"Uh Hi, can I come in?" Her voice stung Lucas with a great flurried emotion that he thought he couldn't forbearance within himself.

"Ah yes," she walked in, though the memory of her touching herself had its own traits of concealed vehemence that if he could not trample it beneath his foot then it would get much worse in its own time. She settled herself on her bed and looked around the house, the hole that was only made for him to peek inside her room had the least probability for her to find it.

"What happened to your face?"

"Oh this, I fell from the stairs, It's no big deal," she looked at his bruises for a moment then deserted her eyes from it.

"I'm really bored right now," she had a preoccupied look that avowal everything for Lucas. He couldn't budge his lips to move.

"What are you doing right now? Is it any fun?"

Yes, if stalking her when she was making her satisfied was fun that he would have spit out the words.

"No, I was just reading…. Ah, reading some comics,"

"Oh comics, I love reading those as well, what kind of comics do you like? Marvel or DC?" Her eyes enlightened when the word comics seeped inside her ears.

"Uh, I don't read superhero comics much,"

"Oh too bad, what kind of comics do you read then?"

"Mystery stuffs," As his voice went out, she just nodded then for a moment the silence showed up, yet the evening for him was so full of pleasant and gorgeous as he'd never expected her to be in his room. But the boredom came back to her face.

"So do you mind lending me some of your favourite mystery comics? How about we swap? I'll give you some of the best superhero comics as well, we try out each other's favourite stuff, does that sound fun to you?"

He felt the sojourn rage towards Zak as her kind sorrowful blue eyes stared at him, though the rage was because of his dare to hurt a woman like her.

"Yeah, it seems fun," he said. The smile jutted on her cheeks then she rose.

"Wait here, I'll be going and come back with my comics in a minute,"

She left the room, for a moment, her smile had stung his heart with pang and yet it soon changed to the feelings of love. Soon she returned with the piles of comics laid down in her hands.

"Help me, these are about to fall,"

He rose and took over some of the comics from her hands.

"So which one do you want to read?" She asked.

"As you said, the best one that you got."

She smiled again and dispersed her eyes, she found a book as she heeded her eyes on Lucas.

"This one, Watchmen by Alan Morre, this is my favourite,"

He took it over from her and opened the pages, then heeded his eyes on the first page.

"Hey, don't start reading just yet, give me one of your books as well,'

He rose and placed his fingers on one of his comics called The Private Eye.

"Read this, you'll love it," she took over and read the title.

"The Private Eye, what is this about?"

"It's about revealing everyone's secret, read it you'll love it for sure," she nodded and dispersed her eyes onto the pages, as the graphics enlightened her eyes, her lips budge slowly, reading the dialogues and attentively biting her bottom lip as she was doing at her own room. Lucas attend at her with his eyes full of love that he could only conceal within himself, forbearance was hard yet he leered at her wet lips, it aroused the sexual desire in him and his urge to just go and kiss her lips, he couldn't asunder his own feelings. She took her head up and looked at Lucas which distracted him from his view.

"What are you looking at? Read the book that I gave you,"

"Oh right, yes, sorry," he waddled his attention to the book and read the page, those characters seemed somewhat ridiculous at first but when he progressed through the first few pages, he'd begun to develop feelings for them, and connect with them. He was liking the book and fully lost himself in it hitherto she distracted him again.

"Oh there's one character that I'm in love with, oh sorry did I distract you? Keep going,"

He smiled and start to read again, the wind screamed outside again, and the time was perfect for the reading season and the book that she'd had given him, and the expectations that she threw, it did stand with it, he was in love with the story and it grew more as he progressed.

Two hours have taken Lucas to finish the book, he rose and looked at her as she was settled on the sofa, hiding her face beneath the book.

"I finished it," she peeked to the side of the book and stared at him.

"What? Already?"

He nodded, and just stood there for her answer.

"You want a different one?"

"Well if you say so,"

She smiled and rose, and walked to the pile of books that she borrowed, her fingers dispersed onto the pile.

"Oh, I think I forgot that one in my room, can you wait a bit? I need to search for that book in my room,"

He nodded and stared at her as she walked out of the room, the silence permeated the surrounding, and then he walked to the bed and looked through the hole to her room. Her presence wasn't there yet but soon she appeared against his eyes, though he could only spot the shadow as the darkness had swallowed her room.

"Where is that one?" She proceeded with her searching but seemed like she couldn't, soon enough she turned up the lights and returned to her searching again but then she stopped and shifted her gaze behind, her face had that eerieness that wasn't comprehendible to Lucas, her back was against Lucas.

"What are you doing here?"

As those words flew out, his body flurried.

"You didn't take the keys from me!" The voice matched perfectly with Zak.
