Chapter 110: Too Late

Rion breathe deeply before opening his eyes, the couple of weeks felt like a dream him and Clarence confessions of their feelings brought a great deal of happiness and hope to him and his baby but despite the almost perfect situation they have been in, they still need to face the reality, the path that Rion chose for himself. He looked at the people inside the court room, the judges, the juries, the lawyers and a whole lot of different people inside. "Mrs. Gonzales aren't you just working for the Valentino's 2 years before the scandal broke out?"

"Yes, I have." The witness answered.

"How many years has it that you say you have been working there?" The dependant's lawyer asked.

"23 years, I have been working there for 23 years."

"I see, how would you feel when the management suddenly decided to terminate your employment?"

"They didn't terminate my employment, I quit." The witness answered.

"If you really are saying that you quit then why wait for 23 years? Or was it the fact that they terminate you is the real reason why after all these years you have stayed in that company for that long and if it weren't for the Valentino's deciding to end your employment you would have stayed far more longer."

"Objection your honor Attorney Wright is badgering the witness."

"Sustained." The judge said.

"No, I will answer, I admit that I stayed longer because I need money. Most of the people working for that company came from nothing and if you are someone from nothing and was presented with an opportunity to give your family a brighter future you will blindly choose to work for that even at the expense of those innocent people. I have witness a lot of things working there. I have covered my eyes and ears in the name of money but as I grew older and as I witness more and more Omegas they are bringing in my guilt slowly eats me up so I quit. I quit but the price for quiting comes high. You can't leave the group unscathed, I have witness far a lot too much and I'm still young to quit they held my son as a hostage for me to keep working and when I didn't listen my son, my Omega son." The man broke down to tears. "They, they put him, they put him to that horrible place, gave him a lot of drugs and throw him to those hungry pack of wolves. They broke my son. Other parents might despise their Omega child but me, my wife and my other alpha children treat my one and only Omega child with so much love." The man breath in and breath out before continuing. "They threatened me and my family that if I'll ever say anything about the operation they will kill me and my family and they will put my Omega child to that dirty place again."

Everyone in the court room became silent. "I know a lot of things, I have witness a lot of things. I know Raven and all the dirty play he had with the Omega commodity of his father even his favorite toy, I know Rion Dunst because I was the one who took him to Mr. Witchburn every single time he asked for the boy and I was also the one who took him to an abortion clinic.

Rion was surprised, he was too young back then to remember the faces so he wasn't expecting that the witness that Aiden and Terrence are saying which Axel found was that man.

"It was with Mrs. Witchburn's instructions, she found out that her husband is going crazy over an Omega boy which is a commodity of their business." The witness continued.

"Mr. Gonzales do you realize that without proof....."

"There's a DNA test for the baby, Mr. Witchburn asked when he found out that the boy is expecting. The DNA came back positive. Mr. Witchburn doesn't want the baby but the reason for the DNA is to make sure that no other men is using his toy. He asked me to put that DNA result to a place where his wife can easily find to make sure that it will be his wife who will get rid of the problem. That DNA test can proved that Vladimir Witchburn had a sexual relationship with Rion Dunst."

"Ok, I need you to bring me the DNA test results and I will ask my team to run a DNA test between Mr. Dunst and Mr. Victor Witchburn to see the eligibility of the DNA test."

Another trial has passed Rion felt like he was being dragged to that time when everything was miserable for him. His very first abortion, he still doesn't understand things well back then because he was still too young but he knew a part of his body was ripped off after that operation. He begged even though he couldn't understand but still they took it away from him and just a month after the abortion Vladimir is back in ramming his things inside him. Rion couldn't take the memories and throw up inside the court room, good thing that the hearing was already finished. Terrence helped Rion.

"Are you ok?" Rion nodded after rinsing his mouth with water. "It's normal, my wife was like that when he's having Thirdy." Terrence said with a smile comforting Rion.

"It's my first time, my pregnancies didn't really last, I aborted them soon as they or I found out so I never really experience things as this." Rion whispered.

"Are you sure you won't regret your decision?" Terrence asked.

Rion shake his head no. "He said he loves me and that he won't leave me and I'll hold on to that."

"He didn't even waste time he marked you faster than I thought." Terrence chuckle.

Rion trace his nape covered with plaster, he's not ready to show the people yet, he doesn't want to be asked on who marked him as much as possible he doesn't want to drag Clarence. "Your belly will start showing soon and people will eventually knows about it."

"It's ok, I don't have any plans in hiding my pregnancy it's just I don't want them to know who the father is." Rion explained.

"An alpha who sees their Omega in distress will jump right to the battle to fight for their mate so I highly doubt that Clarence will stand still. He's been asking me none stop about your trial. His mind should be at work and not wondering else where." Terrence laughed. "You have a very nice necklace."

"He, he gave this to me, he said it was from his mother's." Rion answered. "Can I ask you?"

Terrence looked at the Omega. "Sure what is it?"

"Do you think I made the right decision in starting a relationship with Clarence?" Rion asked.

"Hey of course, you deserve to be loved too. Don't think any less of yourself."

"Thank you." Terrence re-assurance put Rion's mind at ease. "By the way how did you know about Mr. Gonzales."

"Terrence just gave him a playful smile.

5 WEEKS AGO...

"I'm sorry my house is a little bit in a mess right now." Axel said. "What brought you here Sir?

The man looked at his guests and then looked at him again. "It seems we came at a very wrong time." The man said.

"No worries we are just about to leave." Nicolas said.

"No, don't bother." Raven said calmly.

"Ow by the way this is Mr. Valentine he is one of the members of the board."

Axel looked at Nicolas and Theo. "Would it be ok if you two step out for a while?" There's a cafe just two blocks away."

"Yes of course, just call us ok?" Nicolas and Theo went out.

"What's his name?" Raven suddenly asked.

"I'm sorry?" Axel asked in response.

"The boy with a dark curl hair and a tan skin what's his name?" Axel's heart pound.

"I'm sorry Sir but he's marked already." Axel can see the sexual desire in the man's eyes.

"I don't mind, I had sex with a marked and pregnant Omega in the pass and about two marked Omegas who have partners. They pretty much open their legs once you throw them money." Raven went silent for a moment before continuing. "He's pretty and his features is not something you commonly see in this country. I'll pay you big if you can set both of us to meet."Raven continuesly said without a break. "Even if he's marked he won't say no once I have given him things that he won't be able to experience and buy."

"I'm sorry but he's off limits, he just gave birth to a twin and he very much love his husband so please just look for another Omega Sir." Axel said.

The man walk towards him and lean his face closer. "You're very pretty too, how about you?"

Jules who can here everything is holding himself back from smashing the daylight out of the man.

"I don't mind." Axel said. "But are you ok with a beta?"

"You don't look like a beta." Raven tried to sense his pheromones but he can't sense anything. "You look more of an Omega, a very beautiful one." Raven without warning released his pheromones but Axel didn't react. Raven who's not satisfied suddenly pulled the shirt on Axel's nape to see any bite mark but he saw nothing but a beautiful tattoo with something written on it. He tried to read what was written. "Jules who is he?" Raven asked.

Jules is listening waiting for his wife's response. "My beloved, was it written there? that he is my beloved."

"Pity I don't do beta, I'm assuming things didn't work out with how openly agreed to sleep with me if I'm into betas."

"Alphas always wanted a strong alpha beside them, not a beta and most certainly not an Omega. So what business do you want to discuss Sir?" Axel asked.

"Collin here has been recommending you for a while now. He said you're an efficient worker, works really fast and clean. I will cut to the chase. I want you to transfer and hide all the money pointing our companies involvement with the trafficking issue and our relationship with the Firerise. I want it done cleanly even before the investigation reach that far. So can you do it?"

Axel's eyes lighten up at the offer. "Yes of course that's just an easy peasy job."

"Well then starting tomorrow you will starting working for me." Raven said before turning his back but then he stopped only to kiss Axel. "Not a single trace of an Omega pheromones, pity such a fine delicacy and yet it is not compatible with me. How about that friend of yours?" Raven asked once again.

"He's off limits you touch him and I won't take the job." Axel said.

"I don't think you are in any position to make a threat here." Raven said.

"Sir you're the one who is in need of my skills and I believe that skill can save your ass." Axel said with a playful smirk. It was the first time Collin saw his employee act like that.

"I like your employees attitude." Raven finally left the apartment and the moment the door closed Jules rush to Axel's side he tried to kiss Axel like a child throwing a tantrum but Axel covered his lips.

"Nope I know you can sense his pheromones on my lips. Wait here sweety and be a good boy." Axel went to the bathroom and after 15 minutes of waiting Axel came out only to kiss Jules. "Don't be jealous." Axel said after the kiss.

"You agreed to sleep with him." Jules said pouting.

"I studied his profile and he's not sleeping with betas. I know he wouldn't want to so I provoked him with that so he won't get any suspicious of me. I promised didn't I? That I will no longer sleep with any person other than my husband."

"You better keep that promise or else I'll kill that man." Axel jumped and Jules catched him, the two continued where they left off and start kissing deeper and deeper till Axel can no longer contain it and just want to unwrapped his own husband.

"Ahem ahem....." A sound of someone coughing made both of them stopped what their doing. "In case you are forgetting, we are still here." Dexter reminded while he hold his sleeping baby to his arms.

Jules looked at him, Aiden and Drake. Axel on the other hand got off of his own husband.

"You all need a lot of talking and explaining to do." Drake suddenly said. "I'm calling the others. Aiden, Dexter and the two couple forgot about Raven and the case and the whole spying in disguise thing that Axel do.

They all explained the situation as simple as it should, leaving the details about the true identity of Terrence, Jules and Axel but the rest they told them even the plan. "Ok, ok we do understand now." Nicolas said.

"Should we tell to Taekyun about today's incident?" Drake asked, then he looked at Theo. "Why are you always getting hit on?"

"Yeah this is the second time." Everyone agreed.

"I-I don't know." Theo said shyly.

"No wonder Taekyun was so anxious about you before, now I get the picture." Aiden said.

"Let's tell Taekyun, that way we will be able to avoid what happened to me." Chester suddenly said, he has been quiet since the whole time that Raven came in and went out of Axel's apartment. "I know him, if he wants it he will try to dig into it, know his prey, find it's weakness and use it against him. I don't want Theo to experience same thing I did."

"Does he have something to hide?" Everyone in the room who knew went silent. They know how hard it was for Theo to open up to them about his past, so it is not something they can openly discuss.

"I was forced to have sex with every alphas and betas to the school I previously went to. When they found out I was an Omega I became the schools official sexual reliever. I was label as the slut campus." Theo said. "All that happened before I even met Lee and Taekyun. Lee and Terrence knew but not my husband and that's where all the conflict and misunderstanding happened because I didn't tell him and he happened to know from someone."

"Can you tell me all the details? I'll track any record and evidence that it ever happened and I will hide it. You will be spotless clean but I agree with Chess we need to tell your husband about this." Theo nodded in agreement.

BACK TO THE PRESENT...

Jeffrey almost crashed the whole room, the case is not in their favor and now that the new witness arise involving the late founder Vladimir it only put them on edge.

Robbie pick up his personal phone which he rarely used only during emergency. He dialed a number who he only calls when needed. "I need your help, I can't sneak out so can you attend an important meeting with the Montero's?"

(What's new? Is he throwing another tantrums again?) Said the voice from the other line.

"Yes and this time it is really bad."

(Good thing I'm a very very reliable sibling or else no one would handle your affairs for you.)

"You don't want people to know so I think that's ok." Robbie said.

(It's ok for me to pretend to be you business wise but it's not ok for me to pretend to be you during missions. I can't stand that Jeffrey bitch! I'm an Omega but I don't act like an Omega who's always in heat.)

"That's why I own you big time Robin."

(No need to get cheesy over this just, do your job over there and I'll handle your affairs over here.)

"Why not come out? Our parents have been begging you to come out. Ever since you find out that you are an Omega...."

(An Omega can inherit our Parents business, an Omega can't lead. No one wanted to follow an Omega.)

"Say that to them when they can't even tell the difference between us two." Robbie retorted.

(That's exactly the point they follow because they thought I was you. Anyways this talk is getting no where, I made up my mind there will be no Omega in this family of alphas. I won't be the one to bring shame to the family.)

"When do you plan to settle down?" Robbie immediately change the topic.

(I still haven't found my fated pair yet.)

"You're still into that mindset?" Robbie asked.

(No Alpha would love an Omega truly.)

"You'll never know about it."

(When have you seen an Omega married to Alpha not because of their money or status? I'm hanging up now, I still need to prepare to fix myself to look like you. Take good care there you need to go home in one piece.)

The call ended just like that, he's hesitating to say that he has fallen for an Omega when he doesn't know his own feelings. If he will base to the people around him, his boss is an Omega who's love can't be reciprocated, while his friends who he hasn't seen a long time are both married or in love to Omegas whom he just met. He doesn't know even know if it's only temporary since the marriage is just recent and the other one is still couldn't make up his mind. Robbie sigh he get what his sister just told him, right Robin is a woman who has a very masculine aura around her. She hates it when others look down on her for being an Omega so she doesn't show it.

"Where is he?" Adrian is getting agitated every passing days that he's not getting any news regarding Nash. "I have been asking you for a week now and you can't still find him? How is that even possible?!" He keeps on pacing back and forth, he's getting really scared it's like what happened before but this time he really can't find him, even with his mother's help they couldn't find Nash. "I need his location by tomorrow, you understand?!" After the call Adrian throw his phone, it shattered into pieces the moment it hit the wall. Reality is starting to sink in to him, all the sacrifices he's making will be for nothing if Nash isn't with him, he was confident when he learned that someone was courting Nash he believes that Nash won't replace him for that man. Even during that time that Nash and that guy became together he knows that he's just using the guy but things got a little complicated when Nash vanished together with that guy. "What choice do I have, I just want you to understand. If we go against my family they wouldn't let us live in peace. I can't give you a decent life because they will take away my inheritance and they will make sure that I won't land another job. They even threatened you. I just want what's best for you and for the both of us." Adrian cried, he cried so much, after staying in that position for an hour he decided to get up. He went to his car and drive to the only place where his heart feel at ease. He went inside the columbarium, before he goes there almost everyday hoping Nash would come to visit but not once he ever saw him there so now he goes there to calm his mind and heart and to talk to his child, a child who was not given a chance to see the world all because of his bad decisions. "Hey baby, Daddy is here again." Adrian light two candles and place flowers. "I hope you don't get sick of me." Adrian laugh. "Your mother still hates me. I did promise to bring him here with me but I think that will take a while." Adrian seated on the floor. "I'll be here a little longer would that be ok with you? Can you stay with Daddy and listen to me talking?" Adrian said. "I deeply regret it, I promised to protect him against my family and I assured him that I will take good care of him even if he gets pregnant and here you came and I failed to do everything I said I would." Adrian wipe the tears from his face. "But what can I do, if I break free I wouldn't be able to give you both a good life. You mother's life would be in danger."

"That wouldn't had happened if only you asked for our help and did not made your own decisions back then." Adrian look to the direction where the voice is. "Terrence, how can you help when you know nothing."

"Precisely we your friends who are your family too knows nothing even up to now. It's not that you're afraid of not being able to give them a good life, it is more like you're afraid of living a hard life Adrian. If you told us we would have helped you get back on your feet. That's what friends are for." Terrence seated beside him.

"Look at me, I was able to break free and yet my family still enjoys a good life." Zeejay raise the cans of beers.

"It's not allowed to drink in here." Adrian said.

"Yeah but I'm a friend of the owner of this place and he agreed just for this night. Ow by the way Lance will be late he has a dinner meeting with a business partner."

"You have to admit it pal." Zeejay said it again.

"It's not that bad living a normal life." Terrence said.

"Agreed!" All three said, then Terrence and Zeejay both looked at Lee.

"You never experienced hard life you moron!" Terrence kick Lee.

"But seriously what's your real problem, bare all your concerns here." Terrence said.

"We won't be able to help you if you won't tell us." Lee seconded.

"My mother threatened Nash's life. I do admit I got scared living a normal hard life but I'm more afraid of anything that can happen to Nash." Adrian drank the whole can in one go. "You see you can't help me with that." Adrian laugh bitterly.

"You should have told." Terrence said.

"Terrence...." Lee warned about him spilling his secrets.

"I know someone who can help, if only you told us. He can protect Nash."

"What's the point it's too late now, I maybe won't be able to see him again." Adrian sob, he cried like a child a broken child.

"I know where Nash is." Adrian's face light up. "but I can never tell you."

"But why? I thought you said you will help me?" Adrian asked, he's now full in confusion. His heart is pounding harder and harder in each passing seconds that Terrence is not saying anything.

"You're too late now Adrian." It was Lee who broke the silence. "Nash is married and he's now expecting to have a baby."

Adrian's world crumbled down. He thought he still have a chance to fix things, to convince Nash to his plans but how can it be when he's already married but denial thought keeps on popping out to his mind. "There's a divorce he can divorce that fucker, about the baby I can be it's father, I won't treat the baby any different, I will treat it as my own." Adrian said with a sad smile but Zeejay and the rest of his friends keep shaking their heads no.

"He's happy now. I know it's hard to accept seeing the person you love happy in the arms of another person but you brought this to yourself. I already warned you but you didn't listen." Lee said.

"Tell me, I'm begging you." Nash kneeled in front of his friends and bowed his head to the floor.

"Don't do this Adrian." Zeejay is trying to make Adrian stand up.

"I won't approach him or his family not even his husband or his kid just please, please I'm begging you. I'm begging you."

"Adrian... You have to let him go. You hurt him so much you can't blame him if he tries to find happiness from someone else who can give it to him." Terrence said.

"Please I just want to know."
