Ch 15 Missing

After spending a wonderful weekend with Amelia, it was time to go back to school again. We did the usual role call, bellwork, and classwork for the day when we were about to leave the class though, there was an unusual announcement. The teacher told us Sally would not be coming to school anymore. I couldn't help but to think that maybe this was my fault, maybe it was hard for her to hear I had a girlfriend after she had confessed to me.

After school I made the trip to Sally's house. I knocked on the door are waiting. After a minute Sally answered, when she saw me there she quietly invited me in. I asked her why she was dropping out, and she refused to tell. "was it because I rejected you?" I finally asked. She shook her head and responded, "I think it would be best for you to leave I need to think. Thank you for stopping by." She pushed me out the door and closed it behind her.
