Chapter 4: Event.

Akane is carrying some things with a classmate.

"Thank you so much for helping me, Hasegawa..."

"It's nothing..."

As they walk down the hallway, the two of them chat about various topics.

"By the way, did you hear that Sakura Kanna is going to join our class?"

"Isn't she a famous idol?"

"Yes! I hope to get her autograph!"

"I see..."

Akane thinks to herself.

I'll have to keep a close eye on Makoto.

They pass by a window that overlooks the entrance to the school.

"Look, I can see her!"

The two of them peer out the window.

"Isn't she beautiful?"

Akane stares with dull eyes and a blank expression.

"Hasegawa?"

At the entrance of the school, Makoto can be seen, not with one girl, but with two.

"Your school is so lovely, my love!"

"Remember what we agreed on!"

"Yes, yes, we'll keep our relationship a secret, but I'm just so excited that you actually agreed to be my boyfriend..."

How did I end up in this situation?

A few minutes earlier.

"He's my boyfriend!"

Both Makoto and the girl with him are shocked by that declaration.

"Wait a minute! When did we become a couple!?"

"You don't have to play dumb, darling. You're my ideal person, don't you remember?"

Then he remembers.

As they talk, someone else is in a state of shock.

The girl answers for herself.

"I'm Inoue Yumiko, I go to the same school as Makoto."

"And what are you doing here?"

That question caught her off guard.

Yumiko blushes, and all the determination she had crumbles, revealing a fragile and tender young girl, but the idol didn't care and kept pressing.

Sakura is surprised but sees a chance to get closer to her beloved.

Yumiko steps between them.

And so, he ended up going to school with both of them.

Damn, I agreed to avoid getting roasted, but if Akane sees me with these two, I don't know what she might do.

The response comes.

The bell rings, signaling the start of classes.

"It's time for class, Makoto!"

Yumiko grabs Makoto's arm and pulls him away from Sakura.

They leave the idol behind, who watches the two of them walk away, but Yumiko glances back for just a moment to flash a malicious smile, which enrages the singer.

Damn bitch!

Minami was about to go after them, but a crowd of fans blocked her.

"Are you Sakura Kanna?"

"Yes, nice to meet you, but I'm in a hu-"

"Awesome! I'm a huge fan of your work! Can I have your autograph, please?"

"But I really have to-"

"I want an autograph too!"

"Wait, ple-"

"It's not fair; I want to talk to her too!"

The celebrity was reaching the limit of her patience.

Can you all just leave me alone!

Minami takes a deep breath and puts on her best smile.

"Calm down, everyone. I'll have time to meet all of you."

Everyone was amazed by the idol's exemplary attitude, while in her mind, there was only one thought lingering.

That bitch is definitely going to die.

Classes begin, and Minami introduces herself.

"Nice to meet you all. I hope we get along well..."

She looks at Makoto for a moment and smiles. Suddenly, a pencil snaps, and everyone turns toward the source of the sound to see Akane with a strained smile.

"Welcome, Minami. I hope we get along well."

After class, a group of students surrounds the idol.

"Hey, Minami, why don't we have lunch together..."

"Actually, I had other plans..."

She looks over at Makoto's desk and doesn't see him.

"Where is he...?"

"Makoto? He left as soon as the bell rang..."

The idol was about to go after him when someone grabbed her arm.

"Do you have some business with him, Minami?"

"Of course I do!"

She turns to see who it was and is surprised to find it's Akane.

"Ah... And what business is so important that you're this desperate?"

And why the hell do you care?

"Why so curious, Hasegawa?"

"You know, answering a question with another question is rude."

The tension in the air begins to thicken.

Meanwhile, Makoto hides in a storage room.

They won't find me in here.

"Are you sure this will stop her?"

"No, but at least I'll avoid the bad ending from last time."

"I see. By the way..."

The phone screen displays a congratulations message.

"Congratulations, you've completed your mission!"

"Huh, really?"

"You've met all your stalkers. Now you have new missions..."

Makoto checks the new missions.

"Survive your stalkers, go on a date with at least three of your stalkers on the same day, kiss at least three of your stalkers... What kind of missions are these!?"

Then he notices one mission in particular.

"Prevent Inoue Yumiko from dying?"

"It seems that Minami has set her sights on that girl. She probably thinks she's going to take you away from her..."

Our protagonist leaves the storage room and goes to look for Inoue.

Meanwhile, Yumiko was heading to the library when she was intercepted by the young idol, who had a disturbing smile.

"Inoue Yumiko, can I speak with you in private?"

"What do I have to talk about with you, Minami Hana?"

"Oh, I just wanted to apologize for how I treated you. It was wrong of me to say all those things... Sorry."

"Really!?"

What an idiot, now's my chance.

"I'd like to invite you to my house so we can get to know each other better..."

The innocent Inoue was about to accept the invitation when Makoto appeared, out of breath from running.

"Inoue, there you are..."

"Makoto, what's going on!?"

"I've been looking for you, Inoue..."

"Eh... You were looking for me? Why?"

"Yes... Would you like to have lunch with me?"

Yumiko was surprised, but at the same time, immense joy filled her face.

"Yes, of course!"

Minami interrupted.

"Why do you want to have lunch with her!?"

"What's the matter? Do you have something against it, Minami?"

"Of course I do, he's my...!"

She realizes where she is.

"He's...?"

"My guide! He was going to show me around the school, right?"

I don't think I can refuse.

The three of them toured the school grounds, eventually reaching the reconstruction area.

Inoue responded.

"You don't even know that? We're in the area that's being rebuilt."

"Don't you want to go take a look?"

Yumiko was surprised.

"Did you want to go look?"

"No, I'm fine just as we are. Oh, look, it's time to head back!"

Classes ended, and everyone went home.

Phew... I'm glad it's over. Worrying about Inoue is exhausting.

But you still have to watch over her. If they already know where you live and where you study, don't you think they'll find out where she lives?

Makoto ran to Yumiko's classroom, but when he got there, she was nowhere to be found. He decided to ask one of her classmates.

"Where is Inoue?"

"She left a few minutes ago..."

He rushed after her and managed to catch up with her at the exit.

"I'm so glad I found you..."

"Eh... Makoto?"

The shy classmate didn't know how to react, seeing him so agitated and with a worried expression.

"Can I walk you home?"

That question made her incredibly happy.

"Of course, I'd love that!"

They walked together, and surprisingly, nothing strange happened along the way, but Makoto still remained on guard. When they arrived, he felt a great sense of relief, and Yumiko asked him:

"Do you want to come in?"

It would be rude to decline the invitation, and besides, I could inform her parents.

He accepted the invitation and went inside, sitting on the living room sofa. Inoue made him some tea.

I'm not sure if it's a good idea to drink that tea. Maybe she put something weird in it.

When he received the tea, he decided to leave it on the table.

"By the way, Inoue, where are your parents?"

A brief silence passed before she responded in a somber voice.

"You'll meet them later..."

"Eh?"

Her tone abruptly changed to a more cheerful one.

"I wanted to show you something..."

Yumiko pulled out a photo album from a small bookshelf.

"It's my collection of photos of you..."

"Photos of me?"

"Yes, look..."

She showed him a photo of him eating, along with other images of him sleeping, walking to school, attending class, and more.

"When did you take these photos!?"

"Well... The truth is, I'm a good photographer. I just need a few seconds to get the perfect shot."

"I see..."

That's terrifying!

They flipped through the pages, and every one of them was filled with photos of Makoto, but they stopped at a particular photo.

"That's..."

"Oh, yes, it's from when you were a child. You look so cute..."

"Well, I know it might seem in poor taste, but I couldn't resist, so I went through the family photo album your mom has..."

When did she enter the house!? How long was she in my mom's room!?

"Can I use the bathroom?"

"Sure..."

As soon as he entered, he started thinking about what he had just heard.

Various thoughts flood his mind.

If she was casually next to my mother while she was sleeping, what could the others be capable of?

Makoto returns to the living room.

"I have to go, thanks for the tea."

This sudden farewell surprises his classmate.

"Eh... why?"

"I have things to do..."

"But Makoto..."

The shy girl tries to stop him, but he manages to get outside only to be met with a storm.

"The news says the weather will improve tomorrow."

When was this forecasted!?

The game has various ways to put you in difficult situations.

"Looks like you'll have to stay here tonight."

Inoue says happily.

This is a dream come true!

"Since there's only one bed, we should share-."

"I think I'd better sleep on the couch."

Makoto ends up sleeping on the couch. The night is stormy and cold. He turns over to sleep better, only to find Yumiko standing beside the couch while a lightning bolt illuminates the dark room, revealing her tearful face.

Our protagonist is greatly startled.

"What's wrong!?"

The shy Inoue responds.

"I'm scared of the lightning."

A thunderclap strikes, making a loud noise, causing her to hug him.

"It's okay, I won't go anywhere, so could you stop squeezing so hard, okay?"

"I don't want to!"

Damn it, I can feel her breasts! I thought she was padding, but they're really that big!

"Alright, you can sleep with me..."

For a few seconds, she smiles in victory, but then quickly returns to her previous demeanor.

"Thank you..."

They cuddle on the couch, and Yumiko falls asleep within minutes, unlike Makoto, who can't sleep at all.

This was a bad idea.

His companion starts to move, her legs intertwining with one of his.

God, it's me again.

She begins to lower one of her hands towards his lower regions, but before she gets there, he jumps up and runs to the bathroom.

Phew... I was at my limit.

After catching his breath, he returns to the couch.

Luckily, she didn't wake up.

He checks his phone and sees a message from Akane, asking:

How are you?

Makoto decides to reply:

I'm fine.

That's good.

She then sends another message with a photo attached:

By the way, do you have anything to say about this?

It was a picture of him with Inoue on the couch.

This worries Makoto, who looks out the window in front of him and sees Akane staring at him with murderous eyes as the thunder crashes, giving a prelude to what's about to happen.

This is going to be a very long night.
