Chapter 94 Bliss

He opened his eyes slowly to the dark room. His eyes were still blurry. This was the first time he had really slept for the first time in ages. He had always imagined what it would be like to sleep without worries and nightmares. His eyes were faced to the ceiling of the room as he was in a daze. He couldn't believe it. He is Nicholas Alviero Ross. He is the dark man. He had never slept deeply in his entire life. He didn't even know how to feel at this moment.

If he was ever told talking to her before going to bed was going to be that peace he needed, he would have done it earlier. He would have abducted her earlier. He would have never let her out of his sight all those years.

It was a new feeling, a feeling that he had always longed for. He wanted to feel like a normal person for once in his life. For once in his life, he didn't have to worry about anything. No calls, no texts, no business meetings, no Meredith. For the first time in his life, he felt a little bit normal.

All his life, he grew up being treated like a boss, being treated like the lord of empires. He had been raised like royalty. He never had a childhood, because, in the eyes of his caretakers, he was their boss. He will always be superior to them and that was how he was treated. No toys, no friends, nobody of his age to talk to, relate to or even share experiences with. He never played, he never got injured, and he was spotless. He was trained to always be above every one and every other person was below him.

He was trained to never trust, to never have friends, to never smile, to never apologize, and to never live for himself but for his family. He was never happy. He had never been happy. He just lived because he had to live. He was trained to always get what he wanted.

The only light in the room was from the break of dawn. His eyes suddenly moved as they searched for where the light came from. His eyes were now adjusting to the realization of wokeness.

He adjusted the sheets as he got up. His hair was not even as if he had slept because it was far from messy. Even in his sleep his royal cautiousness still played off.

The only cloth on him was his dark royal blue pajama pants. He slept shirtless because he felt so much heat after talking to her the previous night— he always feels hot whenever she is around him. God, she made him feel so many things whenever she is around.

She makes him forget all his principles and makes him just want to say 'fuck it' to the entire world.

He put his feet inside the extremely soft, fluffy slippers immediately his legs were down. His steps were soft, his rock-hard abs were exposed, his skin was the lightest shade of yellow, his eyes were dim, and his face was without wrinkles. It was as if he never even slept one bit because he was flawless— see what I mean when I said he is spotless?

He walked to where the light came from and got rid of it immediately, covering the shades with the dark curtains in front of the balcony. He had never been a fan of bright places or even hot places. He'll lose his mind. He hates both things but he hates hot places the most. His room is the coldest place in the entire building and he never reduces the room temperature. Ever.

He looked around the room and noticed that the maids had just finished cleaning. He wondered when they entered the room— even if he had never seen them enter before. Those were one of the mysterious things he hadn't figured out yet.

He walked to the large couch that looked small because of the largeness of the room. He sat down and rested his head backward as he thought of her. She was the only exciting thing in his life. The only thing he wants to always think about is the only person that makes him feel better.

Her words made him smile as he remembered how nervous he made her feel— it was the second time he had ever smiled. For the first time since he met her, he saw her face redden. He saw her white skin give up on her. He felt fulfilled. He felt his abdomen shiver.

He stood up from the couch and walked into the bathroom. He was totally calm. He was still in the bliss of her words and didn't want to come out from it.

"The offer still holds zhavia. Be my empress. He hesitated for a while before he spoke again. "Please".

How did he become this helpless? How did she make him beg?

Her eyes were on him and they never left his face. How could she stop looking at those beautiful eyes he had? He was more than perfect. He is the definition of perfection.

The shock was evident in her eyes and he saw it. He saw her lips part, he saw her eyes widen, he saw it all.

"I-i can't think". She stuttered. Her heart was racing as she had just run a marathon. "Y-you're confusing me". Her eyes were still on his.

I confuse you?

You fucking confuse me too.

He couldn't believe she just said that to him. He knew the effect he always had on people but he didn't think he affected her too.

This is a big deal. He fucking affects her.

He couldn't hide the huge grin that popped on his face as he looked at her. "I confuse you?"

Her eyes opened with shock as the realization that she just stayed that out loud hit her. His grin widened. That would be the second time he saw the shock boldly written on her face. He had never been this excited in his entire life.

"I-i just need time to think about it". She stuttered again.

He couldn't believe it. This is zhavia McKay sitting right before him stuttering. He is fucking making her stutter and confused. She even asked for more time to think about it.

Fuck, it is happening.

She just fucking gave him some hopes without even realizing it.

"Okay". His eyes were still on her. He is still surprised at how calm he is. He is not someone that is always patient but there was something about her that makes him want to wait. He doesn't care how long it would take as long as she is with him. He doesn't even care if he has to wait for an eternity.

With that assurance, he lifted himself from her gaze as he turned towards the direction of the door. His steps were far from Swift. He walked calmly as he suddenly stopped in front of the door. His back was all she saw as his deep voice echoed.

"Goodnight". He didn't even wait for a reply as he exited the room.

He let the hot water pour down his back as a sigh escaped his lips. He felt like a baby. His eyes were closed as he allowed the water to do its job. It was so soothing. It felt so good.

Somehow, he had a feeling the day was going to go smoothly.

~~~~
Tiger opened his eyes as eyes went to the man underneath him. His head was on his chest. He could hear his heartbeat, they were soft and calm. He was still asleep.
Fuck!  he was sleeping right next to Klaus and his head rested on his chest. His heart was racing profusely. He didn't even know what and how to describe the excitement he felt at the moment.
He couldn't believe it. He must be dreaming. Did the previous night really happen?
 His hands were on Klaus's chest. He caressed it lightly. It felt so real, it sent chills to his spine.
He raised his hand to pinch his face as his voice registered in his head.
"You're not dreaming, babe". Klaus muttered.
Did they really do it?
His voice was low. His eyes were still shut. There was a smile on his face as he spoke.
Babe?
Did he just call him babe?
He felt the butterflies immediately in his abdomen as a smile escaped his lips. He raised his head to his face, he wanted to look at the face of the man that stole his heart without even trying hard.
He moved forward and closer as the pain hit him. The evidence of their previous night. The most incredible night of his entire life. If he was told that he would get all the love he ever needed in life from a man, he would quickly deny it. Now, he couldn't even stay a single second without him.
"Hi". He muttered.
"Hi". Klaus responded as he planted a soft kiss on his lips.
This was real.
This is all so real.
