Episode 014: 1st mission.

Episode 014:

First mission!

Formerly known as Guru, but now referred to as Ryoa. Guru appeared to have changed his name before entering Visionary academy. With Lucas filling out his form and educating him about the Visionary system before his entry. The reason for the change in name, is because of every know's Guru as being dead, but now seeing him here in the Visionary would arouse suspension. He changed his name from Guru to Ryota.

A month has passed since his entry into the holy place, he hasn't been assigned any mission as of yet, but has been given petty jobs like assistance to an exorcism. He hates the fact that he hasn't gone on an actual job against a real-time demon like Akaza or perhaps lower but strong enough to challenge Abyzou's power. The pawns actually wore Uniform too, like black shorts, long thick trousers underneath it, boots, a dark top and a long sleeve thick shirt inside it. They fashion actually made more sense than the knights, perhaps, but too many things to put on. The symbol of cross for Visionary and a sign that indicates his ranking of pawn.

He sat there in Denzel's office, muttering to himself as he wanted to embark on a danger mission. He didn't like the way things around here had gone for far. For example, he had no friends in here, everyone seemed grumpy except his secretary and the pawn ranking was awful.

He had his hair pulled backward and as his eyes rolled up to clash with a smiling Denzel. "Ohio! Ryota". Denzel said and let go of his hair.

"I ain't happy, Denzel. There's nothing good about the morning". Ryota snapped and rolled his eyes.

"Hmm (thinks for a moment) did you get off the wrong side of the bed again? Denzel asked about his change of attitude.

"No! Look, I have been here for like a month and I haven't gone to any mission at all.

"What about last week at Comic-con? Denzel said and lounge himself in his office chair.

"That was a comic con!

"And the week before that? Denzel asked again.

"That exorcism job was lame, and you know that". Ryota snapped and lowered his eyebrows.

"And the week before that week? Denzel asked once more.

"Academy work! He snapped, and Denzel muttered something to himself. "I mean it Denzel, you're the bureau master right…fix me a mission or something".

"Okay! For starters, some kids would be happy that they aren't going on a road trip to their death" Denzel said and scoffed at his lame joke. "Come laugh, you can't say that wasn't funny?

"It wasn't. And I am not some random scared kid, I'm the kid! He groaned and placed his head closer to Denzel's face.

"Am I interrupting? A knock was followed the voice. Denzel and Ryota turned to see a light skinned teenager with black hair, dressed as a Queen with a black nose mask strapped to the mouth. The queen dressing remarked on dark gray turtle-neck outfit, long sleeves and same color of jeans, just like a military style of dressing. He had a pale, expressionless face and had his eyes in another direction when he spoke. As though he didn't want to be here or something.

"Haruto! There you are, thought you weren't coming in today?

"Who's this Pawn? The kid smirked and had his saggy eyes paled at Ryota.

"Hey, who you calling pawn! Ryota slammed as he pulled in closer for a potential fight.

"Okay…can easy up the pressure a little. I can feel a strong brewing over here! Denzel called out to both of them.

"Perhaps a kid like him should know their place. A pawn like you should be carrying my shit! Haruto snapped and pulled his face in closer.

"Okay, no one's listening to me! Denzel once again called out as he was entirely ignored by tow of them.

"Care to step outside, Haruto! Ryota smirked as they both went head-to-head. Haruto smiled and pulled his head backward and called out-

"Divine VISIONARY!

"Hell no! Females snapped in and placed a barrier block over their head both, concealing their mouth from talking. As they struggled to take it off, Denzel stood in the corner complaining that them fight could ruin his office setting.

"They started fighting again? A voice called out behind him, and they all stopped and turned. Behind him stood another Chess boarder, higher ranked and just like Denzel. He wore the chessboard outfit and was itching his back leg with his other leg.

"Komura! Denzel screamed like a little girl in excitement to see his best friend, who's on the same level with him. They both embraced each other and laughed as they hadn't seen themselves in a long time.

"Dude, I thought you were dead! They both chorused to each other and laughed again.

"Help! A feint voice screamed, and they turned to see Haruto and Ryota still stocked in the barrier box. Denzel snapped his finger and they were released automatically.

"Okay! Okay! Break it up now! Komura said and chuckled as they both were shoved aside. "Denzel, do you have a minute? Komura asked, and Denzel itched his head.

"Yeah, sure, I guess.

"Good! There's a mission for both of us. Located just south of Yokohama is an abandoned orphanage home. 16 persons had gone missing around the area and reports of some horrendous sounds and activities have been seen lately. The Pope had to call us in because the last 3 guys were killed trying to find out what's up". Komura said and looked up at Denzel as he handed him over the paper which he read from.

"Hmm! Sounds fishy! 16 persons and still able to lie low…quiet a demon". He mumbled out loud.

"are you coming? Komura said and turned to leave as if they set off early, they can arrive right in time.

"Yep! He said and stretched his body. "Lets call this a bro's catch-up". He said and chuckled on.

"Seriously! What about me? Ryota slammed in desperation.

"Quit whining! Haruto brushed him off.

"I swear to God! If you don't shut it… I would burn you down to the ground". Ryota groaned and threw his hands at his face.

"Still can't get along, huh? Denzel snapped at them both.

"Speaking about mission! There's a report about people gone missing in Minato Mira 21. The report came in late, but we could still get some men up there. Since you two are all fires up, then head over there and sought it out. Take Zantestu with you, he could be really helpful. Plus, be careful this demon has already taken 4 victims, so once you see it, exterminate it. Understood?

"Yes sir! Ryota slammed with a big smile on his face. He looked at Haruto, but only got an eye rolling the other side. That didn't matter, the only that mattered now was that he had his first mission in hand, and he would use this to climb all the way up.

"Let's go! He slammed and walked out of the room, but Denzel stayed back to have a little chat with Ryota. Haruto left to go fetch Zantestu, who was by the infirmary.

The door shut and Denzel threw himself down to the chair opposite the excited Ryota. "Finally, got a mission, huh? Remember, don't get too pissed else Abyzou might try to take over your body. Relax and think before fighting, remember everything I thought to you!

"Right Sensei! Ryota snapped and made for the door.

"Hey. Denzel called out to him. "Use your nose to sniff out demons nearby". Denzel said, and he looked in awe as he got confused.

Eventually he made for the door and walked down to the cab, where Zantestu and Haruto were already waiting for him. Zantestu was happy to meet, despite his low ranking of Pawn and The other two being higher than him. They hopped into the car and sped off to Minato Mira 21. Denzel apparently walked out and into a train station with Komura, not before they actually went shopping for glasses and chocolate pudding.

Need to know: Komura, 23 years of age, handsome and extremely intelligent. He possesses the ability of Spirit Wind and has domain as a chessboard. Dark curly hair, eyes and red lips are mostly used ass his description.

Unlike Denzel, his life isn't a mystery but is very much open. He was schooling at a harbor freight to be a sea captain in the Navy before the apocalypse in 2013. His ability evolves around one thing and that's weakness. A pass of his spirit in your body and you become weak and loss control over your ability. Even demons envy his ability, being Denzel's best friend and future in-law as he always claims that he would one day win over Rika Chan, Komura's sister.

Zantestu, 17 years of age, most of time despite his ability he is scared and doesn't like getting involved in a fight. He possesses the skill of Light and his ability evolves around 3 things; Illumination, Heal and identify. He barely is fights but still have a ranking of Queen just like Haruto. He has orange hair, eyes and not tough looking. He normally carries a cape for the winter cold and has a nicer attitude than any other.
