Selfish.

Keith gazed at the green-eyed charming man in front of him, who was interacting with the people there in the [Dome], cheerfully, while the grey-haired woman adorned in a stereotypical business woman's clothes----a black blazer, a white-shirt, black-paths, and shoes----kept glaring at the people as if they were dirty and didn't even deserve to exist in front of her King, as the seductive dark skinned woman adorned in casual but skin tight cloths was charming all the opposite sex with an lust enticing flashes of smiles.

'If only they could sense what I'm sensing...' Keith mumbled inwardly. He could tell that most of the people in the [Dome] would die if either one of them released their intent dyed auras, as merely being in their presence was making Keith shudder involuntarily.

'They are strong....'

Too strong even, but the most surprising fact was that how their King stood unfazed to everything about his subjects.

'Can he not feel their.....' Keith thought, as he gaze coincidentally landed on Ivan's left hand, which was behind his back waving, as if indicating Nu and Zilla to control their ambiance.

'He knows!' Keith exclaimed inwardly as a chill enveloped his heart, that stopped his trembling hands.

"Huuu....." A cold breath escaped his mouth upon realizing that fact, but he kept his face stoic. Shaking his head at the realisation of him putting, no, wasting too much time on a single pawn, Keith took a few steps back before turning his back at the group.

Nu's grey gaze peered at Keith's departing back as the aura of disgust that seemed to oozing "involuntarily" died out in an instant.

Before Ivan's stubborn departure to Earth.

Nu, who had understood that His Majesty wouldn't hear to their pleas, dared and sink into her own shadow as she soon lunged at the Ivan's shadow boxing figure and merged into his shadow, as she asked her last life's shadow to hide her in Ivan's shadow.

Fortunately for Nu, her last life's shadow complied with her unreasonable request and hid her upon acting on its instincts, due to the presence of the shadows mending Nu's presence, she was able to hide from Ivan's senses.

She could see everything from the moment her King jumped into the portal, she had seen what had happened before he jumped in, since it was something she knew would happen, her mind didn't wander in concern for those things, but

Her entire existence began to tremble upon their arrival in front of an eye, that called itself the Law Of Casualty, her fear which seemed to have reached its limits was soon proven to be her delusion as she gazed up at her King get trapped in the [Gap] of [Time], which froze her existence too, but for whatever reason her consciousness remained active as she gazed at everything happen to her King.

His sufferings, struggles, growth, everything before he was banished to the [Five Worlds Of Hell] where his shadow ceased to exist, in which she was trapped in, unable to do a thing.

She didn't even have the privilege of being able to look after her King from his shadow.

And after she lost count of time, she felt everything about her King's shadow merge within him, due her having her own un-severed shadow, she wasn't included in the process of becoming one with her King's power, and was envious of her own shadow of her past life, that had gotten the privilege of becoming one with her King's strength.

And after an eternity in the shadows that seemed to pass by an instant, her King's shadow finally found ground and after a few seconds that passed as she regained her clarity on reality, she jumped out of her King's shadow and gazed at her King trying to drag a white-haired man aside.

It was strangely awkward at that instance, but she bowed extremely politely to her King, who was looking at her with a puzzled expression marring his face, which Nu felt was right to ignore at the moment and politely took the white-haired man and just when she was about to toss him aside as if he was some trash, her King stopped her and ordered her to bring him along.

It was at that moment, when another alluring woman jumped off of her King's sui generis arm, which was his left arm, and wiggled sensually as if trying entice lust from her most noble and ever majestic King.

She was about rip apart the [Damned] right at that instance, but noticing her King sigh at such a thing's aesthetics, she held in her urge. Since her King reacted with a not-really-surprised expression to the existence of the [Damned], she didn't have enough privilege to ask who the [Damned] was and decided to ignore her.

She also knew from the experience of severing her King that he wasn't one to pounce on one, in lust.

Later, her King, who had been meditating and understanding his own body, asked them to follow him and simply sat on a tree stump, staring at them with a strangely intimidating gaze that made both of them shudder.

With a delighted exclamation inwardly, Nu knelt on the dried up leaves and twigs blanketing the ground and pleaded her King to grant her death, which she considered to be the most honourable way to end her life.

She soon noticed that the [Damned] next to her also kneeled, but didn't stop her sultry actions.

After that, everything is as you know it.

After leaving behind the King, who never even existed in the past, Keith exited the [Dome] with a pondering expression marring his handsome face.

'How did such an existence never come to light in the past? Did he die..... No, that's not possible considering how powerful the beings next to him are.....'

'[Fate-link] had linked the fate of the user with another!' A notification he read after he checked his status window for the first time in this life flashed in his mind, halting him in his steps.

"Don't tell me....." Keith muttered under his breath, and upon pondering over the notification and his encounter with an existence that seemed to have ruled over the world that should never exist, Keith concluded that the [Fate] had brought them close.

'He must be a piece made for me to use.....'

While his delusional thoughts trailed on,

"Shit, I forgot!!" Keith cursed under his breath as he rushed back into the [Dome].

A few seconds later.

Keith arrived at a most dumbfounding sight he had ever expected to see in his last life, and even in his newly regressed life.

He had unintentionally halted at a distance away from the opened [Gate-5], with stupefied expression marring his face.

In front of him was a gathered crowd that wasn't entering the [Gate-5] even though they were ready to do anything to rush into a [Gate] to end their misery just until a few minutes ago, among the crowd were people of all kinds of [Characters] from what Keith had seen.

Even the most evil among the crowd was also standing still waiting for "it" to happen.

What was "it?"

"It" was concerning a man, no, a King entering the [Gate-5] first.

Yes, the entire crowd was waiting for His Majesty Ivan to enter the Gate, as he stood in between the crowd and the Gate with a gentle smile on his face.

"I shall see you on the other side of this 'Portal.'" The green-eyed King stated as he stepped forward with unwavering steps with a suffocating, sophisticated, dignified yet gentle ambience surrounding him.

His unwavering steps incited the desire to follow behind him no matter where he went, while also erasing the previous uneasiness of where the Gate would lead to from the hearts of those present in the [Dome], while the only one who knew where it lead yet was unbothered to ease their worries was ashamed of himself, his mind soon flashed him of the things he had done for others rather than himself since his regression, which didn't amount to much when compared to what Ivan had did in a few moments, that selfish aspect of his hadn't changed, even though he thought of changing in his new life, even as he thought for a split second that words of the green-eyed King to be cringe in the current generation.

BOOUINMMM-!

As soon as the green-eyed King disappeared into the portal with a pair of servants, the crowd followed up with unhesitant steps without hindering the others around them.

"Keith, young man! Come, go in!" The old man that had asked him to stay back a few minutes ago called out in a loud voice, that indicated how unbothered he was even though he was giving up his own turn to enter for Keith.

"Fuck....." Keith cursed under his breath, ashamed of his own selfish self.
