Aurora's Spell

Henry's Point Of View.

"Ella?" I asked incredulously.

"Yes," Aurora replied. "Don't act like you do not know what I am talking about."

"What does Ella have to do with anything?" I snapped at Aurora. Jerking my head towards the door, I continued. "I think I asked you to leave my house, Aurora. The door's that way."

Aurora's smile wavered. "You don't have to be mean, Henry. I am only here to make amends, see if we can fix things. I can't fix things with you if you're being difficult."

A part of me wanted to take Aurora up on her offer. There seemed to be nothing but sincerity and hope in those hazel eyes of hers, but for some reason, I couldn't bring myself to.

Gently but firmly, I held her shoulders and kept her at arm's length. "I am not interested, Aurora. Please, see yourself out."

As I spoke, I turned my back to her, heading to my room and silently ending our conversation. Aurora's voice called me back. "Henry?"

I turned back to her. "Yes?"
