New things to learn

This is a freaky experience to Lenard. He never thought that one day he will be this cruel to throw a human corpse into a boiler room, in order to disperse from their block to not attract any suspicions. And what is the bad thing, it is that this human was only doing his job, and it wasn't like the other guards, he didn't try to use brutality on them like the colleagues are doing to almost every inmate at three hours when they are either horny or they haven't gotten their coffee.

Lenard and Rodriguez have arrived at the boiler room, which is connected to their Block and also with West block. There, Rodriguez opens the door of the big furnace where the fire it is put in order to heat up the cells in a cold season, and today it is a cold season because it is Autumn already, even though yesterday were about 42 degrees Celsius. Yeap. Global warming has gotten worse after the whole continent's governments decided to build additional artificial islands to make the world much bigger and gain much more money from industries.

These two men threw the corpse of Greg there, and after that, they leave the room without saying a word, but Rodriguez could see that Lenard is shivering like crazy after the thing he has done at this moment. When they entered the North Block, Rodriguez asks Lenard while these two are going to their cells.

"You want to talk about it?"

"...What am I doing here?!" says Lenard, almost yelling. "I am innocent, man. Why am I committing crimes instead of being a good man?"

"Man. I know it is hard." says Rodriguez to his cellmate. "But you have got to remain strong here or else you will be destroyed and used or as a shield or thrown away like a rag doll. Listen. It was also hard for me here, but with time I become another person. Not even my parents would be able to recognize anymore"

These two inmates are entering their cells, Lenard is going on his bed, and he is trying to take a nap while Rodriguez is staying on the chair to desk of this cell and proceed to write on a notebook. Before he was about to write, he took a peak at Lenard to be sure he is not awake, or he has already fallen asleep. And the man has fallen asleep as quickly as possible, and this made Rodriguez glad because he has to write something entirely classified.

"Day 810. The things have taken a turn from zero to one hundred as quick as possible when the King has ordered me and my cellmate to capture Greg Guard, one of the most massive guards out here, and bring to his Majesty in order to obtain a code. The man was trying to give us a fake code, but he didn't get a second chance. He got shot without even saying anything. The King it is a murder, not a justice. He also ordered me and Lenard to take this corpse and threw him into the furnace of the boiler room, and it was a scary experience for dear Lenard. I didn't try to console him, because he handles it fine... I think." Then, he takes a small break to think about what to write next. After almost eight minutes, he takes the pen and proceed to continue his writing. "I think the King is going to send us in other mission, and he is also thinking of creating a new chance of escape. He didn't tell us that, but I can figure out after his way of acting. He truly wants to take another chance and start a rebellion against these guards.".

Then, Rodriguez closes the notebook, he puts it into a small cabinet to the other notebooks. A metal cabinet which contains other notebooks and a few pieces of letters from their parents and "friends" he had once outside, but now they have forgotten about them. He sees in that cabinet a photo of Gary Smith he has once given to him, together with the letter telling how bad he is feeling for ruining his friend's life, but Rodriguez ignores that letter like he always does.

Rodriguez goes to the cell, he opens it, leaves the cell, closes the metal bar cell, and he is heading somewhere to chill, while his cellmate is taking a nap after everything it has happened recently.
