Ballard VS 3rd Grade Dark Walker II

Ballard and Gainis were floating in the sky just below the clouds.

Ballard had just noticed the change in his surroundings. He remembered that when they were fighting the sun was still rising and the sky was bluish black in colour but now the sun was setting, giving the sky a golden colour.

He also noticed how far they were from the land because before, the lights of some buildings could be seen but now there was none. It didnt take him long to realise that there was literally no land, all he could see was water, endless water.

"Dont worry I telepprted us to an area where nobody can see what we are about to do, so dont worry of exposing yourself to the humans." Gainis said after looking at his confused expression.

It had been 15 seconds since Ballard was punched in the chest which made it cave in and also receive internal damage.

Those injuries had already started to heal. They were no where near to be called healed but the process had already begun. It would take around three to fours before they were to be completely healed but if it was compared with a normal human being, then calling them dead would be an exaggeration, even their bodies wouldnt be found.

Gainis flew straight towards Ballard attempting to damage his internal organs again.

Ballard was swift and fast so he dodged the punch that was beelining to his chest.

Gainis then tried to grab Ballard's hand but Ballard dodged Gainis's hand which was coming in his direction to restarin him.

Gainis then went in for a kick which was aimed at Ballard's vitals, but the attack was again dodged.

He then went for a barrage of punches and jabs, all of them were either deflected or dodged but Ballard didn't dare to block them because he knew the shear strength of the attack would be too much for him to handle.

Ballard was getting more aggressive and frustrated as the battle went on with Ballard just dodging all the attacks until he made a mistake of leaving a blind spot on his vitals and Ballard capitalised on this mistake by stabbing Gainis's left lung with an earth dagger he had just created out of nothing

It was pretty obvious from the battle that Gainis was a really inexperienced fighter whereas Ballard had a lot of battle knowledge and his reflexes were also faster than that of Gainis's.

Ballard could predict what the next attack was going to be.

The battle went on for another minute in which Ballard had gone more on offensive as he had almost figured out Gainis's attack pattern.

Gainis had a few flesh wounds and a few deep wounds but wasn't able to land even a single hit on his opponent, he was getting more and more frustrated to which Ballard started to capitalise even more.

"Ahhhh! To hell with this, I am going all out." Gainis shouted out as he flew a few metres back

Lightning started dancing around Gainis's arm.

The blue coloured bright light shot towards Ballard. It took only a second for Gainis to form and release the attack.

The lightning bolt that was sent towards Ballard was around five feet long and it was like a spear but made of lightning.

As soon as Ballard sensed sensed the lightining bolt, he made a fire spear and released it in the direction of the bolt.

Boom!

Both of the attacks collided creating an explosion but the attack sent by Gainis didnt disappear as the bolt was much more powerful than the fire spear.

The fire spear dissipated and the lightning bolt was still traveling towards Ballard albeit a little slower and weaker.

Ballard knew his attack wouldnt be enough to stop the spear so right after he had released the attack he had made a barrier out of solid air.

The bolt couldnt penetrate the barrier and it dissipated without doing any real damage to Ballard other than draining a bit of his energy.

The whole time Ballard was creating the spear and barrier, Gainis wasnt even paying attention to what was happening, after he released his attack.

He was preparing for a bigger attack.

When Ballard was defending against the lightning bolt, beneath him the ocean could be seen forming into spears, thousands and thousands of spears.

Ballard beacme very surprised and shocked, hadn't noticed the spears until they were a kilometre below him.

It wouldnt take anybody long before they noticed that the whole ocean was in the shape of spears.

The battle was taking place five kilometres above the ocean so the spears would've taken atleast a minute before they reached to the altitude the spears were currently at but it hadn't even been five seconds since Gainis release the lighting bolt.

'How are the spears so close, was he preapring for this attack while we were first fighting. But the attack of this scale would take full concentration. And he couldn't have done this in the span of five seconds while I was defending against the lighting bolt, unless he is a rank 7 dark walker, if he is a rank 7 dark walker then what the hell is he doing on this Korin planet.' he contemplated in his mind as it was quite believeable since dark walkers had low knowledge battle knowledge but extremely good control over elements.

Ballard didn't know what to do as the spears were coming towards his direction at an incredible speed and they also covered a huge amount of area, around 1000 kilometres and it would take them only 5 seconds to reach him so the option of running away was nothing but useless.

He waited for his doom as he looked into the eyes of the person who caused his doom.

Ballard flew closer to Gainis and asked him "Why are you hiding your true strength?"

Gainis took a moment before answering "Beacuse I want to topple this universe's hierarchy, I am sick of it."

Ballard smiled as he understood what Gainis meant and asked a question again "But why this of all the planets in the galaxy."

Gainis chuckled before answering "I just found out that being smart is better than being strong and this planet has those smart people."

Ballard too smiled and said "Good luck, may you succeed."

Right after that, Ballard was impalled with multiple water spears in his body, instantly killing him.

The two hundred thousand tonnes of water that Gainis had turned into spears that were currently above the clouds started to lose momentum and were being converted back into their fluid form. They started to lose their shape and were coming down back into the ocean in the form of droplets.

It rained for about two hours before it stopped. The rain covered and area of about hundred kilometres.

This was the first time in human history that an artificial rain occurred and it was only the beginning of the many extraordinary things that were going to happen on Earth in the future.
