Got Away With Murder

I grin and laugh. "Looks like I just got away with murder Dolion," I say, looking at my snake. Dolion nods and slithers down from my neck and onto my right wrist.

"Missstresss you ssseem to be happy about having peace and quiet for the firssst time in yearsss." Dolion hisses.

I laugh and answer, "Yes, I am very happy about finally getting the peace and quiet that I deserve." I pet Dolion and grin. "Let's just hope King Anwir doesn't stab us in the back because I WILL stab him back," I add. Dolion nods and I head to my room. As soon as I reach my room I start to see the ghosts of the people I've killed or have seen killed in front of me, like my mother and King Magiio, except there's now a new ghost, King Daayamay. I sigh and close my eyes. "Go away you stupid ghosts!" I mumble shout. The ghosts then fade away and I collapse on my bed.

"Missstresss? Are you alright?" Dolion hisses.

"I'll be fine after a long nap." I say, before slowly falling asleep. Dolion slithers off my wrist and onto my bed, all the way to the pillows before coiling up in a circle, watching me as I sleep.
