“This… can you take off your belt?”

Grandma is still asleep, and Ruby Doris thinks it's too early to go home. She wants to make some food to bring over, but the person's car is still parked outside. She doesn't want to go back to her own home, so she decides to go to a restaurant to buy some takeout.

"Doris, are you going back now?" The driver sees her rushing out and finds it a bit strange.

"No, I'm going to the restaurant now," Ruby Doris replies.

"Doris, the chairman has instructed that from now on, you will live in Queen.K Castle. You can order anyone in the castle as you please," the driver says with a smile.

"Queen.K Castle?" Ruby Doris exclaims in surprise. "Yes, that's correct?" The driver nods, changes lanes, and drives straight towards Queen.K Castle. Ruby Doris gets out of the car, standing in front of the grand entrance of the legendary Queen.K Castle. It's built-in wooden-timber architecture, with towering spires that are grand and magnificent. She feels a bit embarrassed.

"Who was the person I met last night?" Ruby Doris asks, her voice trembling.

"The chairman of the Empire Group, Dai Saint," the driver replies with a special tone of respect.

It takes Ruby Doris a long time to regain her composure. She realizes that she's now involved with such a person. How can she escape now? Her grandma is seriously ill.

She was threatened and hurriedly struggled to get up. Dai Saint immediately picked her up and brought her back to the large bed in the room. Ruby Doris remembered the images from last night, feeling ashamed and blurted out, "No, don't!"

"Don't what?" Dai Saint raised his chin, his eyes full of sneer, "You were already sold to me early on, you have no right to say 'no'!" Ruby Doris was humiliated by him, and a strong thrust in the middle made her scream, "Let me go! It hurts too much!"

Ruby Doris felt her heart beat faster, and at the same time, a rumbling sound came from her stomach, making her face turn red, and she bowed her head and walked away. Dai Saint laughed, seeing her embarrassed figure, "Are you hungry?"

"Um, I'm going downstairs to cook some food," Ruby Doris picked up the clothes on the ground, only to find that they had been crumpled into a pile by him.

He threw her one of his shirts, then opened the closet and grabbed some clothes to wear.

Ruby Doris turned her back to him, and put on the shirt, which was both wide and long enough to become a dress on her.

Ruby Doris sighed and took some meat out of the fridge. She made some soup dumplings and wrapped a few of them. There was also some chicken soup left in the purple clay pot that she had just cooked at noon. She cooked the dumplings in a pan with the chicken soup.

The steam from the hot soup dumplings rose, and she scooped them into a bowl and sat down to eat.

Dai Saint came down from the upper floor, smelling the delicious aroma, looked up and saw the girl eating as if she had never eaten before.

"What are you eating?" Dai Saint's voice was a bit cold. Ruby Doris looked up with a happy and satisfied expression, "Soup dumplings."

Ruby Doris laughed awkwardly. "I didn't know it was for me. I thought it was your midnight snack."

Dai Saint pushed the plate of food towards Ruby Doris and said softly, "Eat this."

Ruby Doris looked at the full plate of food on the table. Would she die of a burst belly if she finished it all? So she looked at Dai Saint and smiled, "Or, shall we eat together?"

Dai Saint was a little stunned. The light in Ruby Doris's eyes warmed his heart. No woman in this house had ever asked him to eat with her.

He nodded and picked up a spoon, sipping the soup gently. Ruby Doris smiled with satisfaction, pleased with her flexibility. She felt happy inside and continued to eat her soup dumplings.

Dai Saint looked up at the girl sitting opposite him, eating happily. He wondered, are soup dumplings really that delicious?

Upon seeing Dai Saint's appearance, Ruby Doris couldn't help but burst into laughter, then she quickly regained her composure and said, "I'm sorry, maybe you should let it go."

Ruby Doris felt her heart beating faster, like a stone thrown into a still pond, leaving behind ripples of turbulence.

Suddenly, Dai Saint spoke up, "Do you want some dumplings? There's only this one left." Ruby Doris pushed her bowl towards him and went to the kitchen to get him a clean pair of chopsticks.

When she returned with the new chopsticks, she found that Dai Saint had taken her chopsticks and was already eating the pastry. He ate quickly but with a graceful demeanour, and had even moved the fancy evening dishes to the side.

After finishing the dumplings, Dai Saint looked up to see Ruby Doris staring at him with a bewildered expression, he then asked casually, "Are you full yet?"

Ruby Doris felt a pang of sadness, she had only eaten three dumplings and was still hungry.

Dai Saint noticed her discomfort and gave her his own evening snack, saying, "You can have this."

Ruby Doris sat down to eat and finished Dai Saint's snack, then she said, "Thank you." Afterwards, Dai Saint went up to his study to work.

Ruby Doris finished her meal, washed the dishes, and returned to her room. She took a shower and was exhausted, so she lay down on the bed and fell asleep.

When Dai Saint returned to the room, under the warm yellow light, Ruby Doris's face seemed to be covered in a layer of golden powder, emitting a warm glow. Her long eyelashes were peacefully resting, and Dai Saint couldn't help but smile.
