Chapter 39: Teaching the Female Warrior to Shoot

Zhang Fan did not confront Wesker or Chief Brian Irons like Chris and the other fervent youths. He knew such actions would be fruitless since both Wesker and Irons were already in cahoots with the Umbrella Corporation. Instead, Zhang Fan focused on honing his skills and preparing for upcoming battles. Meanwhile, he also needed to have a proper discussion with Tomoyo.

"I knew it, senior. You are also a player in the God's Game," Tomoyo said to Zhang Fan after their mission ended. Since Zhang Fan mentioned Kouhaku High School, it was clear that he was no ordinary person.

"Would you like to collaborate with me on this mission? I have some understanding of it, and I believe we can succeed more easily together," Zhang Fan proposed, sensing a good opportunity for cooperation.

"Is that possible?" Tomoyo's eyes lit up at the idea of partnering with Zhang Fan.

"Absolutely, there's no problem at all!" Zhang Fan assured her, and so their partnership was formed.

"Tomoyo, you don't have much knowledge about firearms, do you?" Zhang Fan observed, deciding to teach her some shooting skills.

"Of course, I'm just an ordinary high school student!" Tomoyo replied matter-of-factly, unaware of her extraordinary nature.

"Well then, ordinary high school student Tomoyo, would you like me to teach you some handgun shooting techniques?" Zhang Fan teased, emphasizing the word "ordinary."

"Thank you, senior," Tomoyo responded politely, despite feeling slightly teased by his tone.

Thus began their first lesson at the shooting range. Zhang Fan took his role seriously, teaching Tomoyo about the basic structure of firearms and the principles of shooting. Under his guidance, she quickly grasped the concepts, greatly benefiting from his instruction. For the next few days, they practiced together at the range until one day, Jill approached Zhang Fan.
