No way to escape

The fact that she was half naked right now made matters worse and she doubted the man even cared in the slightest. "Don't come any closer" Cathy warned even though she was scared as hell right now. She walked away from him and while her eyes swiftly landed on her clothes on the bed, she didn't need to think twice as soon as she remembered she had an ultimate weapon up her sleeve.

Cathy ran to the bedside as she quickly reached out for her dress checking inside the pockets as she brought out a small knife pointing it was Nick who tilted his head at her. What did she think she was doing?

"Just leave me alone please. If you come any closer I swear...…" Cathy was still talking when the man appeared at her front again. The edge of the knife making contact with his chest to have Cathy quickly retreat. She wasn't planning on killing him. She just wanted to make him leave her room. Did he not have any shame? He was in her room at such an hour in the night with her half naked.

"Don't make me stab you"Cathy threatened not knowing the knife she was pointing at the vampire could do little to no damage to him. Cathy raised the knife at him again, noticing that he was still trying to move closer. Did he think she wouldn't  do it?

Cathy tried her best to defend herself, but the man seemed unfazed by the knife she held. It left her feeling powerless and scared.she watched him lazily take the knife from her using no effort at all while she had used all her strength to stop him but he was unbelievably really strong. "If you know what's best for you...…." He trailed off as Cathy watched him use the knife to slit his wrist.

She wondered what he was doing, hurting himself but was only left shocked when she saw the wound he had inflicted on himself healed almost immediately to have her eyes widen instantly. Ho…..how did that happen?

"Leave my brother alone and go back to where you came from" Nick completed his earlier statement but the girl was too stunned to speak right now as she moved back from him. She had never seen or heard anything like this before. How come they existed and no one knew about them?

"Or should I just kill you instead?" Nick said with a slightly mischievous tone but it felt more like a threat.she noticed his fangs becoming sharper, his red eyes glowing as she could now hear the rain pouring outside while his feets moved steadily towards her while she kept trying to look for a way to escape even though she knew she was trapped.

Nick looked at the girl.no existing mercy was in his eyes as he had now successfully trapped the girl where she couldn't run anymore. His hands slowly moved to reach out for her neck but just as his hands were about reaching her neckline, a gush of wind passed them by and before anyone could comprehend or could think of a next line of action, Nick was already pinned to the wall with a sword stuck to his gut but the man neither winced nor struggled to break free.

Cathy looked between Nick who was now pinned to the wall with a sword and Ronald that was now in the room with them, his hands leaving the sword he had used to pin his brother to the wall, his eyes going to meet hers which was staring at him with so many questions in them.

"Who gave you permission to touch her?" Ronald directed his question to Nick but his eyes were still very much on Cathy. "When were you planning on telling her" Nick diverted the question, his voice filled with mockery which Cathy could very much notice.

Ronald's eyes shifted to look at Nick who looked unbothered In the slightest even after being pinned to the wall with a sword. "Did I not tell you to stay away from things that are mine?" Cathy noticed the aura around him had turned darker, making her shiver. She didn't know whether it was due to the rain falling, probably making her cold or because of this man. She watched him abruptly draw out the sword from Nick's belly only to put it back in again but this time, Cathy noticed the way Ronald kept twisting and turning the sword to have the man groan finally reacting to the pain.

Cathy gulped down hard watching the scene play out in front of her. The way he mercilessly kept twisting the sword against the man's gut made her flinch as she wondered if he would be okay after this although she still wondered how he was still alive even after all these.

"Did you plan on keeping her in the palace full of vampires without telling her? Common Micheal I know you are smarter than...." Before Nick could complete his sentence, a punch was quick to land on his face but the man only laughed instead.

Already seeing enough this night, Cathy wanted to get out of there but how could she? When she was still wrapped in her towel right now. Cathy glanced at the two brothers one more time before picking up the dress she had placed on the bed as she ran to the bathroom making sure to shut the door behind her.

She was glad Ronald didn't stop her as she quickly put on her dress, her body embracing the warmth it finally got. She tried to slow the racing of her heart down but whenever she remembered what had happened in the room just now the fear only gripped her more as she was now panicking.

There was no guarantee she would live another day after what had just happened. Since she already knows what they were, they wouldn't risk the chance of keeping her alive for the whole world to know what they had been hiding all these while.

Cathy bit on her lip wondering what to do but there was nothing. She was trapped and there was no way out. How did she end up getting into this mess anyways? Why was her life so complicated?

Taking a deep breath in and out, Cathy walked over to the door side placing her ear on the door to check if they were still in there but no sound came from the room. Had they gone? Cathy questioned inwardly as she waited a few minutes more and still didn't hear a single crack from the other side to have her open the door of the bathroom slowly wanting to peek inside the room but was only met with a pair of dark eyes and Cathy could feel her heart jump.
