Her room's door is just open, and she simply says "Yes, I can talk with you."
She just comfortably sits at her own desk, reading a book.
"What kind of book are you reading, anyway?" I ask her.
"Oh, it's about political fanaticism and how it can destroy several people's minds."
She then faces me… as she puts away the book for now.
"It's clear that tomorrow… we'll fight the forces of evil… but back in the real world, who's good and who's evil… I simply don't know who I can trust anymore. Listen, Benoit. I'm a Republican, just like my family. And Washington is a Democratic bailiwick. But I know much better than being just on either of those two sides alone."
