It’s just an arm

As Polemos watched the individual rush towards him he smiled until he saw something that was only written in books and smiled further as his smile turned cold. The individual had decided to raise his scimitar over his head and leap towards Polemos making himself completely vulnerable as he left the ground.

His four companions only smiled as they cheered him on as Secat sighed as she shook her head as she internalized.

'He must be either really confident or blinded by rage or both, looks like he's gonna lose his arm and tongue. Gods Blood is either getting dumber or they allow anyone to join now.'

Polemos just continued to smile as he watched the individual descend while screaming at the top of his lungs.

"DIE, YOU SAVAGE!!!"

Polemos only responded by moving to the left as his opponent neared closer giving him the illusion that he would succeed.

"Poof"

A cloud of sand blocked everyone's vision until an inhuman scream broke the crowd of their suspense. Then the screaming stopped and became muffled.

But the four members of Gods Blood recognized their companions' voices as they tried to rush towards him.

"Third Brother!"

"Third!!!"

"You damn savage!!"

But before they could make it far an angry yet demonic hiss stopped them in their tracks as Rose raised her body, as acid started to drip from her mouth sending bright green liquid to the sands. Then to cement their fear further they heard a cold yet noble voice from behind them as Secat held a flaming spear in her hand ready to throw.

"Like I said before do you really think you can handle my wrath you Gods Piss shits. Take one more step and I'll make sure your insides are burnt to cinders while your asses are pierced by spears."

As the cloud of sand faded Polemos had already sheathed his axe as his hand had an iron grip around Thirds jaw, as he held onto the stump that used to hold his right arm. Warm sticky blood seeped through his fingers as he looked on in fear at the savage who held him.

Polemos only coldly looked into Thirds begging and feared filled eyes as he spoke as a friend would greet another friend.

"What's with that look? It's only an arm Third, I mean you were after my life yet here I am being kind. I should take your life but don't worry I'm a man of my word I just need to take your tongue next, then after that we can all be friends." Polemos finished as he smiled evilly towards the four other Gods Blood members as a look of fear took hold in their eyes and hearts as they stared at the savage who held their Third brother in his grip.

Secat was even a little impressed by Polemos as he said he was a man of his word.

Polemos continued to look up to the other members of Gods Blood as he spoke in a calm voice that sounded eerie.

"Now, give me a few and we can all settle this like men, instead of the children you're acting like. Getting all worked up and scared from little ole Rose, really." Then he looked back towards Third. "Now I'm gonna release my hand from your jaw, if you scream or yell I'll shatter it, and while you scream in agony I'll rip your tongue out so that way you'll learn to keep your mouth shut, ok." He smiled in the end which only made Third piss himself as tears fell from his face.

Polemos slowly released Thirds lower jaw as he whimpered silently as his lower jaw hung open. Polemos smiled as turned Third around to face his companions, as he reached into his mouth and grabbed his tongue. A child-like smile formed across Polemos's face as he looked at the other Gods Blood members.

"Smile."

As he ripped out his tongue a noise that was hard to describe gurgled out of Third's mouth as blood flowed from his mouth. But he stopped pretty quickly as the shock from losing his arm and tongue made his mind snap as he fell forward. Polemos tossed his tongue as he reached down and grabbed Third's severed arm, putting his scimitar into his ring as he tossed the arm to Rose as she gladly ate it. He made a water sphere in order to clean his hands as he looked and smiled at Secat.

"Sorry about all that, I wasn't expecting that at all this morning. They even seemed to ruin the beautiful visage of the oasis as we rode in. Plus that insult was nice."

"What are you talking about, yours was definitely better. Especially the end with that "smile" that was good." Secat smiled as she walked closer, her hips swaying as her dark red hair flowed behind her. "I was a little surprised when I saw a bunch of people running towards the oasis in fear but wasn't expecting to run into this situation. But it was entertaining to watch and be a part of."

Polemos smiled as he walked to meet her, Rose following right behind, ignoring the members of Gods Blood as they stood in utter shock and fear.

"Well sadly it's all over for now. Like I said I'm a man of my word but that doesn't mean I won't be asking for more compensation later from those morons. That's meant for a later date as I made a promise to a friend." Polemos put his hands behind his back as he stood next to Secat as he spoke.

"It's a good thing you are a man of your word-." Secat wasn't able to finish as one of the Gods Blood members yelled in fury.

"Our Gods will hear about this you Amazon Bitch!!" Then pointed towards Polemos as he continued. "You and your damn pet of an insect will wish we had killed you, as our Gods will peel off and eat your flesh and boil your bones."

Secat and Polemos, as if agreed upon earlier, looked at each other and laughed. Secat held her stomach as she bent over while Polemos' eyes turned to crescents.

Rose just raised her body as she looked down upon him as she hissed angrily.

Secat was able to pull herself together as a dark and fiery expression was in her burnt orange-red eyes. As a dense aura of flames started to surround her.

"I'll gladly accept the challenge, you think I'm afraid of your pathetic so-called Gods. They're nothing but spoiled, self righteous pricks who only think with their dicks. And their followers are all like them. I've heard the rumors that many of you are butt buddies including your Gods."

Polemos was on the floor losing his mind in laughter holding his stomach in tears, as the four members of Gods Blood looked like they drank the finest horse manure as they trembled in rage. Rose was still staring down on them in anger.

Polemos quickly tried to collect himself but was having trouble trying not to laugh but was able to call out to Rose to calm her down. While also glancing over to Secat as awe and excitement were in his eyes.

"It's, it's ok Rose, they, they won't do anything, they're too craven anyway."

Rose looked to Polemos as she lowered herself as she still hissed an angry hiss. Still showing she wouldn't ever let these small and pathetic humans forget her anger. She lowered her head to Polemos so he could rub it and help soothe her anger.

When Polemos saw Rose act like that he smiled while he rubbed her head. He looked at Secat as he spoke in an inviting tone.

"Would you like to join, she really seems to enjoy it. Plus could you teach me that mana aura technique you just did?"

Secat was a little surprised by Polemos's questions but smiled as she walked over and reached out to rub Rose's head, but hesitated slightly when she neared her head. But continued as she started to rub Rose's head with a smile.

"She's smooth yet, she's not, it's such an interesting feeling. And when your strength reaches the appropriate stage and you've contributed to the group, I'll teach you personally."

Polemos smiled as he turned to look at the members of Gods Blood but they had already run off, they even remembered to grab Third as they ran. When he saw that they were gone he just silently watched as Secat was enjoying rubbing Rose's head as Rose hissed happily to her touch.

"I remember you said something last night about the armor I wore saying you had business with the one who created it." Secat stopped rubbing Rose's head as she looked to Polemos with a questioning smile on her face as she continued. "Which sounds like a lie as he said that only he and his master were the only ones who knew about it. Or did they lie to me about it?"

"They definitely lied to you about it. It's called lamellar armor, and not only do I know it, I was the one who gave them the idea for it through my friend. But I gotta say if that was a prototype armor then it seemed passable but it looked."

"Bad, and it was extremely uncomfortable to say the least. That damn asshole, he said it was a complete product and was fit for battle. I'm gonna break his damn leg for lying to me." Secat finished what Polemos was trying to say as she swore.

"I got a better idea instead, does the group have a blacksmith?" Polemos asked as an evil-like smile spread across his face.

"Yes, why-?" Secat responded but then remembered he said he was the one who originally gave them the idea for the armor. As she started to smile evilly also.
