Author:- This novel has magic and all the stuff that's definitely sci fi but I try to make it a bit relateble to science.

Who Am I?

It had been around around half an hour since this day's event had ended. Most of the people were still here and they didnt show any signs of leaving any soon.

Because of this the boy wanted to leave because he had got enough knowledge of the world and was also getting bored. He still had much more to know about the world but he got the basics, like in this continent there are seven kingdoms.

The kingdom he was in is called the Hail kingdom. The kingdom has a lot of hail storms so thats how the name was given.

He also got to know more about the academies which were in the continent.

His main plan of action is to learn about the control and manipulation of Mana. But right now he had to find out who he was. He couldnt always just call him by his old world's name. He had a new name, a new family, new friends all he had to do was to find out.

He started walking towards the entrance gate to leave.

Just as he neared to the gate the guards saw the boy and snorted while one of them said "The events have come to such a low that even ditches are allowed."

"Yeah, if I were a ditch I would have already jumped of a building or something." Another guard added.

They didnt do anything to hide their thoughts, the people around them could easily hear what they were speaking.

Which was very beneficial to the boy, even though he knew they were trying mock him. He didnt feel angry as he didnt know what a ditch even meant.

He had also heard some people talking that a ditch was present in the event, he also noticed that they had a face of disgust while they were talking about it. Now he knew that he was the ditch so he was very curious to find out who or what a ditch is?

Is it a rank in society because thats probably it since he was just wearing plain leather clothes while others were dressed in beautiful and colourful clothing.

He stopped walking and stood in the middle of the open gate, he turned his head sideways and stared at one of the guard.

Everybody near the gate had heard what the guards had spoken and they were curious to know what was going on.

All of them could see a kid around 9 years old wearing a blood stained leather top standing right in front of the gate and staring at one of the guards as if he was looking straight into the guard's soul.

The boy did it because he thought the guard would be enraged and reveal some more information. Which the guard exactly did "You, a ditch dares to look straight into the eyes of a knight!" He said while he appeared in front of the kid and picked him up by the collar while raging again in front of the boy's face "You are not nobility anymore, You are just a ditch! Remember that, Claydord Aries."

Alas! He got know his name.

He became a bit scared when the guard suddenly appeared in front of him but was relieved when he got what he wanted.

But that changed when he saw the reactions of the small crowd that had formed due to the commotion he caused.

-"Is he really the abandoned son of the Aries family?"

-"So the rumours of a ditch being present in the event were true."

The peoples reactions changed from shock to disgust in only under a second.

Clayford heard a woman saying that he was the abandoned son of the Aries family which probably means that a ditch is nothing but an abandoned child and by looking at the disgust in their faces, it was easy to make out that ditches are looked down upon, in this society.

The guard let go of the boy.

The boy had a cool face even while the guard threatened him which infuriated the guard even more but the guard held back his anger and let the boy go.

Clayford didnt turn around to look at the crowd instead he immediately walked out of the entrance gate and kept on walking until the gate was out of sight.

'*sigh* Had to get myself in trouble, anyways I escaped. Who knows what the people would have done to me if I stayed there longer.

But now I cant go back to the area to watch the fighting competition. Such a nice source of information is lost.

By the way, why were there so many carriages when the emperor came in only one and I didnt even see anybody else exiting the other carriages. Did the carriages have soldiers? But why would soldiers need carriage when they can come in a cart?

Leave it, thinking about it wont do anything.

Now that I know my identity, what should my next move be?' Just as he was thinking a voice rang in his head.

'Its me, Gainis.'

The boy looked around nervously when he heard the voice. He thought that the man had come here too.

'This is a message that I left in your brain before transmigrating you to this world. If I am not wrong its probably been two hours since I sent you to the world. I hope it was enough time for you to figure out the current situation of the world.' Clayford became a bit relieved that it was just a message. 'This message of mine is to teach you of the most basic things in Mana manipulation and control so listen carefully.'
