The cat fight

As they both continued to talk about me like I was not even there, I looked around. The weather was perfect for an outing and the town was quite appealing.

"Go for a walk if you want to. I will tell you the details later." I had to give it to him. Ethan always knew what I wanted and how I wanted it. That was all the encouragement I needed when I nodded and walked away from them.

I wanted to explore the place where I was going to live, but a big reason was also that I wanted to run away from every conversation that would end up with them asking me to turn into a wolf.

A lot of girls were looking at me but when I passed them a smile and walked towards them to initiate a conversation. They snorted and turned their heads away. My steps halted midway. What have I done now?

In college, they thought I was a freak due to my tomboyish behavior and over protectiveness of my mother and Nathan. But i was sure i behaved completely normal now!

Sigh! I guess girls are not made to befriend me. Walking away from them, I saw high end malls like in the cities, and a lot of clothes shops and stalls. There was no difference between the buildings, shops, markets and even restaurants and cafes. If not for the fact that I could still see my canines and claws, I would have thought that I would have come to a far away city to explore it.

"Are you the one who came with the alpha?" i nodded and turned to see a beautiful girl in a red bodycon knee length dress. Her hair was loose open and her blue eyes were stunning. With her red lipstick and fair skin she was looking no less than the queen of the vampires I had seen in the films. Yet her flaring eyes and sharp look was telling she was not there for any good reason?

"Yes, I did. Why?`` I asked as I tilted my head and looked at him with confidence. She raised a brow as I did not cower under her gaze.

"I wanted to see what charity he had done this time! Do not feel special, he had a habit of drinking stray animals and providing them home. So, you didn't mean anything to him." came his sharp reply. Was she jealous that he helped me?

A smirk formed on my face when I realized that she must be Ethan's jealous girlfriend or she had a crush on him so she came to crush the nub before it could bloom into a strong flower.

"Why? Who are you to tell me so?`` I asked with a raised brow as I gave him a once over and then shook my head.

"You!" she fumed as she saw a look of disdain in my eyes. She took it as her insult which she could not accept.

"You! How dare you to insult me?" i must say that all those cases are easy to flare. They were too short tempered. I did nothing yet she was ready to tore my flesh and eat me alive. But her lack of response over my question cleared that she was a one sided lover of Ethan.

"What did I do?" I asked innocently as I looked at her and then at her friends.

"Did you see me doing anything?" They even shook their heads and then looked at their friend who was still fuming with confusion.

"So you all are taking her side. Huh? Did you not see how she insulted me?" They all looked at each other with confusion. They were standing there all the time yet they did not see me doing anything.

"Aurora. We should not create a scene. The alpha is near us." her friends reminded her but she was too flared up to care. She snarled at me as if challenging me to fight with her but I just gave her one last look and turned to leave. I would rather go and try any of that restaurant than arguing with a rotten princess who thought that the world belongs to her.

"You!" Before she could speak further or create more issues, I entered one of the cafes.

I sat there while looking at the menu and the ambiance. The place was silent and warm. I could see a group of friends sitting in the other corner. A woman in a business suit having her coffee silently, and two boys having their snacks while jotting something on the paper.

"How can i help you, ma'am?" my eyes moved away from the customers towards the young waiter who asked me what i needed.

I felt embarrassed. I did not have money or anything. Even my clothes were tattered with all that running. U just entered to avoid Aurora, the rotten princess.

"Umm, i do not have money. If that worked here. Lol. I didn't even know how these restaurants work! I was just exploring my new surroundings." I told him the truth as lying would not take me anywhere. I had thought that he would be confused or angry by my blabbering but surprisingly he was patient enough.

"Aah, then let me help you in giving a tour of this place and a coffee for my side.'' I shook my head. How could I take advantage of a waiter? How much did he even earn to offer me such a great deal.

"No, I think I am fine. I should better be going.`` I replied as I stood up ready to leave.

"Ohh! But Alpha would not be pleased if he would come to know that I did not show you hospitality."
