Despite this unexpected dose of good old slapstick comedy that just ended the gauntlet battle, Jericho and company never once laughs.

Instead, they feel pity for Isersolo Petpeck and his hoarder gang.

Minutes later…

A platoon of the kingdom's soldiers arrives.

The head of the platoon introduces himself to Jericho and company before continuing…

"Whew. Who knew they went this far to hoard essential goods, even setting up dangerous dungeons to give us all a hard time. But hail unto thee, adventurers. You helped the kingdom avert a crisis, and thus you'll be rewarded greatly."

Jericho just reacts with a silent yet respectful "I know".

As expected, the hoarders used their own teleportation device to easily move barrels of oil and chests containing sugar and onions.

The soldiers, in turn, return those hoarded goods back to where they should belong using those very same portals while also taking charge in the arrest of the hoarder gang.
