Chapter Seven

IN PRINCESS FINA MOTHER'S CHAMBER.

"Mother you don't seem to look bright, what's wrong?" Princess Fina asked her mother as soon as she got into her mother's chamber and saw her mother still laying on the bed, covering her self up with a thick blanket as she lay under the blanket on her bed.

"Am fine Fina, you seem to worry to much, there's nothing there to be panicked about, am just resting" Queen Cinda replied.

"Hmph, I won't accept that mother, if you are fine atleast, you seat up for me to know you are fine"

"Fina, Don't get me wrong, why are you here?" Queen Cinda asked.

"I came to see you, or ain't I allowed to see my mother again" Princess Fina replied.

"Hmph.." Queen Cinda sighed

"You are allowed too, come seat." Queen Cinda pointed at the nearest couch for Fina to take a seat there while she spoked to her.

"Your father has already agreed to marry you off" She spoked calmly, while Princess Fina listened to her, "Although I haven't fully agreed to it, but your father still want the best for you, so he thought it best to allow you get married and leave the castle since he already as a new wife that can possibly bear him a heir."

Princess Fina frowned hearing her mother, "Why should he want me out of this castle, when he has never agreed to it before, and besides, am not interested in marrying any man.mother, marriage isn't by force and I have my stand on this."

"Fina this isn't in position for you to decide, you have already come of age and in marriable age, so you father as already started collecting Proposal from the neighboring Town and kingdom that are interested in marrying you."

"Never mother, I think is best the marriage is cancelled, I don't want it and wouldn't marry anyone, and besides what makes you think the new wife will give him and heir, what if she birth him only daughter's like you did." Princess Fina fumed.

"I won't get married to anyone except I see the man I love" Princess Fina said.

"Okay, let's wait for you father to decide on that first" Queen Cinda said as she coughs.

"Mother are you sure you are fine, you don't seem to look good" Princess Fina said as she went nearer to her mother's side.

"Am fine Fina" Queen Cinda said as she coughs and coughs again seating up on the bed, "Let me get you some water" Fina said as she rushed to fill a glass cup of water and brought it to her mother's side, "Here!" She put the cup in her mother's mouth waiting for her mother to take a sip.

"Am fine" Queen Cinda shifted her lips away from the cup and sat up properly on the bed.

"Mother I will go on now and call the Royal physician to come check on you, untill I confirm you are fine then I can be at rest, for now I can't seem to believe you because you didn't seem to look bright, take good care of yourself and stop worrying about Queen Anna, She's nothing and can never amount to anything to me, I will be back" Princess Fina kissed her mother's cheek and asshe was about to step out she turned back and meet her mother's gaze, "Why isn't there any maids here with you mother? Did you actually send them away?" She asked as she stood beside the door.

"No" Queen Cinda replied not wanting to talk about the maid, Queen Anna as been over requesting ever since she got pregnant, she demands for everything including her own maids, and she doesn't want to quarrel with Queen Anna, so she allowed her take her maids while she does her thing by herself, beside reporting the matter to her husband will only give Queen Anna the upper court to do more evil and make her seem like a bad person, so she ignore and kept quiet, not wanting to tell anyone about it.

"Mother? Should I presume you sent them away or Queen Anna requested of their services, you ain't feeling fine and you need them the most now" Fina said, "Anyways I will ask for a new maid, Take good care of yourself I will go out now and call the Royal physician to come check on you." Then she opened the door and left.

Queen Cinda became quiet for a while, she had been the one forcing her husband to get a new wife, now she's the one receiving all the torture and humiliation for not being able to give him a male son she frowned while she turned to come down from her bed, she has been feeling to weak of latest and she doesn't seem to understand why, she managed to get down and take a seat, as she felt her head was rotating, she calmed using one of her hand to hold her head, while she waited for the Royal physician to arrive.

Princess Fina stepped out from her mother's chambers and went to her step mother Chambers, the guards in front of the door bowed their head low as they saw her approaching, the greeted her and she faintly responded, she asked, "Is my step mother in?"

"Yes your highness" Replied the head guard of her step mother chamber, "Tell her I want to see her, I need to speak to her now and it urgent" Princess Fina said, fuming and trying to calm down her berserk nerve.

The guard sent a maid whom went into her stepmother chamber first to deliver the news.

IN QUEEN ANNA'S CHAMBER

"Greetings My Queen, Princess Fina is here to see you" Said a maid, whom bowed her head low as she knelt in front of Queen Anna, "Allow her in, I wonder what what she want" Queen Anna said as she sat up on her bed, rubbing her hand on her bare stomach, touching her baby bump. The maid went out back to deliver the new to Princess Fina, few minutes later, Princess Fina came in, holding her horsetail by her shoulder, she walked in majestically and stood in front of Queen Anna whom say on her bed glaring at the Princess.

"What do you want Fina?" Queen Anna questioned as she sat on her bed rubbing her stomach.

"Greetings stepmother" Princess Fina greeted her first.

"Don't waste your time Fina, just tell me why you are here and get out" Queen Anna said.

"Well am here to see you, first to know why you collected my mother's main, couldn't you have asked father to get you new maids if your maids wasn't enough for you, why go to mother?" Princess Fina said.

"And how's it your business if choose to take your mother's maid, besides the maids are more experience and I don't owe you or anyone explanation about this, so leave" Queen Anna said, pointing at the door.

"Really, I will by quiet for now, but if you dare to cross paths again, you will have me to contend with" Princess Fina said as she turned wanting to leave, she heard Queen Anna burst out in laughter, "Have you to contend with my foot, what will you do? You can do absolutely nothing about it, so get out!" Queen Anna said pointing at the door.

"Okay we shall see about that" Princess Fina opened the door and left.
