As the crowd murmured, the small dot on the horizon started to slowly expand as even the worst of sight could see that something was coming closer to them.
Soon, the caravan transformed from a dot to a blot on the horizon.
From a blot to a shadow.
And from a shadow to a discernable shape.
The moving shape on the horizon drew closer until the average citizen in the military camp was able to see multiple wagons drawn by horses across the muddy field as they seemed to carry goods along their travel pathway.
And, sooner than later, the caravan had arrived at the doorsteps of the military camp, where the highest military officials stood as they greeted the arriving Lieutenant.
"Thank you for your hard work Lieutenant Cleatus," The leading commander of the camp said as she gave a salute to the man arriving at the gates and getting off the wagons.
"It is my pleasure Commander Liana," Lieutenant Cleatus said as he saluted back to the military camp's leading woman.
As both soldiers gave their respects, other people started getting off the wagons, and soon, three handsome soldiers revealed themselves to the outside world as they held gigantic bags over their heads with size that was way beyond reasonable.
One of the young men had blond hair with blue eyes. He seemed to carry a feeling of mischief around him as he looked at his surroundings with an amused smile, despite the punishment he was currently being put through.
The person to the left of him was a young man who had long black hair in a ponytail with brown eyes and an expression of maturity on his visage. He had a certain protective quality about him that can make people feel comfortable and safe when in his presence.
And the last one of the trio was a young man with shoulder-length dark brown hair and green eyes that gave a somehow perfect ratio to his handsome face, while his naive look and forest optimism showed that he probably hadn't talked to a woman in his life.
Sarah gave a good hard look at these three men along with the Lieutenant that gave a few cold stares toward the three suffering men in short intervals at uncertain times.
'I think these four have a bit of drama going on between each other,' Sarah thought as she looked at the scene with a sly smile.
But as she continued observing the three men, she was suddenly hit with notifications informing her of a new quest.
[Quest Conditions Met!]
[New Quest: Information is the Best Type of Seduction!]
[Information is the Best Type of Seduction: Seduce the lieutenant of the resupplies caravan and get information about Damian or anything closely related to him.]
[Hint: Seduce the three people the lieutenant hates the most to increase the chances for successful Seduction.]
[+1000 Seduction Points for every successful Seduction between the three Hated Targets]
[Current completion: 0/3 Hated Targets Seduced]
[Reward upon completion of quest: 10,000 Seduction Points, Information about Damian.]
'What the fu-' Sarah suddenly started thinking very 'good words' in her mind as she looked at the quest information in shock
This quest was insane!
Or was she going insane?
'No, calm down Sarah. Just read it again. That can't be right,' Sarah thought as she tried to reassure herself
Sarah started re-reading the entire wall of notifications until she stopped at the Hated Targets section and the rewards section in the messages.
She took a deep breath when she read the number of Seduction Points this quest was going to give her.
It was 13,000 Seduction Points!
She would only get around a few thousand Seduction Points per quest she completed, but over here, she was getting a whopping 13,000!
Sarah only needed enough to reach the next realm, which was only about 1000 Seduction Points.
She was already planning on meeting some people from the resupply caravan and getting some easy seduction points from them. Afterwards, she would meet the lieutenant and use all of her newly upgraded skills and try to seduce him. Which would then lead him to give information to her about Damian.
But in the end, the system made that entire thought process of hers into a system mission, and it even gave out a ridiculous reward for completing it.
The system even gave her tips on how to seduce the lieutenant by giving her a separate side quest along with the main mission where she would gather information about the lieutenant through the three Hated Targets.
Sarah didn't know why the system gave her a quest about what she was already going to do. It felt like giving gold to a random stranger just for breathing.
The mission felt unnecessarily rewarding.
Well, it was free Seduction Points, so why would she complain?
'But this changes everything...' Sarah thought as she looked at the last message in her system notifications.
This mission had just become way too important.
There was no way she could not do the quest now, even if she never wanted to.
The reward from the quest was going to give her information about Damian.
This was very important for Sarah.
But also very bizarre.
Sarah soon started to realise that this quest had more than meets the eye.
But, what Sarah didn't know was that this quest had a deep meaning that she couldn't possibly fathom.
A meaning, she was far away from realising.
But for now, Sarah had to focus on the present situation and try and identify the three Hated Targets the system was talking about.
Fortunately, Sarah didn't have to look for even a few seconds to realise who the lieutenant hated the most in the camp.
It was the three men holding the massive bags over their shoulders as they followed behind the lieutenant into camp.
For some reason, the lieutenant had a grudge against them that somehow escaped Sarah for the present moment.
But, that didn't mean she wasn't willing to find out.
Sarah smirked to herself as she already started to plan the way she was going to get information on the three men.
'It's time for some recon!'

Three men walked behind a lieutenant as they held bags that were brutally heavy.
"Alright! At first, I was fine with this. But that was before the lieutenant started shaking hands with every soldier he met!" Anthony whispered with frustration. His previous possible demeanour warped into a face of pure pain.
"Hey, you should at least be happy the lieutenant is social," Michael whispered back while he gave a smile that didn't reach his eyes to the man that caused all of this to happen.
"If you at least didn't scream so loudly when we got off, we wouldn't have to hold these goddamn heavy bags," Phil said as he gave a side eye to the man standing beside him.
Anthony gave a sheepish expression before he suddenly clammed up when he felt a cold gaze land on the side of his head.
BAM!
"The hell are you chatting behind my back for, huh!" The lieutenant suddenly said as his fist was raised above Anthony's, now swelling head.
"Shit! I'm sorry lieutenant, it won't happen again!" Anthony suddenly saluted with a straight back as he shouted his apology.
"Your apologies aren't going to help you private! After all of you bring my bags to the tent, you're going to run 10 laps around this entire fucking military camp! And you're going to do it with extra weight," Lieutenant Cleatus said as he practically breathed fires out of his nose from anger.
He was fuming!
"Sir, yes sir!" Anthony said as he saluted once again and bowed his head.
As Anthony bowed his head, Phil saw him mouthing off something.
'Please, help, me?' Phil thinks as he tried to read Anthony's lips.
Phil takes a moment to think about this for a moment before he gave a gentle smile to Anthony.
'Good luck. And may Lucanus keep you sane,' Phil thought as he made a circle with his two fingers and moved it to his forehead, then moving it to his heart.
Anthony looked at Phil's smirk and saw him do the motion with his fingers in a ring shape.
'That bastard prayed to Lucanus!' Anthony thought as he felt a bitter taste forming on his tongue.
'If Phil won't help, then I'm sure Michael will,' Anthony hoped as he looked at Michael with optimism in his heart.
'Please help me, Michael!' Anthony mouthed the words as he saw Michael look at him.
When Michael saw Anthony desperately asking for help he came up beside him and patted his back as he bent down to talk to him.
"Don't worry it's going to be all okay. Me and Phil are always going to be with you," Michael said aloud while he whispered something else to Anthony's ear.
"Will you let me date your sister?" Michael asked as he gave a hard pat on Anthony's back.
'Fuck no!' Anthony mouthed to Michael as his brow trembled for a moment.
"And of course, I mean in a spiritual sense," Michael said aloud as he finished the sentence before Lieutenant Cleatus and Phil.
'You goddamn traitors!' Anthony thought in his head as he stood up while following behind the lieutenant with his two other friends.
"Hey, do you think he'll be fine?" Phil whispered when he saw Anthony's expression when he got up from his bowing position.
"I think he'll be fine. We do this all the time to each other," Michael whispered back as he gave a reassuring nod to Phil.
"It's just a small prank, I'm sure he'll forgive us. We just got to get a lot of booze and women," Michael said as he gave a smile to Phil.
Phil suddenly blushed when he heard 'woman' and immediately turned his head to the front of the road as they finally saw Lieutenant Cleatus' tent upcoming.
Anthony, Michael, and Phil, all entered Lieutenant Cleatus' tent as they came to unpack the lieutenant's baggage.
But as all of this was happening, a shadow watched them as they made the bed of the lieutenant and fixed up the other furniture and items that the trio had brought along with him.
One of these items was a book filled with mana as it seemed to hold precious information about the lieutenant's deepest darkest secrets.
Secrets that nobody could know of.
Started moving houses recently, and it has been hectic. Uploads are getting hard at the moment.
So don't expect a new chapter coming out anytime before saturday, this week.
Hope you guys enjoyed this chapter nonetheless!
