Chapter 47: Meadow and Sky officially has no rest

....

3rd Person's P.O.V

Her whole body jolted as she heard the door opening, she looked back and saw Meadow giving her an apologetic grin.

"Sorry bout that."  The girl apologized.

Sky didn't bother to talk as only giving the other a small smile. Meadow hurriedly joined to sit beside her as Sky noticed her holding a tray.

"Here." The other girl said while handing Sky two pills.

Sky looked at her with questioning eyes.

"It's Hydrochlorothiazide and

Prochlorperazine. It'll prevent you from having high blood pressure and from vomiting."  Meadow replied casually as Sky took the pills and the water from the tray while Meadow sat down beside her.

As she drank the medicine, Meadow rubbed rosehip seed oil  on the scar on her cheek.

After that, Meadow handed her one of the bowl from the tray containing a soup.

A thick and hearty potato soup with caramelized leeks and garlic. Topped with Fried Leeks was over in her hands.

Sky was excited as the smell intoxicated her sense and she could feel herself pairing the soup up with some bacon wrapped asparagus.

Meadow also grabbed the other bowl and began consuming it, It was another soup in her hands.

A straight up simple cream of potato soup made from skin on baked potatoes, garnished with thick cut bacon, shredded cheddar, & diced red onion, it was too heavy for Sky to eat so she didn't give her this one.

The silence stringed between them as they were eating their soup, looking in the rain.

Darkened gray smudges of wool threateningly surrounded the sky; like a predator would encircle its prey. A startling low rumble rang loud in the cool fall air, the sky roaring with satisfaction. Trickles of liquid hit the ground with as much force as a small child. Hungrily, drizzles turn into canon fires, barricading everything in its way. A sense of cleanliness caresses the atmosphere, washing away all impurities. A dense earthly sweet smell rises from the ground, enveloping everything within its soft embrace. The skies suddenly settle, as if it were comforted, coaxed even. The fluffy smudges don't part completely although the sun peeks out timidly—and rather look like its preparing for an even more vicious round.

As the sky rumbled and shook, both felt completely at ease. That was until they noticed a multi colored glow approaching in the distance.

Meadow quickly pulled Sky inside and shut the door as the deafening sound came closer, and closer. The two placed their hands on their ears, shielding it from the sound.

They shivered until the sound came from their backyard, bursting the door open, black smoke came inside the house as Both quickly ran away-heading to the living room, with all the shattered glass in the floor.

Even though they thought it was over, another explosion happened on the house beside them, until it completely exploded in each in every house.

The darkness filled the whole house, only the light evident in makin the house visible was the light coming fom the dark clouds outside.

Sky's voiced felt like it rumbled and shook as she headed to a certain silhouette.

"Think you can do something about it?" She asked the other.

"I don't know, I can try though." The other replied as she headed in a nearby electric socket.

She was unsure of what she was going to do but soon after, her hands automatically was placed on the wall as springs of golden yellow electricity carwled over the wall like it was alive.

The sparks and flares eventually made it's way inside of the electric socket at soon the lights around then flickered until the room was was widely to be seen in the open.

Pulling her hand away, Meadow heaved a sigh of happiness as she stared at her hands but eventually Sky came in front of her.

Realizing that, her eyes made it's way to the scene of the whole room, It was filled with shattered glass as if it was meant to be like that for that rest of history.

The two looked at each other in frustration, this is not looking good somehow.

"Stella is here." Sky stated, Meadow just nodded as if she had known it all along.

Scanning again the while place, everyone could tell that this is really a mess.

"What are we going to say to Bluve?" Sky felt soft on her knees when thinking of the horrendous anger Bluve could give her.

"Don't worry, I'm sure he'll understand our situation." Meadow comforted.

Sky just looked down as if regretting something she didn't do, before she could do anything else, both headed to the kitchen and filled theirselves up with water.

The stinging stench of the smoke inflicted with the droplets of rain smells like some kind of dry wood burning with some eggplants in petrichor.

It wasn't long before a knocking sound was heard on the door in front of the kitchen. The knock came quietly first and then there was silence. Sky and Meadow huddled at the wall furthest from the door. The knock was louder and faster this time, Meadow stood next to Sky who stared at the door, unmoving.

Lastly, a soft knock came and Both jumped like the button was hardwired to their brain and strode off to the door.

There was no peek hole but upon opening it, they saw a woman hodded. Her figure was tall and whatsoever force was pinning down into her was madly a ray of sunlight.

The woman looked directly and as the light from inside flickers. Revealing a familiar face, upon descriptions. You can clearly tell that she was only one if a kind.

"Moon?" Sky asked as her lips began to tremble, she didn't know what to do. Should she just hug her or slap her for giving them a miserable life.

Is this isn't enough to make them suffer?

"What do you want?" Sky asked. Fed up from all of this. Meadow was also glaring intently at the woman.

Moon, quite not expecting their reactions gently stepped back in amazement.

But after quite a while, she came closer back as looked at them.

"You wanted to end the destruction, am I right?" She asks proving her intentions were very clear and she meant no harm for the little girls.

The two was as quiet as they can be as they nodded their head violently as a response at the woman's question.

"Let me tell you this." She motioned the two girls to come closer, both hesitated for a little moment but eventually gave in to listen.

"The peculiars are the only one who can stop this. You can live peacefully after everything. After you've defeated Stella, cause she wants nothing but destruction upon every Animalias." She whispered in her soft cotton-like voice.

Both Meadow and Sky looked at her with a arched eyebrow.

"What are we supposed to do then?" Sky asked.

Moon smiled and looked at them with gentle and caring eyes like a mother with give her child.

"The Other Peculiars are held captive, I want you to help them so that you can prevent Emperia from Stell's Hands." She explained.

Both of them looked at each other in awe as they looked at Moon again, digging for more information that could find.

"They are—held captive by, Leo. In Ruslan."

This immediately started both as they swore to never go back there again.

This gave them literal chills as their eyes drifted away from Moon, feeling uncomfortable. In which Moon noticed it.

"Please. You guys are the only one who can save Emperia. By the 6th day, Emperia will fully be in the grasp of Stella. You need to stop her from further destruction." She begged which in her lifetime, she hadn't done before.

Filled with hesitation, the two gave in immediately. They themselves also couldn't bear that the whole world was against them but they seem eager to save it from danger.

This made Moon smile as she patted both their hands while a white emitting glow from it seemed to cleanse their whole body from impurities.

Meadow could no longer feel the numbness in both her feet and Sky was no longer Feeling dizzy and her insides felt like it wasn't in bad condition anymore.

Soon after, the woman retreated her hand away from their hands.

"You both need to act fast now." She told them.

"Take the first caravan in Gruacé, Near Pendilor's Time square." She ordered which earned her both a nod from the two.

The gesture made her smile as light embedded in her body and she disappeared in plain sight.

The two little girls were left alone standing there as if those things didn't happen at all. But both eventually made their action as they quickly headed upstairs to change their clothes into their usual ones, Meadow with a gray long sleeved crop with a violet silk skirt and Sky with a fitted black sleeveless crop top and a black army pants filled with pockets.

After filling theirselves up with cheese strings and a canned tuna found in kitchen they began to pack the theirselves up as they headed outside, leaving Meadow with her old Hood and Sky with an Umbrella.

Upon the umbrella come the playful sounds of dancing drops, and from it's rim comes the sight of Animalias that wasn't hurt at all, dripping as if their soul purpose was to bring a sense of ease and calm to the day. And as the rain became more intense, it began to soak the bottom of each pale blue jean leg, deepening the denim to a stronger hue, bringing Sky's shoes to a glossy water-shine.

The houses over the way is still burning, the smoke filled air gives us this halloween blood sun—how fitting. On this, the day that was supposed to rain, the country that has become the worship of carnage and horror. There won't be peacefulness. There won't be a need for damaged and tatty clothing, or fake dismembered limbs for movie sets or halloween.

There is no shortage of the real thing, of the blood that congeals and browns. The very air they breathe is pungent with the odour of the recently deceased and no-one can figure out how they earned this ticket to hell. They live moment to moment on cold ashes that fall with the grace of snow, yet lies over everything living and dead.

But fortunately for them, seems that Pendilor was only blowed up in their homes and none of them was seriously injured. Unlike Ruslan, It wasn't much of a mess as the houses was made out of Strong stones and Marbles. Only a few damages in the glass was evident.

No Animalia among the others in the rain was seriously worried about the condition of their houses, only a couple calling for repair was on the way.

After Meadow looked at her Phone's gps which she found safe an unharmed in her guest room, she felt as if she could fly and bonus—it was full battery. She found out that the Gruacé was a a block away from them and as they headed closer, some familiar Students wearing Highfalls uniform was standing waiting for a bus.

This automatically made both of the Animalia stiff as they made their way in the station and sitting one of the seats. Almost like in a robotic manner.

The 3 other students was busy on their phones as they began typing, the two remained stiff as they could, not looking in t Student's direction.

Soon it was like a nightmare they began to be noticed.

"Model and Vice President of the Art club, Sky Vescho?" The voice asked.

Sky mentally facepalmed and looked at the guy beside her who had clean cut Grey hair with an Eagle as his Animalia.

"Ahahahah! Yes that's me!" She exclaimed nervously as the other two students glanced at her, And Damn it. It looks like Marzia and Demi.

"Sky! Why aren't you in School! We thought something happened to you, Like! Oh Emperia!" Demi faked fainted in Marzia's lap as she exclaimed those words with a heavy french Accent.

Sky laughed awkwardly, as her eyes shifted to Pendilor's Time Square Park Entrance Beside the station they are on.

"Hahaha....I—We, Uh—"

"Oh Gosh! Is that Judge Meadow Hjordis?!"

Meadow flinched as she Heard her name be called, Gosh. Now her cover was ruined, looking back It came from the guy who called Sky's name.

"Uh—Yes, that would be me." She said as she eyed the guy and the there's no one familiar that the girl who had fake fainting Animalia on her lap.

"Omigosh! Don't you remember me! I'm Jace! Like Jace!" He shrieked.

She just nodded awkwardly remembering the time where he had stuffed all of his snack in her locker.

"Yeah, How could I not forget?" She replied with sarcasm.

The guy smiled sheepishly as he Eyed both of them.

"Um, so Bakit di nga pala kayo pumasok? At according to your looks, para kayong pupunta sa club." He stated which made Marzia and Demi nodded.

"Ay—ah, kasi Sembreak!!" Sky gulped her words down as Demi's eyebrow arched.

"Like sembreak up till right now?" She asked which made Sky Nod and Meadow turn her face away from the conversation, making Sky deal all the questions.

"Kahit Exam ngayon?" Marzia asked with suspicion.

Suddenly a bus pulled in and the other three quickly rose up and quickly made their way to the bus, before anything else. Jace turned around and seemed like he was searching for something in his bag.

Then soon, he called out.

"Here!" He shouted as he tossed something, and Sky suddenly catching it saw A bag of Nova chips.

Before she could ask the door of the bus suddenly closed, leaving both of them behind. Sky sat down and Meadow moved closer only to see the Nova chips which made her laugh.

This made her remember that she took one of Jace's snacks, and in a particular occur, it was a Nova chip Snack.

She shook her head as quick as the rain did when a Caravan came to stop by and they both headed inside.

The familiar luscious feeling, and stepping again in the Caravan made them feel fancy and they could literally dance in the air conditioned hallway of the Caravan.

Upon settling theirselves, they began to relax as soon as the the Caravan moved.

The lighty interior did not bother them, but the sound of the rain soothing and the Caravan moving made them both fall asleep.
