Albert Brown pocketed his phone and looked at Amelia Sanchez, who had already eaten most of her meal and was now ready to eat a pudding.
"Could I have a pudding, please?"
Amelia signaled for the waitstaff, ordered a pudding for herself, and then turned her gaze to Albert.
"Let me take a look."
Albert paused, his face ashen and ugly, he clenched his teeth, withholding his phone from Amelia.
Amelia said, "I'll double this one."
"..."
Albert forced a smile, "Do you know what you're saying?"
"Of course. It's all negative and ugly stuff, right?" Amelia dismissed it carelessly.
Albert was silent for a few seconds. "That doesn't bother you?"
Amelia pondered, "Whether I care or not is irrelevant to this situation. If you don't show me, it means you are afraid."
Caught off guard, Albert remained silent.
Amelia sighed, "I'll leave first then, if you want to talk, or need my help, come find me. If you don't need me, then let's leave it."
