A VACATION

Michy glared at CM, but the girl just shrugged nonchalantly as a response. It seemed the male idol didn't want to disclose the information yet, but CM's big mouth just spilled something that was supposed to be saved in the closet.

The nice Michy could get angry as well, but the carefree girl didn't give a damn about it as she went back to her phone like nothing happened.

"Let's not talk about that matter. I have something more important than that to discuss with you, Ren."

Azren had to swallow his disappointment because Michy seemed to be hesitant to answer his question earlier. The secretive attitude made him feel even more curious, but perhaps he wouldn't get any answer today. Perhaps he could try his luck the other day.

"It sounds so serious," CM butted in again as she put her phone on the table. "Is it related to the meeting earlier? Did my father give you a hard time?"

Azren didn't know the details about the meeting, but it seemed that Michy was having a meeting with some important people in the company earlier. He had not even checked the blue-eyed idol's message before, but it seemed to be unnecessary because the idol had turned into his nice side again.

He would just listen to what the idol was about to tell him now.

"It's a yes and a no to answer your question, CM," the idol answered his cousin's question ambiguously. "It's a yes because what I'm about to tell you guys is related to the meeting, but no, your father didn't give me a hard time. Everything was alright."

The young demon could see that CM was worried about Michy. The girl had confirmed that she wasn't Michy's girlfriend, but the girl's care about Michy was even greater than a girlfriend would do.

"That's good then," CM responded with a curt nod.

Upon confirming that his cousin could accept his explanation, Michy continued his elaboration, "The meeting earlier had decided the title track in my mini-album, and I―"

"Wait," CM suddenly cut Michy's speech, causing the idol to turn his head toward the girl. "Did they choose a childish song again for your title track? You know that I'm not fond of your silly song 'Baby Bee Baby,' right?"

Azren remained quiet as he listened to the two people's conversation. He had known about Michy's comeback plan because the idol had mentioned it in the fan signing even before, and he had expected that the meeting today would discuss the comeback plan. However, he still didn't know more details about it.

"Do you think my 'Baby Bee Baby' is that bad, CM? It became a big hit, so I don't think it's that bad."

CM said that she didn't like Michy's debut song, but for Azren, the idol's debut song was not that bad. In fact, he kept replaying the song when he was alone in his room. The song was addictive and fun, and Michy's voice was so pleasing as well. It was surely not a bad song for him.

"Your fans are just too stupid for liking that low-quality song, Mich."

Azren immediately glared at the girl upon hearing the girl's statement. He was one of the people who enjoyed Michy's song, so CM indirectly called him stupid, right?

"You know that I'm not in the position to choose the song, right?" Michy replied. "It's the board director's right to choose that song for me, and all I could do was only write the lyric for the song. And this time is also the same. I don't have the power to choose the title track."

CM sighed heavily upon hearing her cousin's statement. "I can ask my dad to change the title track for you if you want."

CM's father held the highest position in the company and surely had the strongest power in every decision, but Michy seemed to be against the idea.

"There's no need," the male idol replied. "I've recorded my songs since two months ago, and I agree that the song chosen by the board director is the best among the other songs. It still has the Summer vibe, and it suits this season."

It was the nice Michy, so the idol grinned innocently after finishing his reasoning. CM just shook her head upon seeing her cousin's attitude.

"Aside from that information, what else do you want to tell us?" The girl decided to let her cousin be and asked another question.

It was still the nice Michy, and the nice Michy kept smiling as he answered his cousin's question, "I will film my music video tomorrow at the beach! It will be like a vacation for me!"

It was still the nice Michy, and the nice Michy was beyond innocent. The two people in the lounge could only blink at him in confusion.

"You will film your music video tomorrow at the beach?" Azren questioned the idol, and the idol nodded his head innocently. "How come they didn't inform you beforehand? This news is kind of a rush for you, and you don't even have any preparation for the schedule, right?"

It was Michy's turn to blink in confusion. "You are right, Ren," he agreed with his assistant as he nodded his head. "But they told me to just come to the filming site because they have prepared everything for me, so everything will be alright, right?"

The nice Michy's way of thinking was too innocent, and the two people could only shake their heads.

"Do you have any schedule tomorrow, Mich? If you do have some schedule, then everything won't be alright," CM decided to butt in again.

Michy frowned a little, but then he threw a glance at Azren, seeming to be asking for help from his assistant.

Azren noticed the gaze, and he answered CM's question for him, "Thankfully, you don't have any schedule tomorrow, Mich."

Michy's blue eyes were full of stars upon hearing Azren's confirmation. "It's settled then! We will have a vacation at the beach tomorrow!"
