CHAPTER 1/ The End Of Something Old And The Beginning Of Something New

Hi people, this is my first time writing a story so go easy on and I hope you enjoy this story

MC Pov

I was walking down the main hallway of the hospital I worked at. After doing six full days of work with little to no rest I collapsed. By the time I hit the ground I knew I has dieing and I wasn't going to make it.

'So this how it ends? Dieing from overworking my self to save others?'

'I guess it's ironic, a doctor with fifteen years of experience under his belt died from not knowing his own body's limits. Hahaha, I couldn't help but laugh at my self, well what can I do now? My as well except it'

I closed my eyes only to open them to see I was in a void. I thought to my self.

'So this is what being dead is like'

But before I could finnish that thought I saw a bright light in the shape of a doorway. I got off of what thought was a floor and I began to walk to the doorway and eventually entered it, I saw a bright room with a table and a person sitting at it. As if they could read my mind it said.

"Come doctor we have much to talk about"

I approached the table as I thought to my self.

'I would have thought there would be a chair for me to sit on'

As soon I finnished saying that in my head a chair apeard behind me, so I sat down and waited for the figure in front of me to speak.

The figure then spoke.

"So your most likely wondering where you are doctor. I'll explain, you have died"

When the figure said that I wasn't shocked and that clearly confused the figure in front of me, I then spoke.

"What's going to happen to me?"

The figure looked at me and started to explain.

"You are in the room of reincarnation, and because of your good deeds such as saving lives without judging them you have earned five wishes not including where you want to be reincarnated to and what gender you'll be reincarnated as"

I was shocked to hear that I got five wishes but I already knew where I wanted to go and what I want to use my wishes for. The figure spoke again but this time asking me a question.

"So which world would you like to be

reincarnated into and what do you want to use your wishes for?"

I responded without a second thought I said.

"I want to be reincarnated into the Originals world"

The figure smiled at my answer and asked.

"What do you want to use your wishes on?"

I replied.

"For my first wish I wish to have the ability to learn anything including magic extremely fast"

The figure responded.

"I can do that"

I spoke again.

"For my second wish, I wish to be able to gain the strengths and abilities of others including animals"

The figure started to sweat and responded.

"'I can do that"

I spoke again.

"For my third wish, I wish to be a Trybrid of a Witch, Vampire and a Werewolf"

The figure started to look at me in a mix intrigue and horror when it heard this, but it responded in a calm voice.

"Doable"

I spoke once more.

"For my fourth wish I wish to have a perfect and complete memory of my past life"

The figure started to sweat more then managed calm its self once again and responded.

"I can do that"

I then said my last wish.

"I wish to be one of the Originals"

When the figure heard this it started to slightly shake and responded with a shaky yet calm voice.

"I can do that"

I smiled then I asked the figure.

"What happens now?"

The figure composes them self and responded.

"I'll give you some information about yourself and then you will go and be reincarnated"

I smiled and responded.

"Thanks"

The figure began to tell me about my self such as I'll be reincarnated as the older brother of Niklaus and the younger brother of Elijah and that I'm the illegitimate son of Esther and Niklaus's real father who was a Werewolf. I was ok with this and the figure finnished speaking I started to fade, but before I fully faded away I said.

"Thanks for everything"

The figure responded.

"No problem"

I then closed my eyes and fully faded away.

When opened them I was in the arms of a Witch that only I could assume helped in delivering me. I looked around to see five other witches around Esther and started to heal her and then I heard the Witch holding me say.

"Esther you'll be pleased to know that it's a healthy baby boy"

The Witch then handed me over to Esther just as when Mikael entered the room. Mikael then asked.

"Esther is a boy or a girl?"

Esther then replied.

"It's a healthy boy Mikael"

I was shocked then i could understand what they were saying because from what I watched of the Originals they should be speaking an old language I forgot the name of but what shocked me even more was seeing Mikael, the monster that Niklaus and the others ran from for centuries smile, it was kind of weird to see, he then replied.

"Good well done Esther dear"

Esther layed in her bed, exhausted from just giving birth.

"Thanks..... Mikael have you thought of a name of this little one?"

Now this peaked my interest, whatever he says next will be my name for the next who know how long. After thinking for a few long moments Mikael spoke.

"He's name will be Rainer, meaning Wise army"

To my shock I liked the name, unconsciously I laughed from liking it. Everyone fell silent and looked at me, I started sweat from all their stares. Esther then spoke.

"How cute, our little Rainers laugh is"

Everyone in the room started to smile and agree that I was cute, Mikael then left to bring Finn and Elijah to show them their little brother, which is me.

A few minutes of Esther and the Witches holding me and pinching my cheeks passed when Mikael and my older siblings enter the room, Elijah ran straight to me who was in my mother, Esther's arms and asked Esther.

"Mother what's his name?"

Esther then responds.

"His name is Rainer. Look after him Elijah he is your little brother and that's your and Finn's role in this family"

Elijah then nods his head and turned to look at me, Elijah then asked.

"Mother can I hold him?"

Esther responded with calm yet soothing smile.

"Yes you can, but be gentle"

Elijah then picks me up softly and held me in his arms and then began to talk to me, he said.

"Rainer I'm your older brother Elijah"

Elijah then turned his body to face Finn who was standing next to Mikael so I could see him, and then began to introduce Finn.

"And the person standing next to our father is our eldest brother Finn"

After Elijah introduced everyone to me I began to drift in and out of sleep, Esther noticed this and took me back from Elijah and said quietly.

"Can everyone leave, Little Rainer is about to fall asleep and I also need my rest"

Everyone noded their heads and left the room, I then fully fell asleep.
