Chapter 36: Rage Before Rampage

“Alright, do we have everything?”

The blizzard had broken a few hours ago and the skies should remain clear for the rest of the day as they made their way to Duckwart.

The base was still being rebuilt but they needed to set out today, they’d wasted enough time fighting Strirus’s army.

Elanor had tended to Rir’on and Rostrada yesterday, both of them still with bruises or bandages poking out of their coats while her and Azzoth still had stab wounds in their shoulders.

Leylin and Arko were the only two who’d gotten away from the fight lightly while Mithmore still had frown lines in her skin—or maybe she was just that upset.

“Supplies, money, disguise.” Rostrada put his disguise on, a wave of magic hiding his demonic features. “We’re good to go this time. It’ll take a while to walk there though.”

“Then we better start. Remember, after Duckwart we can’t use magic so frivolously. Most of the strong magic users are with the army and guilds.” Azzoth warned.
