CHAPTER 1 & 2

"Ruby, get ready your suitors are here?" The lady in her mid 30's said as she made her way into the room.

Ruby, her her sadness under a fake smile.

"You look beautiful my dear!" Elizabeth exclaimed as she played with Ruby's brown hair.

"Thank you mum!" She said as she smiled at her.

"Alright come on let's go downstairs!" She then held her daughters hand and help her to stand up from the chair, they then walked outside of the room.

All eyes turned to the stairs as the sound of the shoes kissed the floor loudly, as the queen descended from the stairs looking as beautiful as ever, she went to her husband and pecked his lips.

"Where is Ruby?" The man asked.

"Oh she is coming, right.....this... minute!" As soon as she said that Ruby descended from the stairs like an angel she was and all eyes turned to her.

She was wearing a beautiful Blue ball gown,with different hues of blue shining as the light kissed the dress gently.

A beautiful golden embroidery on her dress, and a corset at the back with accented her curves, making her look rather ravishing.

Her hair was braid into French braids with a few strands left to fall on her face, she was on light makeup making her look ethereal.

Her father watched with his mouth agape.

"You look gorgeous my dear!"

"Oh thank you Father!"

"Is this girl I am to marry?" Prince Yevon asked as he adored her beauty.

"Yes son as long as her dad agrees to the alliance she will be yours!"

Yevon them licked his lips and rubbed his hands together and walked to her and held her hand.

"Hello beautiful!"

"Hi!" She said as he kissed the back of her palm, she then smiled nervously at him as he lead the way.

"So what are we gonna gain from this union?" King Uriel, the father of Yevon asked.

"It's not a profit or bargain, it is a union of two people, two kingdoms, there is unity in diversity!" George said

"Yeah sure what ever as long as my son is happy then there isn't a problem!" Uriel said as he clinked cups with George and took a sip enjoying the party.

HEAVEN'S~ GATE

"Sire!!...please don't do this to me!" Asher pleaded as he pushed out of the heavens by the creator of all things God.

"You have failed, you have been banished for eternity!"

"Please master you can't do this!"

"The only way you can redeem yourself for this abominable crime is to protect Elphina, she must not suffer any humanly harm until when she is ready to come to heaven!"

"I'll do it!"

God snapped his fingers and Asher appeared on earth, he looked around and touched his back, his wings were gone, he couldn't fly anymore.

He then sighed and ruffled his hair.

How is he supposed to protect and angel that he hasn't seen before??, where would she be??, she didn't even know her human name!

These thoughts filled his mind until a lady appeared in his back and pulled his ear.

"Asher why are you stupid??, I told you to wash the dishes and yet you didn't wash them?"

"I don't understand, I'm not anyone's servant!" He said confused.

"I guess you lack sense, and your brain fell of as you went to fetch water from the well!"

"Why all the insults?"

"Are you seriously asking me that!!!!"

"Do as you are told if you don't want me to disown you!" She added and he sighed an went ot the kitchen to wash the dishes.

"Idiot!!" She exclaimed as she entered the tartared house and started cleaning it.

~ASTORIA, LATER THAT DAY**

"So how was your date with Yevon? Does he seem like your type?"her mum asked

"No actually, we didn't click with each other, he was this proud guy always telling me how he would make a great king and other stuff like that!"

Elizabeth then bit her lips slightly, she thought if it was time to tell her the truth but decided not to and left the room after tucking her in for bed.

She went to her room as lay on her side of the bed trying to catch some sleep, before she slowly drifted to sleep.

≈ELIZABETH'S DREAM~

"Your husband will die, Xenia!" A demonic voice sounded in Xenia's mind.

"Who are you!??, how dare you call me that name??"

"Isn't it your name?, aren't you an angel?"

"And so, what do you want to do?"

She then appeared in the real world a black demon, its body was inanimate and covered In black smoke was in her room.

"What are you doing here?"

"I've come, time is up!"horror washed over Elizabeth's face.

"You made a deal with me and your time is up!" The voice added.

"No it can't be now, it's not 18 years yet!"

Immediately her husband rose fr the bed, and his body was trembling, he wast awake but Elizabeth could tell the kind of dream he was having.

"Stop it put him down!!" She yelled but her screams fell on deaf ears.

"If you interfere....I'll kill you as well!!" The demon threatened as he looked at her with blood red eyes.

His body started becoming thinner, the air in his body was leaving him, his ribs were very clear.

Balls of tears fell from her eyes, there was nothing she could do, she had made a deal with the devil.

Elizabeth woke up with beads of sweat on her forehead.

"Oh it was a nightmare!" She managed to breath out before she stood up and turned to her husband and hugged him tight for support but he didn't hug her back.

His body was stiff and cold, she shaked his body but he didn't move she then stood up form the bed and walked to his side and looked at him and gasped she saw a terrifying scene.

His face as pale as ever as his eyes were out of its sockets and his body lacking flesh and its vibrant colour, his beautiful blue eyes now grey.

His soul was sucked away.

"Aaaahhhhhhhhhh!!" She screamed calling the attention of the guards outside.

"What is it ma'am?"

"My queen what's the problem?"

They all stopped at their tracks as they saw their king laying lifeless on the bed.

"My husband he is...dead!" She said with hot tears falling from her eyes.

She needs to tell her daughter the truth before it was too late.

She walked to her daughters room and saw that she wasn't there

"Where is my daughter?" She asked the maid she saw in her room.

"She said she wants to think, she went out for some fresh air!"

"Fresh air!!!!....her life is in danger!!!"

"So you know where she is??" She added.

"I'm sorry ma'am I don't!!"

"Oh no no no!!" She said all as her crying intensified.

UP ON A LOW HILL**

Ruby sat on the hill as the morning breeze kissed her hair slightly moving it in its direction.

"Peace!" She said as she breathed in.

She the saw a boy, who came to up to her with tears streaming from his eyes.

"What happened to you dear?" She asked as she stood up from the spot she sat and stood close to the boy tapping his shoulder, squatting to his level.

"My mum, she is sick!"

"Oh have you called the Local healer?"

"I have but she is quite busy please help us I can't live without my mummy please!" He said as tear threatened to fall from his eyes.

"Okay take me to your house!"

"Thank you my queen!"

She the followed him and walked to a hut the lady, she was so weak, her body pale and her spirit leaving her slowly.

She immediately squatted it her level and touched the lady's body, she was cold.

"Are you sure you have called all the healers?" She asked her hand still on the lady, all of a sudden she coughed and sat up on the bed, her body fresh and young.

"Mummy!!!" The boy exclaimed as he hugged his mother tightly.

The lady hugged him back and looked at the princess with joy in her eyes and tears clouding her vision.

"How can I repay you?"

She was still lost In thought, how did I do that? She asked herself.

"I'm your princess it's what I do!" She replied after and made her way to the door.

A man looked from an alley way and said

"I've found you princess!" With a sly smile plastered on his face.
