life form, dragon," the system explained.

Sui was once again left speechless, but he did feel noticeably stronger than before.

"By consuming dishes made from fantasy ingredients, you can accelerate the completion of your dragon cells," the system added.

"Is that so," Sui nodded. "So, what's the ultimate mission in this world?"

"The ultimate mission in the world of 'Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid':

1. Tame five dragons (current progress: 1)

2. Discover ten fantasy ingredients from this world (current progress: 0)

Completing either mission will unlock the door to the next anime world."

"It's easy, but also hard, depending on the situation," Sui muttered, feeling ready for the new challenges ahead.

Just then, the bathroom door opened, and a sleepy Erina, dressed in pajamas, rubbed her eyes. "Sui, are you still not up?"

Her drowsy eyes widened in shock as she saw Tohru hugging Sui tightly on the floor.
