The god council

The rise of the sun announced a new day in the Greek territory, on a specific mountain.

The God of the Sun had woken up, his name is Apollo, and he needs to wake up at the exact time as the giant star for obvious reasons.

Apollo is a man in his mid-thirties s with a height of around 185 centimeters, he has fairly white skin, the deity had a good corporal structure, long cascading black hair, and yellow fluorescent eyes. He is dressed in a classic Greek outfit.

The sun god could be seen heading toward a secluded big structure. This building had big stone walls spreading around it outside and at the center, it had two huge golden doors with two giant hammers depicted in them. As he extends the doors, the sound of a hammer hitting iron could be heard.

Apollo smiled and said, "Hephy! Good morning, how have you been doing. Still looking sharp as ever?".  The god he is talking to is Hephaestus.

"Hey, brother! How have you been, are you here to collect the bow?".  Said Hephaestus while in a huge smile. He liked his brother's visits.

"Yes, but that's not the main reason why I'm here. I came here to check on you. Hephy, you need to leave the forge occasionally, various other gods enjoy your company".

"Really? Like whom?".

"Tetis, Poseidon, Hades, me, Hermes, Athena, Artemis, and many others".

"Really".

Hephaestus, the god of forges and fire, was really happy to receive that information.  Hephaestus is a man in his mid-twenties, he has a deformed spine, short brown hair, tanned skin, red brilliant eyes, and half a face deformed.

Normally people would stay away from him, but some gods and humans would see past his physical deformities, and they enjoyed the time spent in his company.

"By the way, did you hear the news?"  Apollo questioned him.

"No, did something important happens".

"Correct, Krius* discovered a new habitable planet". Apollo delivered the news to Hephaestus, who in turn was shocked.

*Krius is the titan/god of constellations in Greek mythology.

"Really?".

"Yes, and it's five times the size of the earth, it has more natural resources, and it has the same gravity and the same atmosphere as earth, but the planet didn't generate sentient life just trees, flowers, and fruits. Well, resuming, it has only flora".

" Forgive my rudeness, but why are you disclosing this information to me? ".

"It seems all the pantheons want to discuss this matter, so we will go to this meeting in 4 hours".

"Hmm, I need some time to prepare my stuff, OK".

"Sure hephy."

"And the bow is right there".

Hephaestus said as he pointed to a wall where there was placed a shield, a trident, and a long sword.

"Think about hanging out more with us, OK, Hephy". Apollo said as he took the bow out of the wall.

"I will go now, see you later, brother". Said, Apollo as he left the forge.

4 hours skip;

All the gods of Olympus were now in an enormous circular room. In this room, there could be seen various pantheons.

From the Shinto pantheon to the Egyptian one.

The gods were talking with each other when a goddess with red hair and golden eyes spoke, "We will now begin the council of the pantheons".

The goddess in question was Amaterasu*, she was dressed in a red kimono.

*Amaterasu Ōmikami, the Shinto goddess of the sun.

The first god to speak was Zeus "Greetings council, we are here to discuss the news about the new planet that krius discovered. "

Zeus looks like a forty old man, he has white hair with yellow eyes. He is dressed in a white Greek vestment, that screams royalty.

"This new planet is quite fascinating, it is 5 times the size of the earth and it has huge sources of essential materials. Not to mention it could harbor life".  Zeus continued his monologue.

"I bring this up because the earth is slowly dying we can't deny it, the pollution, the toxic waste, and the greenhouse is becoming unbearable. and if the earth dies, Gaia would too, And as a consequence of that, we all would follow them, gods, humans, or animals.  My ideal situation would be to migrate to this new world and establish ourselves and the humans there. "

"What about Gaia? ". Asked a red hair god, he had an ornamented hammer on his waste.

"Thank you Thor for raising that question, I almost forgot. We already talked with her about this possibility and she gave us this". Zeus showed a golden seed.

"This has the essence of Gaia inside of it, which means that Tartarus, Valhalla all of them will be transported to the other world as well of Gaia herself. "

"But what about the distribution of the territory? ". Asked a god with a falcon head.

"Well, we have 8 continents in this world, and the resources seem to be equal for all of them, but the central continent seems to be a lot superior".

"My deal would be to put together a tournament of pantheons to see who gets the most important continent. Which pantheon wins, and gets the continent to call it a home for them and their followers". Zeus continues to explain his idea.

"Father, but how can we be sure that humanity, won't make the same mistakes in this world? ". A goddess with silver hair and red eyes asked.

"Simple, Athena, in the tournament, we will put some sense in their heads by speaking of the harm they are accomplishing with their doings".

"Will that be enough?" Asked Athena who was septic about this resolution.

"We will see".

"And how we will name this planet?". The question was projected by various gods.

"The name decided was Elysium". Said, Zeus
