At Tereko's worst time, Kamano and his partner, the Red-cross's mercenary which Tereko held hostage in a safe house, also tortured and killed his younger brother and now they found Tereko in here, to seek vengeance.

"One shot you are done for; this is for my brother that you killed."

Apparently Kamano and the partner escaped from the safe house and possess themselves with the same Brightlight-based weapon that Tereko have and that makes her vulnerable.

"That, how I cannot move, can't use my Hikaru, I'm done for."

Tereko dreadfully murmured, watching helplessly, her adversary taking the shot.

"I will not let that happen!"

At the most unexpected moment, Akagi stepped forward, selflessly shield Tereko's wounded body, and gets shot in the ribs, collapse on the ground.

For Akagi's selfless act, surprised Tereko extremely, specially after she had heard about Akagi Shinsuke, been an egocentric paragon.

Tereko was shocked beyond imagination, it was first time that someone has confess their love to her, reminisce at the past since she is already crushing on Akagi's former self as Hatteki it significantly clouds her judgement either she makes him as the enemy.

After time went back to normal, Akagi saw Kamano, chocked with his blood, groaning through the sliced off throat like his other partner.

"What will I do now? I don't understand myself anymore."

Though Tereko instinctively killed Red-cross mercenaries, she has no idea about what will do now.

After a little push, it didn't not take much time for Tereko to confess to Akagi and he seems like truly meant what he said but his true colour begins to flow when he was taken to the Brittonian military medic.

A very sinister grin displayed at Akagi's face when he was with the medical crew, pretend to be injured, while reversing his wicked schemes.

It has clear, the whole event was part of Akagi's plan, after regaining the memory, Akagi's unscrupulous planning and manipulation also back.

He deliberately plan the whole thing to get Tereko on his side, for starters, he hacked Tereko's profile and exploits it, finding what she lacked, a romantic companion, at that moment Akagi were not the favourite person, thus he released Red-cross men from the safe house, snapping his neck the associate who was guarding them, after release he manipulate them to attack Tereko in the AFA, giving them Brightlight weapons purposely.

Once they attack Tereko in the arena, Akagi intentionally injured himself, giving her sympathy for his actions let her kill both Red-cross Mercenaries which Akagi use as a mere pawn and thinks or felt nothing other than a lifeless toy.

For Akagi's genius plans, skilful manipulation Tereko forced made her choice, inadvertently joins Akagi, despite knowing his partner is Redtron. Therefore, she can't capture Antheia, literally abandoned her mission which was from the start. Akagi swiftly plays the part of loving her, masterfully manipulating her in order to get Tereko on his side, knowing he cannot defeat her in fair fight, he rather manipulate her to his advantage.
