- Dinner

I immediately started to panic. I realized that when ever Yang Lu plans dinner, something bigs going to happened during dinner. I manage to find a purple long dress with pretty pink flowers on it. And with a few minutes spent on trying on makeup with the help of the previous Yang Fens, it turned out great.

It didn't take me long to find the dinning hall, but it's was still a challenge since my room is basically a mini courtyard.

Before I could knock on the door to enter the dining hall, I heard my mother, "Fen you may come in."

I was surprised that mother could sense me but I decide not to let her wait for me even for one more second so I opened the door.

Once a opened it, I could see my mother sitting in her chair with a smile that could stun anyone that looks and the cause of this simply because how gentle it looks.

After coming back to my sense from her radiant smile, I decided to sit on her left side.

"How do you feel sweetie?"

"I'm just fine Mon, thank you for helping me recover."

"Anything for you sweaty, now ready to start dinner?"

I gave her a simple nod.

Yang Lu summoned her chiefs to start dinner preparations. I know what's going to happen next based of the previous Yang Fen's memories.

"So I'm guessing that you want me to explain why I wanted those magical beast books?"

"Yes"

"Alright, well it started during the middle of the night ..."

I started to explain why I need those books, I told her about the random memory about a strong cultivating technique and I had to lie half of it to make it more believe than saying "Hi I'm a random soul that took over your daughters body after the passed away this morning" .

Yeah no, definitely not going to say that.

My mother seems so happy but her mood is about to take a turned to explained the downsides.

Young Lu ask in the most curious and serious way.

"The other downside is that theirs more information about this technique in my head but it seems that I can't comprehend anything more about this scroll until I get stronger in my cultivation levels."

We continued talking about my new set of memories of this cultivation technique until dinner was heading towards our way.

"Dinner is ready to be served Mistress." as the maid said this, she started putting out one of my favorite dishes, chicken.

I couldn't resist the chicken and took the first bite, and I did use my table etiquette, I'm no savage.

My mother smiled, looking very pleased with herself.

As we eating, I realized I still haven't ask about getting a magical beast to help me cultivate. I waited until my mother finished eating and our dishes being taking.

"Mother, is it possible that I can head to the outskirts of the 'Crimson Cold Forest' in search of magical beast to call as my own."

"Sure but on these two conditions ," looking straight as my mother full of attention,"The first one is that you must find a party tomorrow to take you to the outskirts, I will put up a reward for the sect tonight."

"This condition is fair but what is the second one?"

"The second one is to get a peak rank 1 magical beast tomorrow."

"WHAT", I yelled without realizing this.

"Simple, I'm going to give you two blood pendants, just simply add a small amount of blood. Doing this will bound the pendants to you and any magical beast below the early rank 2 can can be affected."

I was surprised such a item exists in this world,"When can get these two pendants?"

"Tomorrow, as soon as a disciple accepts a mission."

I nod in agreement with this. We discussed more about tomorrow's plan and headed to my room.

As soon as I entered, I quickly changed into a gown and headed to my bed.

"This life is going to be a challenge but I won't let anyone get in my way to get a pet."

After saying this, I fell asleep with a smile dreaming about what magical beast I try to obtain.
