He had not even finished turning around when a sword came towards his exposed neck from behind.

"Yosef, watch out!" Justin who was about to leave the ladder shouted at him.

At the sound of his name being shouted by Justin, he knew that he was in danger. Yosef ducked down before he completed turning around. The sword which was aiming for his neck missed and cut through the bundle of ropes on his right shoulder. The sword cut through them cleanly; it did not stop on the bundle of ropes but continued past his Sergeant's tunic before plunging a few centimeters into his exposed flesh. It would have gone deeper but the ropes took away most of the force as well as ducking in time.
