THE HEARTH

Everything fell as water from a fall, the nothingness like curtains, Kai was standing in a room, it was rather small, the walls were of a warm brownish-yellow color. There was a young woman, she had silky black hair, her face was kind and had a warm aura she was the most beautiful woman Kai had ever seen. Her Eyes were large, mischievous and captivating, her smile so warm.

Kai felt strange, his stomach fluttered, his shoulders tickled, and a wonderful burst of emotions filled his existence.

The woman was laying on a bed alongside her, a child, a baby who looked so delicate and small. The mother arched over him as if covering his form from all the dangers of the world, shielding the child with her own self. She spoke in an ever so gentle voice, "My baby, my beautiful baby''... the child too turned to smile, then the woman looked directly at where Kai was standing and winked. The scene paused and then again as if water from a fall they got back to the empty nothingness.

Kai had his eyes close, his lips smiling and a trail of tears leaking down his eyes.

"That woman was as you already know Azera, your mother... I have seen that memory before and what surprises me is that wink at you, that never happened when I saw it."

" Kai, next time you visit I will try and find something else for you."

"haan... let's go find something now?"

"Ken is coming back."

Kai blinked; he was sitting on a rock by the pound near Aube.
