Chapter 4: Reborn Pt. 2

[1919, Outskirts of the Freyr Imperial Capital / The Agrona Nunnery]

Whatever the reason may be, I was reincarnated as a baby boy who was abandoned in a nunnery. It was very similar to a certain European country but in a much older era.

Was I sent back in time?

Due to the current times, there was a huge gap between the rich and poor and so a painful, difficult life was unavoidable.

"Hey! Give me your bread!" yelled a child as he attempted to pilfer my bread.

"No." I replied before I bitten into my awfully stiff bread.

The child yelled at me again while he gripped onto my bread. That won't do, that won't do at all.

Though I was given the chance to live another life, it seems that I still can not contain my self from my previous instincts.

I attempted to choke the child with my small hands, even when others got involved, I did not budge. When I thought I had finally killed him, I suddenly pulled by an invisible force.

Originally I thought I was sent back through time however I was greatly mistaken. Unlike like the earth I previously dwelled in, the power of magic did exist in this world.

As result, the child did not die and I was sent to the Agrona Church to be disciplined for my "savage" behavior. The Agrona Nunnery was built not only for nuns to live as a religious community, but for also raise all children the Agrona Church decide to adopt.

Children are forbidden inside the Church unless called for. If a child were called for, it was either the Head Priest saw potential or to be punished. Which was my unfortunate fate.

But why now? I've tried to kill the other children plenty of time, including the nuns as well. Have they decided to get rid of me? I hope so, the nunnery is so boring and I want some action.

When I was dragged inside the Church, I'll admit that a pile of corpses was the last thing I would see within a holy building.
