**Time Skip** 

Alette POV 

It's been close to 10 years since Edward stumbled into our meadow to think and write all I can say after reading his journal entries all these years is that he is mopey and whiney. Monster this Damned that it's sooooo annoying and Arion agrees with me he is not welcome in our meadow but we can't reveal ourselves to him for he isn't to know about the other supernatural species until after he meets Bella. God told us through a dove cliché I know. We love when Uncle is here cause Edward doesn't come close to us when he is. Small miracles are also nice. Edward came today to say goodbye to the meadow because his family has to leave the towns folk are getting restless as Arion would say they don't have compulsion to keep them from noticing that they don't age like Uncle does. So they have to move around about once every decade Edward whined about that a lot in his book as well. Thank God he is leaving though he will be back a small reprieve from his endless monologue will be nice. 

ANOTHER **Time Skip**

Arion POV

We have been in this meadow so long I feel like my roots are rotting. I know they aren't but I'm just sick of doing nothing while the world changes around us. "Augh Lette help me I'm board." I knew she was rolling her eyes even if she doesn't have them in tree form. "Waiting sucks!" "I know it sucks genius." she says exasperated with me since I say almost the exact same thing almost every day. "We don't have long to wait I can see Uncles bond is coming to life again Aunty will be out of Malivore soon I can feel it." She is always right I just have to be patient I tell myself.

Alaric POV

*phone ringing*

"Hello" "Ric I got one that can talk." "I'll be there." Hanging up the phone I grabbed a bag and headed to the car only to be cut off by Hope yelling at me to let her come as well cause she doesn't want to deal with Landon. I said "I have to go meet Dorian he has a monster trapped that can talk with us." Hope looking upset says "Fine but I'm not happy about this." Getting into my car I head to the airport so I can fly to Washington state to the cabin that Dorian is held up at to speak to the first communicative monster that is after this forsaken knife. I pull up to the cabin and walk into the room to see Dorian has trapped the Dryad in a ring of flowers keeping her locked in place with a barrier. "A dryad I presume?" the creature just nods her head in affirmation I continue "It says here that you are a living spirit of a tree." again she just nods "It also says your kind are gentle creatures who chose to live amongst humans. We are not your enemy, we are just looking for answers." she looked into my eyes and said "Humans are known to lie." Dorian countered back with "so are monsters." not responding to Dorians hostility she spoke again "There is a man I cherish his name is Oliver. If you bring him to me I will believe that you are trustworthy or what passes for it among your species. only then will I answer your questions." Dorian then said "wow wow wow we are not negotiating right Ric?" I looked at her and said "What should we tell this Oliver?" She came towards me and pulled a ring on a woven string from her neck and handed it it me while saying "Show him this ring it belonged to him, he will come with you. I will give no further answers until he does." Dorian tried to provoke her by saying "What if we don't Take the deal?" She simply sits and says "Trees are patient Humans are not." Dorian and I then head outside to talk as well as figure out how to find Oliver. "I think we should get Bonnie to do a locator spell to find this Oliver." "Agreed" Dorian said I walked back in to sit with our guest while he went to ask Bonnie for help. While sitting we get to talking about loss, love and my family I'm starting to think she is psychic I say to myself laughingly. Dorian then walks in saying he has good new and bad news "First Bonnie did a combo summoning/ astral thing to locate Oliver and he's here bad news is he doesn't remember her but is waiting to see her. Weird thing is he wants to know her name." The man Oliver then walks in while looking and our new dryad friend and says "I am Oliver and you are?" she looks saddened but then looks at him and asks about the meadow he says he still lives there to this day. She smiles at this and says "My name is Elida." He looks to be on the verge of tears and wants to hug her but the barrier and the fact that he is just an astral projection stops him. He looks at me and says "I need to come to you physically can you tell me where you are? I need to know so that I can bring something that will clear her mind of all foreign influence." Shocked and taken aback I say "Yes, Dorian can help you with that where are you? We are sort of short on time at the moment." He then says I'm in Washington in a port town called Port Angeles." Dorian looks at me and says "Ric that's not even a long drive from here we are just outside of there in a town called Forks." Oliver then says tell me the address please I will be there within the hour." After getting the information he needed he was gone but Elida looked confused she hadn't any idea what we were talking about. 

Oliver POV

Coming out of the astral projection and back into my home I run full tilt into the yard towards the twins I can tell Alette is smiling at me. ever since they learned to project themselves at me they do this a lot. They say it's so I'm not so lonely. We all know it's for themselves as well. I practically fly to her screaming "Your Aunt is back. I need your help she is under the control of Malivore and I need to break his mental control."

Arion and Alette nod while weaving their leaves together and form a crown of sorts for their aunt to wear as Alette says "This will keep her mind safe until you can get her to us."

"Got it I will be back in 2 hours tops with your Aunt Elida and 2 guests."

"safe travels Uncle" Arion says while laughing at me in jubilation at having my heart back.

I nearly took the door of my car off as I opened it to hop in. I took the van I usually take to get fertilizer for the twins. They say they don't need it but we both know they love the stuff as it has always been buried by their roots the next day when I come out. Laughing at myself as I race to where Elida is.

Alaric I think that's his name opens the door as I race inside for the first time in my corporeal body and see her and she takes my breath away just by standing there. 

"Your here" I whisper

"I am" she says back smiling.

I go to hand her the head wreath and am stopped by Dorian.

I growl out "This will keep that muddy beast out of her head don't get in my way boy"

Alaric just asks "so you know what is controlling her."

"Somewhat" I admit "I don't know as much as her or my niece and nephew. But I need her to help me free them so will you so kindly let me give her this so we can go free them."

Alaric just moves out of the way as I place the wreath on her head she smiles as I do so. I kiss her head and ask "Will you come with me to meet Arion and Alette. I know you don't remember just yet but you will I promise and once they are free I will finally be able to remember all about you as well."

She nods I look at Dorian and say "remove the barrier" Begrudgingly he complies while mumbling how its not right to free more monsters just to get info for a different one. Taking Elida's hand has my heart singing as I lead her to the van I ask "Are you riding with us or following?"

"I will ride with you Dorian will follow." Said Alaric I nodded to this for Dorian is beginning to get on my nerves.
