Chapter 3:The Test

"Drake Khäôs please place your hand on the stone".Right in front of me was a stone I have never seen before.It is as large as a building and different lights where shinning brightly on it.The first colour was sea blue representing water,then hot read representing fire,sky blue representing wind,Dark brown representing earth,deep blue representing lightning,white representing light, black representing darkness.These colours where shown brightly on the stone.The moment I placed my hand on the stone,the bright colors left the stone and seemed to be entering body.It felt weird because the colors seemed to be searching my whole body for something.It kept on moving in every inch of my body till it all left and the colors entered the stone.Then suddenly all the bright light darkened and non of the colors showed their bright features.I was shocked but I shrugged off the feeling,I always wanted the lightning element even though it was really rare,it was still the most powerful element with a powerful destructive energy.A smirk appeared on my face and I faced the judges to see their shocked faces.I couldn't help but smile because I always knew I was special and my path to power was unique."hmmm,Drake can you come over here for a second"The lightning guild master said.I hesitated for a second but I followed the guild master"Good day sire".I waited for the guild master but all I saw in his eyes where pity and remorse" well Drake you see,I know you must have noticed that the stones colours are now darkened,well that is because of you Drake,am afraid you have no elemental affinity,I know you must be sad but don't give up hope,I have heard of people who unlock their elemental affinity very late,but it really is rare though but still don't give up hope."That was all he said and left to test the next youngster.'After hearing the guild master's words my world came crashing down,but I didn't lose hope,I then swore to myself that even though I have no elemental affinity I will do everything in my power to get an elemental affinity'."Drake,hey Drake"my mum called after I got out from the room and pulled me from my thoughts,she saw my watery eyes and pulled me in an embrace.I was sad but I felt comfortable, secure and proud in my mum's embrace cause thousands of men would kill to even touch my mum cause she is considered the goddess of beauty,her hourglass figure perfectly matches her nice round face with rosy lips and dreamy eyeballs that seemed to be filled with stars.she was amazing.The only reason my mum is secure from the clutches of lustrous men is because they are scared of her.My mum is also considered an independent woman even though my dad is dead.I heard from my friends that my mum is a dual elementalist, with the water and earth elements.Cool right,dual elementalist are really rare cause very few people are dual elementalist,The king of the human kingdom is a dual elementalist himself with the fire and lightning element with a grade B talent that is the second most powerful talent one could ever have.Only few geniuses like my mum and the king have grade B talent,So far we have never heard of anyone with a grade A talent."I understand Drake that you have no elemental affinity but that doesn't mean you should be sad,I think it's time for me to tell you the Truth,first let's go home".We then started our journey home,but my mind was far away from home,what secret could my mum be hiding from me cause she tells me everything.Well whatever it is,it will surely change my life for ever!!!
