The Training Begins

"It's been 4 years passed since that day...i lost my everything there....all i had".

"Dad i'm ho-" Shinjiro

"thud" The bag drops and a tear fell from his eyes. He started crying.

"Dad, Wake up ! Dad please"

His dad was lying on the ground and blood was flowing from his chest

"I'm 18 now. How the 4 years passed away i don't even know...but i wonder there was 2 cups of tea in the room. Who was the second person in the room ? The Murderer ? But why will my dad served him tea.... Who knows ?"

"It's the day Shinjiro ! It's the day they are finally selecting some people they will train to become one of the bearer of the Kitsune mask" Daniel said

"...huh?" Shinjiro

"Don't be so filthy. Only who passes the training can bear the Kitsune mask.. maybe you don't even pass." Lily with a smirk smile.

"what do you mean huh ? Do you think i can't even pass the training." Daniel

"of course, yes"

Daniel getting angry

"Just stop it jerks -" Shinjiro

"What happened ? why you stopped ?" Daniel

"What's happening there ?" Shinjiro

They looked towards and saw a crowd standing aside the bulletin board. They rushed towards the bulletin board.

"Side please- ughh" Shinjiro

"Sid- side" Lily

They somehow reached the board and saw a letter saying -

Yesterday was the saddest day in history. We lost our Void and Mountain Kitsune bearers by an unknown demon. The demon attacked the Makubetsu town and they are moving to Nagaizumi. We only have 3 Kitsune bearers in our town. King announced that every student in our town 16+ have to come to training. The one who don't come will be punished. King also give a tribute to the Void and Mountain Kitsune bearers. The people survived in the attack said that unknown demon was no ordinary demon but he was giving commands to the other demons and he was the one who killed the Void and Mountain Kitsune bearers.... But it's all rumor for now and it's not been confirmed.

"We are all dead !!" a person in the crowd said.

Everyone started panicking.

"Stop it !" A voice came from roof of the house aside the bulletin board.

"Hey see it's the Wind Kitsune !" A person said

He jumped down from the roof and said "Stop it ! We our giving the best we could to protect the town. We are not losing ! If you have decided we lost so... i can't do nothing with that. It's your problem." He started to going but then he turned back and said " Hey, You three come with me."

"We ?" Daniel

"Yes you !" he said

Daniel gulped

We started walking by the streets along the river. It was a nice view the sky was clear blue and the clouds were floating happily. The river flow was normal like 4 years ago. The birds were chirping. It was a mid-Summer time. Sun was at top of our heads shining bright. All was going go-

"Could you stop that ?" The wind Kitsune asked

"Stop what ?" Shinjiro said

"Stop thinking so much !"

"huh ?"

"I can read you mind what you thinking so please stop."

"hmm okay"

"4 years ago you were here. I know what happened to your dad. I'm sorry for that i can't help you then." the wind kitsune said

"It's not your problem. You helped me with that demon after all." Shinjiro said

"Ughhh ! It's so boring. Where are we even going ?" Lily asked

"We our going on the camp for training."

"what ?!" Daniel said

We finally reached after 1 and a half hour of walking.

"I can't walk more... my leg's gonna break." Daniel

"I don't think you will be able to bear any Kitsune mask" The Wind Kitsune said

"No ! I will. I could still walk for 12 hours more."

"Don't worry we reached."

"Awww thank god."

There were at least 30 or more people-

"38" Wind Kitsune said

"huh ?" Shinjiro

"You were thinking so loud again and there are 38 people including you all it's 41."

"Stop reading my mind !"

We finally reached then the wind kitsune asked us to make rows i was in 4th from front. Daniel and Lily were standing aside me. A lady in Spirit Kitsune mask asked " would you come to me one by one". Everyone was confused then the Wind Kitsune told that she will check our spirits by that she could know what is our feeling and in our mind. It's more likely she want to peek in our mind.

"Good, next... hmm.. exciting.. you are a nice person Daniel."

"Thank you" Daniel

Next was Lily

"Good.. You could be a forest or music Kitsune bearer in future"

"Thank you" Lily

And finally it was my turn. She touched me suddenly she started shaking and sweating.

"Is there a problem" Shinjiro

"No. Good next"

"Thank you"

Everyone got there turn but still something-

"Don't think so loud." The Wind Kitsune said "You spiritual therapy is done now you training shall begin. The first one to reach that Mountain that is 1500 meter tall will be... the... winner ?... yeah the winner of the first day."

"hmm that doesn't suit well but still." The spirit Kitsune said

"When i say go you shall start. 1....2....GO !"

That was an awkward start but still everyone started climbing it was tall but not much so three started by just walking on the mountain road.

"It's just too much for the first day." Lily said

"Yeah it's true but still." Shinjiro said

At the camp -

The door closes "thud"

The Spirit Kitsune "They all are good students maybe at least 2-3 will-"

"You are hiding something. When that boy come you were shaking. What do you saw ?" The Wind Kitsune said

"Just a normal boy."

"No you are lying, I can see you mind."

"These winds are annoying these days."

"I'm asking you something ! What do you saw ?!"

"A...A Demon..."

Meanwhile at the mountain -

"Side side side" A boy rushed towards the mountain yellow hair with a big smile.

"ugh, what are you doing ?" Shinjiro

"Don't you see i'm trying to win the race." the boy said

"Now the fight begins." Daniel said to Lily

"Who even are you ?" Shinjiro

"I'm Charles." the boy said

"Charles the garbage man ?"

"UGHhh, you are so annoying. I'm out" Charles said

"Loser !" Shinjiro said

After walking for 10 - 15 minutes a sound come from top of the mountain.

"AAAaaaaaaaaaaahhhh!!!"

"What was that ?" Shinjiro said

"Let's check it out" Lily

When we went to the top of the mountain we saw Charles was sweating and shaking.

"What happened garbage man ?" Shinjiro said

"Th...the...there..look....look there" Charles

"What ther-" Shinjiro

There was a Demon eating a student hand and the student was lying aside all covered in blood.

"Charles go tell the teachers about this !" Lily said

"Okay" Charles in a scared voice

"We have to do something or he will die." Shinjiro

I went straight ahead and bashed the demons head straight into the chasm 1500 meters down.

"Wait what are you doing Shinjiro ?!" Daniel

" I don't even want to become one of the kitsune why i'm even here." a girl said at near the camp drinking soda

"hey look, What's that is it a bird or.. it's a demon and a student !" a boy said drinking soda besides the girl

"We should tell the teachers !"

"rawwwrraa"

"You fool how you dare !" Shinjiro said punching on the face of the demon

The demon bit his hand meanwhile the girl and the boy told the teacher

"What ?!" The wind kitsune said "We should go fast !"

"You demon !" Shinjiro said

Suddenly his arm turned into a black fire he didn't noticed and punched the demon again. The demon head got punched apart from his body and fell to a long distance. Shinjiro got stuck on a tree branch one by one breaking the branches and got slammed on the ground but he was not bleeding much.

("hmm.. The boy have something in him") the unknown demon

The teacher arrived.

"The heck you were doing ? What if you died there ? what i would say to your pare-" The wind kitsune said

"Don't worry.. i have no parents...aah" Shinjiro said "What happened to the student up there ?"

"Don't worry he's okay, He just lost his one arm"

-3 Days later -

At the hospital -

Lily and Daniel giving the bouquet of flowers to Shinjiro.

"Thank you. By the way how is that child ?" Shinjiro

"Ughh you care so much about the other's by the way he's fine. How's your hand" Lily

"Fine..."

At the bulletin board -

It was 3 days ago a demon attacked a student in training camp. The student lost his left hand but the demon was killed by the teachers. The demons sightings are getting very normal these days. No one knows how that demon entered the training camp. Everyone is scared in the town. let's just talk ab-

"huh..." The wind kitsune "I wonder how that child managed to kill the demon without any powers. Is there a power that he possess or he is possessed by the power ?"
