"T-that's it?" Hecate stammered in bewilderment. "You came all the way here, a place filled with beings stronger than you, just for me to teach you magic?" She would be flattered if that wasn't so stupid.

"You make it seem like some kind of unthinkable decision," Ghidorah growled. "You are the Titan of Magic, are you not? The same woman who created thousands of spells and can even put a stopper in death?" He asked rhetorically.

Hecate nodded and went to speak but Ghidorah spoke up first. "Besides, you can help me with another venture of mine. One that would help with your believer problem."

The Titan of the moon took a second to register his words. The normally calm and composed woman just couldn't handle all of these revelations at once. When she did, her irritation was palpable.

"Tch, you could have started with that, blasted evil dragon." Hecate cursed in a whisper. Something that Ghidorah heard judging by the smirk on his faces.

But she still didn't understand how he could help her. With her dwindling following, she would soon lose her longevity and be no more than a mere human. The fate of all divine beings who get forgotten. So, how could Ghidorah, a dragon who has no such worries, help her gain worshippers?

"Unless..." Hecate let out in realization. "You wish to build your own religion."

The mere implication of that sentence filled Hecate with dread and excitement. A dragon being worshipped was not unheard of. However, one that accepted the power that comes from such an action is virtually unheard of.

"I knew you were smart, Hecate." Ghidorah praised. "Join me and become my priest. Use me as a symbol of fear and dread to cow the masses and gather their worship. If you do, your former power will be a pale imitation of your future self."

His words struck true. Hecate has been dreaming of such an opportunity for a long time. To reclaim her former power and show those godlings the power of a Titan. But this was far beyond anything she could have ever imagined.

He could do it too, she has seen how much he has grown even when devouring high-class monsters. If he got his hands on an ultimate or god-class being, she knew that there would be no stopping him. So, creating a faction is well within reason.

But it was more than that to Ghidorah. The whole reason he is seeking the power of the gods is to remedy his energy problem. For if he can call upon his followers' power then he will not have to devour things all the time.

Allowing him to focus his efforts on hunting bigger prey that will actually be beneficial for his evolution

"That is a lot to take in..." Hecate broke the momentary silence before realizing she never got the dragon's name.

"It's Ghidorah." He supplied. "And I am not asking you to make the choice now. After all, you will have plenty of time to think over it when teaching me magic." he reminded.

Hecate couldn't help but sigh at that. The drastic difference between his two objectives was like heaven and earth.

...

"This entire time you have been using something called aura." Hecate identified. Both of them are now hidden within a large cave that the Titan calls home.

Which is quite convenient for Ghidorah. As Hecate can stay inside her house made of logs while Ghidorah built his own nest on a ledge within the cliff. While still having enough room to be comfortable thanks to this cave being quite large. Around 50ms tall and just as wide.

"Which is normally used as a layer of protection by most races but it is different for dragons like you. The main example of this is their fire breath which is shaped and created by their unique physiology. Your version of this is that... yellow ray thing." Hecate looked at him for a name.

"Gravity Beams." Ghidorah waved on.

She nodded. "Now, to learn magic you need to create a magic circle. Which will allow you to focus your power to shape and manipulate it to your will and imagination. After that, we can start learning spells." She explained as she summoned a large scroll before rolling it out on the floor.

Written upon it was what seemed like magic circles but Ghidorah noticed that there was something more than that to it. Something almost... instinctive.

"Once again, your race has made everything easier." Hecate scowled at him in mock annoyance before pointing at one of the magic circles on the scroll. "These are called Dragon Gates. They are unique to dragons, hence the name, and all dragons have one. This one, in particular, belongs to Y Ddraig Goch himself."

Now that got Ghidorah's attention. "Wait. Is Ddraig alive?" He needed to make sure.

Hecate slowly nodded her head with a look of puzzlement across her face. Thinking it was a trick question. "Of course he is. I highly doubt that anyone besides Shiva or the Biblical God could kill The Red Dragon Emperor. However, he has been asleep for many generations since his last fight with Albion. He may wake soon enough, though."

After telling him that, Hecate did not like the huge smile that made its way across Ghidorah's faces. She wondered if he was actually thinking of challenging the dominator. A foolish action, she thought. Not knowing that Ghidorah was going to achieve far greater feats in the future.

After getting a nod, she continued her lesson. "Dragon gates exist within a dragon since birth and it is up to them to figure out its shape. When done, they not only have access to the perfect magic circle for them but a way to access a lesser dimensional gap that allows them to travel anywhere they want."

This all sounded too good to be true and it was. "However, dragon gates come with weaknesses. As a powerful entity can draw a dragon's Dragon Gate and summon that dragon forcefully. Along with the dimensional space being open to all dragons, meaning that you have a low chance of running into another dragon while there."

'That's not a bad trade-off. Being able to go anywhere is quite the power even if I ran into another dragon. Yet, I will have to be wary of that summoning thing. It seems, that might have been one of the reasons that dragons are mostly killed off by canon.' Ghidorah thought.

In the end, the powerful will always be feared by the weak, and in their fear, they scheme ways to dethrone the strong. For that is the fate of those that stand above. As even the powerful dragon emperors can get killed with enough armies.

The same can be said for the Dragon Kings. They all are bound by the factions, in some way shape, or form. They work for them and are rewarded by gaining grand titles while other powerful dragons that won't bend their knee are called Evil Dragons.

They are demeaned by the masses and were even hunted down until all but one was killed. Even though they are stronger than the Dragon Kings. Even so, Ghidorah has no problem with the Dragon Gate's weakness. Especially when he knows it exists.

'If they wish to use it against me, then they are welcome to do so. They can use all the tricks they want and I will still slaughter them like sheep in the end.'

Lowering his heads to Hecate's height, Ghidorah asked. "How do I access it?"

Hecate deadpanned at his lack of reaction but quickly told him. "A dragon's Dragon Gate symbolizes what they are at their core. Thus, you can find it by looking into your soul and finding out what makes you... you."

Nodding, Ghidroah close his eyes and did as told. Trying to search within himself and soon found nothing. Absolutly nothing. He was surrounded by darkness and it took him far longer than he would ever admit to realize why.

Ghidorah is the void. An all-consuming beast that devours world after world with its endless hunger. The most obvious proof of this is the strongest iteration of the Original: Void God Ghidorah. As such, the new Ghidorah would share that status.

With that understanding, Hecate watched as the Dragon Gate manifested in front of Ghidorah. Forming a golden magic circle that held 21 lines within it. Before they were shaped into a heptagon that completed the array.

Hecate stared in awe at the pure power it released. Solidifying her earlier thoughts of him being an Evil Dragon on the rise. With how young he is, he could surpass all of them. And that just makes his ambition all the more plausible in her eyes.

"You were right about it being easy, teacher." Ghidorah commented after opening his eyes.

She hmphed at his words. "Dragons are beings of power. A normal magic circle would be ill-suited for your kind. Just like how divine beings do not need one thanks to our domains already existing in the world."

Ghidorah would always find the contrast between Gods and Dragons interesting. Dragons: an invasive species that forces its will upon creation. And Gods: beings who exist to support the creation and keep various aspects of it alive and functioning. A truly fascinating phenomenon.

His attention was drawn back to Hecate when she summoned thousands of scrolls that were so numerous they towered above Ghidorah. A feat that caused Ghidorah to step back in worry. Which was only strengthened by the look on Hecate's face.

"Now that the means are out of the way, we can now focus on the ends." Her smile made Ghidorah regret messing with her earlier. "Here is every spell I have created. 10'439 of them to be exact. While you learn them I will be thinking over your proposal."

Oh, how the tables have turned. Even if she wasn't really getting back at him, as he would most likely learn all of them even if she had rejected his offer, it was still good to see the look of dismay that crossed his face.

He would be here for a while, he had no doubt. However, one thing that all dragons have plenty of is time.
