Chapter 62: Unlocking the Store, New Skills

"You must be exhausted after completing your recent mission, Zhang Fan. Rest well today; we can talk more tomorrow," Little Tear's Sister suggested with a knowing wink, leading Little Tear out of Zhang Fan's room. Despite her reluctance, Little Tear couldn't protest much, given the pretext of letting Zhang Fan rest, and left with a pout.

Zhang Fan pondered over Little Tear's Sister's suggestive glance. Was she implying that she would handle Little Tear's concerns? What was her true intention? Curious, yet unable to inquire further as she had already left, Zhang Fan decided to revisit this mystery later.

The night passed uneventfully, and the next morning, Zhang Fan stretched leisurely in his own room, finding comfort in its familiarity. 

Stepping out, he was taken aback to see Little Tear and Rebecca cheerfully preparing breakfast together in the kitchen. This harmonious scene left him utterly baffled. How had things changed so drastically overnight?

"What's happening here, Zhang Fan? Why are you just standing there?" Little Tear's voice came from behind, snapping him out of his daze. Was this amicable atmosphere her doing?

"Little Tear's Sister, what's going on? Have you cast some sort of spell?" Zhang Fan gestured incredulously towards Little Tear and Rebecca. He had dreamt of creating a harmonious harem, but this sudden and seamless integration was overwhelming and suspiciously smooth.

"What's wrong with this? Isn't it good?" Little Tear's Sister responded with a sly smile, but her eyes twinkled mischievously, confirming Zhang Fan's suspicion of her involvement.

"It's good, but why do I have this chilling feeling?" Zhang Fan narrowed his eyes at Little Tear's Sister, trying to decipher her plans. However, she remained inscrutable to him.

"It's just a feeling, nothing more," she replied, tapping his forehead lightly, before Rebecca noticed them from the kitchen.

"Zhang Fan, you're awake! And Little Tear's Sister too! Come to the dining room; breakfast is almost ready. Little Tear has taught me a lot," Rebecca called out cheerfully, clearly enjoying herself.

The breakfast was a pleasant affair, with everyone engaging warmly. Little Love and Tearful Child quickly bonded with Rebecca, especially Little Love, who was of a similar age and shared a fascination with the eighteen-year-old genius and her short hair.

After breakfast, Zhang Fan decided to organize his gains from the mission. He had accumulated a significant number of points and planned to enhance his abilities.

First on his agenda was to spend 1000 game points to unlock the store, which would grant access to new skills and weapons. As he summoned the system interface, Little Tear's Sister inquired about his intentions.

"Unlock the store for 1000 points?" She confirmed, maintaining a professional demeanor.

Zhang Fan chose to unlock the skill store first. Instantly, the once sparse selection expanded dramatically, offering an overwhelming array of options.

"Just the skill store for now. If needed, you can unlock more," Little Tear's Sister advised casually. Encouraged by her suggestion, Zhang Fan explored the newly available skills.

He spent 800 points on the second-tier skill "Huashan Sword" and 1500 points on the third-tier "Tai Yue San Qing Feng." He refrained from acquiring the fourth-tier skills for now, focusing on mastering the new ones.

With 14450 points remaining, Zhang Fan contemplated his next move. Little Tear's Sister suggested unlocking the weapon store from "Call of Duty 6" for potential surprises.

Intrigued, Zhang Fan unlocked the weapon store, revealing not only firearms but also skills. He found that he could now acquire skills like "Enhanced Firepower" and "Silent Death." However, these skills were limited, and he could only equip four from this store at his current level.

After careful consideration, Zhang Fan chose "Extreme Sprint" and "Double Burst," spending another 1000 points. "Extreme Sprint" briefly doubled his stamina, while "Double Burst" increased his firearm attack speed by 35%.
