Jerusalem, Market
Aram Noah strutted with confidence as he went to carry out his responsibility as a member of the Jerusalem market traders committee. From the time when he was selected as the Christian trader's representative. He had become a new man, full of hope and optimism but also somewhat proud of his new standing in the market.
Aram Noah waved to the traders he came across; he was now popular. He was delivering a warning letter to the trader, Mostafa Ali. During the last mediation meeting which was chaired by Imam Ali Hassan, it was resolved that Khameni Ahamed was not fit to lead the market as he had failed to resolve the disagreements with the traders leading to loss of life. He was replaced by his deputy Wahid Salim. This and many other changes were made, such as abolishing the extra taxes charged on Christian traders and reducing the number of fines a trader had to pay.
